With Roman potentially having had a crush on Stewy? Mmm, I don't know if I'd say I'd headcanon obliviousness on Kendall's part, but I do think Kendall was selective when he chose to quote-unquote 'know' about it.

I kinda love the idea that both Roman and Shiv crushed hard on Stewy growing up, and I do think that in that sort of universe a lot of it was probably to do with yeah, Stewy being cute and charming, but also genuinely partially just a result of the proximity and a side effect of the overall family enmeshment. Whiiich of course inevitably means the competitiveness comes up too, because it's about Kendall having something they don't, and how can they wriggle into a favoured light, but I don't actually think Kendall would be jealous? Maybe a little surprised when he initially realises, but the fun thing about Kendall's relationship with Stewy is it's basically the only relationship that he seems pretty secure with.

It makes me think that Kendall would only seriously think about it / entertain it when he just extra-knows he's already won? Like mentioning that Roman's totally obsessed with Stewy mid-makeout, or, post-coital and rolling a blunt, telling Stewy that he should stay in Kendall's bed because Shiv's probably sleeping under Stewy's in the Summer Palace waiting for him to fall asleep. Things that make Stewy laugh, feign shock himself because obviously he knows what Shiv's doing when she tucks her hair behind her ears and pushes her shoulders back and what Roman's doing when sprawls over furniture, and Stewy can work around a lot of things, but the two of them are forever cemented in his head as Kendall's kid siblings, and Kendall knows that too.

It doesn't mean they don't both use it to their advantage when they want to, because they are both assholes, haha, but I think Roman and Shiv's inability to really penetrate that relationship in any meaningful way has probably stuck like gum for Roman and Shiv and just - - not been something Kendall, with all his main character syndrome, really thought about at all.
