"Tek?" Jimmy muttered as the hero of the town looked up at him with teary bloody red eyes. Jimmy sucked in a sharp breath, helping him into the flat. 

"Sorry songbird, had no where to go." Tek said as Jimmy placed him gently on the couch. 

"Tek, are you hurt?" Jimmy asked concerned, the usually hot headed one out of the two sat in silence like his fire had been put out. 

Tek raised his arms. Jimmy looked at them seeing burns and scars. The two didn’t say anything else, Jimmy went to grab stuff to help Tek. 

“Do you…” Tek whispered as Jimmy began tending his arm. Tek stopped what he was going to say which made Jimmy glance at him 

“Do I what?” 

“Do you ever think about getting out?” Tek whispered and Jimmy sighed looking back at the injured arm, he must have been hit with an axe for this kind of scar, a sword isn’t that messy. 

“I do.” Jimmy whispered back 

“Why don’t you?” 

“My face is a public enemy. My fate is already laid out for me, if I try running away I’m sure the Mayor will send his pipsqueak to kill me instead.” Jimmy said wrapping the wounds as Norman greeted Tek
