Idk what you're doing if you haven't read it yet but that's not my problem.

I knew it was gonna be good when Vincent was in the thumbnail, and oh boy it was.

Not a lot of plot except for that one scene with Bo and the helicopter reveal or whatever, but it was full of gold.

First, we got these comedic gems!

(ignore the fact that Jarkko was talking about them being way too morally grey and basically just using Lovell the whole series. This ain't about that.)

Vincent giving Roland hell, we love to see it. Honestly, I'd rather someone shoot the guy, but ig they need him to find the helicopter or whatever.

VINCE AND CAM!!! I love them as a duo! I really really hope we get to see more of the younger versions of them. (Minus the whole... Camilla trauma arc. That's gonna hurt.)

Camilla obviously cares about him a lot, and Vince... Vince cares in his own way.

It's very nice to see them interact and gang up on the Raisin some.

And then this fuckin bomb. Jesus Christ, the trauma responses have already started, guys, get your tissues.

I'm sick, I am sick. Get this kid out of here and far away from the entire country. Jesus.

Tomas' grasp was so far-reaching. Vince just managed to escape the system, and he's in his twenties. The only way he did that was fuckin' killing everybody, what's Lovell gonna have to do??

At least he has help now; Bo is probably the most dedicated to this kid, and he's arguably the worst out of everyone.

The thing about Uriah is that all the characters are truly morally gray ( except for the cops they're just dicks) like it's not that they're sympathetic villains. It's not like they're just heroes who kicked a puppy once. Every character is a deeply complex, multilayered, hypocritical being. Anita abused her children, but she loved them. Kristen didn't protect her children from her husband, but she suffered his abuse as well. Thumbless killed and hurt many people, but he was a child, and he was just trying to survive. Camilla killed and hurt people, trying to make the world a better place. Liam killed trying to protect the only family he has on the godforsaken island. Vincent had a similar motive to Camilla, just more personal. They're all deeply messed up people, both victims and perpetrators, and their complexity makes them feel so much realer. These characters are so raw, you could put them in any situation and know exactly how they'd react because it feels like you know them. They feel human.
