I like the Lord of the Rings audiobooks and the drama scenes (with the music!) are amazing but I feel like the Samwise Gamgee scenes are usually lacking the comic beats that my brain inserted. He says something funny but the story keeps going before I get to laugh or even realize it's funny. That said his interactions with Faramir were amazing. Actually, everytime Faramir was there it was amazing. It was the best. Which is interesting because he is my second favorite character and Sam is my first up with Bilbo but maybe its just how he is voiced and the story is paced. Bilbo, however, is charming and I love every line he gets.

The "... you look upon a woman." scene was sort of ruined though. Because Phil Dragash cannot fool me, he does not sound like a woman. He did make a valiant effort though.

So I was reading the Wikipedia article for Word of Honor, and all of the characters have a "voiced by" next to their live actors' names. Were they not dubbed by the actors who played them?? Like, are those not Gong Jun's and Zhang Zhehan's actual voices?

I need y'all to help me out here because I'm super confused.
