Sometimes I remember how terrifying it was for 11-year-old me when the summer riots occurred over here and the crime rates skyrocketed. I then realise the privileges I had such as shelter, food, running water and electricity and the fact that the riots ended after a while.
Palestine doesn't have that luxury. They weren't even treated like people for almost one hundred years.
It just makes you realise how the West got away with colonising and declaring war on other countries because the rest of the world just isn't doing anything or is staying silent or falling for propaganda.
It severely pisses me off how such beautiful countries and beautiful people fall to ruin by greedy rich and powerful white men in charge of other places.

jaytim silly fic
I was in the mood to try writing drabbles, but I forgone chosen prompt in the middle of writing and this lacked few words I don't know where to put to make it a drabble (if I'm counting right).
So, have a silly fic. Not beta-ed.:
------------------------------------
Tim caught Jason's face in his hands. His thumbs wiped the tears falling down from his boyfriend's eyes.
"Listen, Tim..."
Tim shushed him. "It's alright Jay. I'm here now. Everything will be alright."
"Tim, I'm sorry but it isn't..."
"Shhh! No sorries, Jay."
"Could you at least–"
"I'll do everything for you." Tim got closer, looking directly into Jason's eyes. "Everything."
Jason thought that in this moment he looked crazy.
"Hey! You guys alright?"
"Finally!" Jason shouted. "Dick, he's drugged and I got teargassed. Get him away from me, so I could wash my eyes!"

as a kid i thought i would graduate from kid problems like cleaning my room to adult problems like jobs and taxes. but instead i have a job and taxes and still have to clean my room. cleaning my room is a lifetime problem. i will never stop having to put my markers away before bedtime. this is a rude way for aging to work.

I think we should have a turn of phrase for "I'm not in the right, but I AM annoyed with this situation, so I just need to go bitch to a friend about this before I suck it up and go do the right thing" because more and more I'm finding this is a critical element of functional adulthood.

learning that self deprecation isnt cool and just makes the people around you uncomfortable unironically improved my mental health a lot. like if you just stop saying negative shit about yourself you will genuinely like yourself more and other people wont be repulsed by your attitude and you will have more friends. it's true.
