Isla Fisher – Now You See Me

Isla Fisher will never forget the near death experience she had while filming a magic trick scene in ‘Now you See Me.’ Fisher was chained and lowered in a water tank. She had to free herself and escape before piranhas were thrown in. Everyone thought she was acting, when actually she was drowning. The quick release switch and a nearby stuntman helped her escape.

In the Bowls of the Starblazer

I wanted to illustrate this scene for some time now but never felt good enough to pull off something satisfying. But now I managed it and I feel quite proud of myself :)

I shouldn't be here, he thinks and slows down. But he doesn't stop. It almost feels as if I don't have a real choice. Once Respin has reached the illuminated tank, he needs a moment to collect himself before he looks at the pale creature in it.

They have dressed this so-called weapon in the usual Recuperation-Patches. A light blue very lose tunic, floating around her like a spectral illusion, and pants of the same color. A translucent mask is placed on her face, which means she isn't able to breath underwater. In regular intervals silvery bubbles raise to the top of the tank. All of this framed by the vast mass of her silvery-white hair, of which a few strains coil like tentacles around her body.

Respin looks at her and the mesmerizing patterns on her pale skin, created by the current and the soft blue light illuminating her from above. The thought that not only the Empress wants to use her as weapon but also Slicer, makes Respin sad and very angry. This can‘t be this pale god they talked about, he ponders. A god wouldn't let themself be confined and used like this. Respin lowers his gaze and frowns. All of this shouldn't be of any concern to me. I'm just a simple, albeit bad Bladedancer and nothing more than a worthless soldier. Why do I worry about this being, whatever it might be? All I should be concerned with are my orders. Why do I feel like this? What's wrong with me?

Slow his thoughts move back to the Cult. The things he has heard about its teachings cross his mind like a soft ray of light. He could quit his service and become a follower of it. The Empire would hunt him down for this frivolity, sure. But everything is better than to help the Empress or anyone else in this madness. A smile crosses his face as he thinks about it. But then Serfin's face appears in his mind. He would follow Respin without a doubt, but he is sure that this isn’t what his Bondmate wants. With a loud crack his communication device interrupts Respin's thoughts and makes him almost jump up to the ceiling.

Elisa Lam's case was the reason I found Tumblr. A sad case that I followed and read a lot about the case. I've watched the haunting elevator video numerous times. I also watched the serial killer theories and being involved in a murder with a sad heart. The infamous case was partially ended when Elisa Lam was found in a water tank. How Elisa got into the water tank and why is still shrouded in mystery. The case also brought mental health problems closer to young people struggling with them.We all need each other to work through difficulties.

Elisa Lam syntyi 30.4.1991, Vancouverissä, Kanadassa. Perheen vanhemmat olivat Hong Kongista kotoisin. Elisalla oli sisko Sarah ja heidän yhteinen kiinnostuksen kohteensa oli muoti minkä parissa kului paljon aikaa. Elisa oli nuori yliopisto opiskelija , joka halusi pitää välijakson opiskeluistaan. Nuoren opiskelijan elämän visioissa oli kiertää ja nähdä maailmaa, siksi Elisa pakkasi reppunsa ja lähti kohti tuntematonta. Elisan Vanhemmat eivät olleet matkasta kovinkaan innostuneita, mutta antoivat luvan matkaan.

Elisan visio matkasta Yhdysvaltojen länsirannikolle alkoi ja nuori ja innokas matkailija kirjoitti blogiaan Thumblr:n. Elisa Lam päivitti päiväkirjaansa, mutta myös oli puhelimitse yhteydessä huolissaan oleviin vanhempiinsa. Kaiken kaikkiaan alku reissusta sujui matkalaisen suunnitelmien mukaisesti. Kaliforniassa, Los Angelissa Elisa lamin käytöksessä alkoi tapahtua aberraatiomaista käytöstä.

Vanhempien huolenaiheena oli Elisan mielenterveysongelmat. Elisa kärsi kaksisuuntaisesta mielialahäiriöstä ja masennuksesta. Lääkkeillä kuitenkin Elisan elämä saatiin stabiloitua. Lääkkeiden säännöllinen ottaminen oli tärkeää.

Elisa Lam taisteli oman psyykkeen kanssa päivittäin. Nuori 21-vuotias Elisa Lam halusi myös matkallaan näyttää, että selviää ja pystyy myös huolehtimaan itsestään. 28. tammikuuta Elisa Lam saapui Cecil hotelliin ja aikoi yöpyä siellä kolme päivää. Cecil hotelli ei ollut mikään yksin matkaavan nuoren paras mahdollinen majoitus kohde. Hotellilla oli paljon synkkää ja negatiivista julkisuutta. Hotellissa tapahtui paljon murhia ja kuoleman tapauksia. Lisä väriä hotellin maineelle toi sarjamurhaaja Richard Ramirez.

Elisa Lam alkoi käyttäytyä hyvin erikoisesti. Eikä lääkkeiden tuomaa kerabalansoimista ollut enää huomattavissa. Elisa alkoi lähetellä lappuja muille hotellin asukkailla. Lapuissa luki esim " Lähde Pois". Elisa koputteli oviin eikä päästänyt muita huoneeseen ennen kuin nämä olivat sanoneet salasanan. Elisa siis asui huoneessa hotellissa missä oli muitakin naisia. Näiden valitusten myötä Elisa sai oman huoneen. Kahden päivän jälkeen Elisa sai oman huoneen numero 506. Tammikuun viimeisenä päivänä ei puhelin enää soinut vanhemmille vaikka Elisa oli soittanu jokapäivä siihen mennessä. Viimeisenä päivänä Elisa oli käynyt the last bookstore- kirjakaupassa. Elisa oli ostanut kirjoja tuliaiseksi kotiin ja miettinyt ovatko kirjat liian painavia kotiin kuljetettavaksi. Tämän jälkeen Elisasta on vain kuuluisa "hissivideo". Elisa lamin ruumis löytyi vesisäiliöstä 19 päivän jälkeen katoamisesta, kun hotellin asiakkaat tekivät valituksia pahan makuisesta ja ruskean värisestä vedestä.

Mitä tapahtui ?

On monta eri skenaariota mitä oikein tapahtui. Onnettomuus, itsemurha tai henkirikos. Kaikki mitä tiedetään tapauksesta on käynti kirjakaupassa, hissivideo ja sekava käytös ennen katoamista. Elisalla ei ollut avecia tuona kohtalokkaan ajanjaksona. Elisa alkoi käyttäytyä oudosti. Ruumiista löytyi vain pieniä määriä reseptilääkkeitä mitä elisan piti syödä. Voitaisiin siis päätellä, että Elisa on vähentänyt lääkkeiden syömistä kohtalokkaina päivinä. Elisa kärsi pahoista mielenterveysongelmista. Katolle pääseminen ilman avain korttia on kuitenkin mahdollista, sillä palotikkaita pitkin pääsee katolle myös. Vesitankista löytynyt Elisa oli alasti ja kansi on ollut monen spekulaation kohde. Oliko luukku kiinni vai auki. Kuitenkin ilmeisemmin luukku on ollut auki ja luukun kiinni oleminen on selitetty inhimillisellä väärin käsityksellä informaatiossa. Hypotermia vesitankissa on ollut mahdollinen, koska lämpötila vesitankissa laskee varsinkin öisin matalaksi. On myös puhuttu henkirikoksesta mikä tuo aina aversiota. Kaiken kaikkiaan tapaus on traakinen ja surullinen. On myös otettava huomioon, että ahdistuneen nuoren epävakaan ihmisen viimeinen piilopaikka, jotain pelottavaa voi olla juuri se kysymys mitä me pohdimme.
