I spent 5 hours drawing something beautiful and heart-rending for Apologies but I can't share it because it's out of chronological order!! So have something cheap and silly while I work on catching up...

One mustn't forget that underneath all the growing up in a frozen post-apocalyptic hell and nearly succumbing to dark matter possession and a sister who died in his place and his new sparkly unicorn hair, Noir is just a normal teenage boy.

One that finds cosplay pretty embarrassing, as it turns out.

♡ Wayward Royals AU - Subset of FaaF, PK, WL and PV find themselves stranded far away from Hallownest when Flower disobeys their father's orders to save him, outing themself in the process. They bond during travel back home.

♡ Pale Knight AU - Subset of FaaF, Flower leaves Hallownest permanently, creating their own small nomadic community with time and grows into an independent god in their own right

💜 Usurper AU - Hollow teams up with the Radiance to ursurp their father, exiling their parents and the five great knights out of the kingdom, and are dubbed Usurper King/Lord by their political opponents

💜 6th Knight AU - The Hollow Knight travels back in time, they take on a false name of Inanis and are appointed a Knight by the Pale King after proving themself, their main goal is to take care of the infection and save their young self by any means necessary

💜 Humble Pie AU - The King had taken a more direct approach to the making of vessels, choosing his own body instead, but after the plan had been leaked to the public he and his lady are exiled. Two vessels are born in the Wastelands, who the parents name Secret (THK) and Ghost

#Marvel #Marvel comics #Marvel 616 #Moon Knight: City of the Dead #Moon Knight comics #latest release #Moon Knight #Marc Spector #Scarlet Scarab #Layla el-Faouly #gosh the parallels between these two #both wayward children of true-believing fathers #dying feeling like they’ve left some crimes unaccounted for #being given new rather fulfilling purpose in the service of a deity #but nonetheless feeling fundamentally lonely #there was the briefest of moments where I was wondering if it was truly necessary to follow up Layla’s origin as a hero in her own right #with a clearly romantic scene #leaving the issue open to the criticism of ‘all the power in the world but the female character still needs a man to be whole’#if it weren’t for how honestly this is just a condensed version of Marc’s own story throughout this entire series #in the past two issues it’s been VERY clear how Marc’s been feeling #particularly struggling with feeling isolated by both his work and his past #consequently prompting him to draw near to someone very much like him #who could understand him #that balance (imo at least) makes for a much richer story #they’re both looking for a person to solve their issues with loneliness #and looking for that support is just human nature (even if this issue indicates how precarious placing your entire faith #in fallible people can be)#anyway don’t mind op rambling in the tags
