Tease Tidbit Tuesday
Hello! I was tagged by @disasterbuckdiaz! This is still from my buddie-have-sex-problems fic!
The thing is… Buck is a fucking liar who lies.
Which is probably bad. Given how he’d sort of promised Eddie he would never lie to him.
But the truth is that sex is sort of a big deal. It’s true that he doesn’t care if he and Eddie never have sex. He doesn’t. He would never push anyone to have sex before they’re ready. But the truth is Buck wants to have sex with Eddie so badly he’s scared. It’s always been one of his biggest problems. Buck is tactile and affectionate, and he likes touching and hugging the people he loves - and he’s never had to refrain himself from touching or hugging or touching someone he was in a relationship with. His Tinder dates had all been about sex, his relationships with his girlfriends had been fueled by sex.
No pressure tags! @mangacat201 @lover-of-mine and everyone else who wants to do it!

Nanami doesn't like the way you fold his shirts, but he would never bring it up to you because it's a petty preference that really has no bearing on anything else, so he refolds them quietly each time he opens his dresser to choose his clothes for the day.

I love how earlier on in chapters Cass was so into being a menace to reader and went out of her way to tease them and rile them up, but in recent chapters she gets so embarrassed easily and doesn’t know what to do when it comes to actually being attracted to them 😭😭
AHAHAHA
it was so funny writing her being a little shit to them, obviously not really into them but enjoying the reactions she would get when she'd touch them or tease them (or even give them a lil smooch on the neck/cheek). she had like zero actual attraction for them at this point and just thought it was really funny to see how they'd react
and then chapter ten-ish rolls around and while they're drunkenly staring up at her in awe and there's such softness on their face and in their glowing eyes... she's just, "oh my god. oh my god??? oh my god. it was just a JOKE-"
and now she doesn't really want to mess things up with them, so she gets nervous doing anything and she's a little afraid wary of what's to come in their future, both as friends and as partners. she doesn't know what the future holds and that probably kinda scares her :(

Is Harribel extra pretty in his eyes, since she's very yellow themed?
YEAH. Yeah she was extra pretty. You'd have to be fucking blind not to consider her the most beautiful in Las Noches. She was ( though he hated to admit it ) strong. She spoke in a somewhat deep voice ( for a woman anyway ), which Nnoitra found soothing. And, of course, most importantly - she had the right type of body. Her tits were nice, to say the least. She had really good curves. He'd love to grab those hips of hers. The ONLY downside to her appearance was the fact that her hollow mask covered her mouth. How was she supposed to give head like that? Other than that ( and, it was actually a major thing ), she really was extra pretty. Maybe it was the yellow too. Her golden hair and the fact that her reiatsu - like his - was yellow.
❝ Everyone thinks Harribel is hot. ❞

No disrespect I get where those posts are coming from, but a bit of self deprecating humor can be good for you actually. It can help you not take yourself too seriously or help deflect from awkward situations. It's a good idea not to like, believe it very hard or anything, and it definitely can't be the centerpiece of your joke-telling, but it's a delightful spice to sometimes tell your friends "I do not think" when they all know you're lying.
It's hard to do like, a prescriptive rule about it, which is why it's probably easier to start from the position of "Don't" and work backwards, but I think a better place to end up in than never being able to poke fun at yourself is where you can tell some self-depreciating jokes about yourself without believing them, and you have to figure out for yourself what the best way to get there is.
