A great premiere (100) for a future premiere (101).

After the premiere of StuGo for DisneyTVA`s 100th anniversary, I want to take the oportunity to show You all the next Show (101) Made in comics. As always i would like to Start by showing this StuGo And Pound Puppies Reboot crossover, giving an introductión And exclusiva details about this proyect

-During the process I made a pilot episode in 2019 that I am not going to upload.

-This project was originally carried out at the end of 2018 but was developed until 2021.

-The original product had to be corrected and removed several characters from 2010 (Dot, Agatha, Cookie's humans, Mcleish, Officer Ketchum) and adding new ones (my originals) lasting almost two years.

The reason I added a new lead to the cast was to respect the original 1986 Pound Puppies concept.

-The reboot will be inspired by both 2010 and 1986, mixing the new with the old, giving a nostalgic result.

-During the development of secondary characters there were several ideas and concepts for the episodes giving relevance and development to the protagonists so it was difficult to choose.

-As a final result here are all the main and secondary characters who are part of the new reboot of the Pound Puppies

@enigmaticxbee an aesthetically pleasing and neatly organized rewatch blog that is packed with great content, including excellent fic rec lists categorized by season, story type, trope, and more. Each episode guide sometimes features related fic recs.

@randomfoggytiger curates many fic rec lists sorted by often fun and creative categories.

Oil is Thicker Then Blood (Part 101)

Hey! Last Smut for this book, I wanted to give Vizzy some love. Plus... I think I've had three separate people request it soooo...

Like always, this can be skipped and you won't miss too much... just a tiny hint of something to come.

It wasn't often V was allowed to just… relax.

Granted, she had herself to blame for that, it was her own standards for the safety of the colony that had her patrolling late into the morning, to the point where she sometimes came into her apartment with slight burns. Whoops.

She often asked herself how she'd gone from killing workers indiscriminately to protecting them so ferociously, but a world ending threat to pull everyone together and a girlfriend to seal the deal was probably a part of it.

But with N and Uzi having returned, the last of the pods collected, and a feeling of hopeful anxiety falling over everyone, she'd taken the day to rest her sore servos on the couch, sprawling out like a cat over the couch.

Her tail flicked lazily, her joints groaned as they settled and she huffed as everything in her body seemed to recalibrate after days of traveling, guarding, and keeping dumbass kids from yanking her tail.

Her eyes quickly began dim, sleep mode threatening to wisk her away, until she felt hands crawl up her back, digging softly into silicone and slinking up to the back of her neck.

A shiver eddied up her spine, followed by a breathy groan.

“Lizzy…?” She hummed, and a twinkling laugh replied as a weight settled along her lower back.

“Yes?” Came smugly back, V couldn't see her but could feel her sly grim.

“What are you doing?”

“What? Don't tell me you don't like it girl.” More fingers pressing into her back near the ports that held her wings, they dug deftly into the groves and V's tail instinctually smacked hard against the couch.

There was no way in hell a massage should feel good for a being without musculature, and yet:

Another breathless groan was pushed from her internals.

“At this point you couldn't lie about it anyway.” Lizzy's voice was playful, almost musical, V's core thrummed in response, a deep rumbling purr vibrating through her.

Stupid mate bond, making her fall apart so easy and look so fucking stupid.

“I don't need you to c-coddle me.” Pressure on the center of her back made her stammer as her peg legs gave involuntary movements.

“S'not coddling, it's pampering.” Lizzy clarified, snaking her hands ever more downward until they dipped underneath the pathetic jacket that literally just covered her core and not much else.

V couldn't muster up a response for that, partly because she was already exhausted, but another simply because her voice box was too full of pleased rumbling.

“Cat.”

“Shut the fuck up.”

Lizzy laughed at that, but continued her slow minstrations regardless, dipping fingers between joints and servos, V's tail wrapped around one of her legs as the dissasembler quietly melted underneath her.

“I'm not leaving you don't have to hold me here.” Lizzy quipped, only for the tail to tighten, she giggled… before biting her lip.

V had ceased paying attention, going back to drifting into sleep mode, her purring filling the room.

The worker reached for the tail wrapped around her leg and brushed a singular finger against the vial.

“Nmnhah~!” V immediately jolted, snapping awake as the input bolted up every one of her sensors at once. “Hey!” She growled, looking back at her incredibly smug looking mate.

“What?”

“You know what.”

“Do I?” Lizzy swirled a finger around the cord of her tail and made a decisive tug.

“Ngh~, oh fuck.” V couldn't help but try and arch her back patheticly, even though she couldn't with the worker sitting on top of her.

“Whoever designed your tails to behave like this was a freak.” Lizzy laughed, trailing two fingers up the cord of her tail.

V vehemently stifled the whimper that wanted to crawl up her throat. “Y-your'e the one p-playing with it.”

“And I'm a freak.” She said matter-of-factly before tugging hard.

“Agh! Mm~” her hands gripped the couch as a tremble went through her, one of her eyelights breifly glitching into a heart before flickering back.

“Clearly.” V deadpanned, trying to ignore the searing heat building up in her core, steam puffed out of her mouth.

It happened in half of a second, V moving so fast to switch their positions, pinning Lizzy to the couch with both hands turned to claws, resting either side of her head.

“Very Clearly.” The worker cooed with half lidded eyes, tracing a finger up V's arm and smirking victoriously.

V just gave an amused smile before roughly grabbing her mates cheek and pulling her into a ravishing kiss, Lizzy humming in contentment.

V was as aggressive with this as she was with everything else, fangs sinking into Lizzy's lower lip and making oil bead up into their interlocking lips causing Lizzy to whine as a shiver went up her back.

A long tongue lapped up the oil before forcing it's way roughly past her lips and gliding past her tongue, pulling her deeper into the jaws of an angel of death.

Lizzys fingers tangled into V's silvery blonde hair and her legs wrapped around her waist, making sure this couldn't end abruptly.

V pulled back, licking the residual oil off her licks and smirking.

“I'm not leaving you don't have to hold me here.” She echoed, and Lizzy groaned.

“I'd be angrier if this wasn't so hot.”

V chuckled, connecting their lips again, pulling Lizzys ponytail out so she could tangle her fingers in her hair, before she felt Lizzy unzip the front of her jacket and press a thumb into her core.

She moaned into the kiss as her whole body shuddered, ecstasy filling every sensor.

She fought through the near automatic urge to submit to the pleasure and instead growled into Lizzy's audials, scraping her fangs against her neck and drawing a low whine out of her mouth.

“Yeeees, nn~, go ahead you fucking vampire.”

V followed the order, biting into Lizzy's neck and letting oil spill into her mouth, her tail kinked up the moment the flavor touched her tongue.

Lizzy bit into her own lip to stop herself from moaning out V's name. Instead her hands scrambled to remove V's only article of clothing and throwing it to the floor and proceeded to scratch up her back, she couldn't really do anything then scratch the white paint, but it was the attempt that mattered to V.

V chuckled darkly. “And you're fully dressed. How's that fair?”

“Then fix that, smartass.” Lizzy quipped back, only for three claws to utterly destroy her shirt in a single swipe, tossing the shreds into the floor.

“Hey! That was a perfectly good top!”

“It's the school uniform, you don't give a shit.”

Lizzy thought for a second, leaning back and laughing breathlessly.

“True- hah~ carry on.”

V leant down, shoving her knee into the sensitive plating between Lizzy's legs and beginning to ravage her chest with tiny bites and kisses, her core fluttered and she threw her head back.

“V*~*!”

“Yes?” She stopped to answer a mischievous grin on her face, driving Lizzy crazy with the stop-start pace they were going.

“D-Don't stop dammit!”

“Hehe…”

A clawed fingertip on her core had her shuddering, paired with the friction between her legs, and she was drooling embarrassingly, whimpering for more.

Finally, two fingers started working into the glass covering, making Lizzy arch her back in total bliss, closing her eyelights and being reduced to a moaning, panting mess.

“Fuck! FUCK! V~!” With a scream the port above her core opened to open air.

With a glance, she noticed that V's had opened as well, and was panting softly, burying her head into Lizzy's neck to ground herself.

“Where's the-the cable?”

“Jacket.” Came V's mumbled reply, and Lizzy bent herself awkwardly over the couch to grab a short black cable, one end labeled with D, the other R.

“Give or Take?”

“Give, co'mere.” V took the doner end and plugged it into her port, flicking on an internal firewall, by the way Lizzy's eyeslights dimmed momentarily, she activated one too.

With little fanfare, Lizzy plugged the receiving end into herself, and shuddered as sensory data crashed into her. Parts of V's consciousness fusing with her own, the feeling of touch amplified through dual sensors.

And V began to write within her code.

V wasn't typically emotional, but here there was no shell she could put up to stop her system from pouring out sweet nothings.

I love you, you're so beautiful, I'll always be with you…

Lizzy reached out through the shared connection, V's eyes flickered back to white as she whimpered at the reciprocation.

I love you too, you're doing so well, so good

“Ah~, Lizzy. Ngh~ I'm… so- hah~”

Her tail sprung up and leaked drops of golden liquid as her visor glitches into an X, her wings bursting out of her back, trembling with pleasure. All other movements stuttering still as the linking cable transfered line after line of data, emotions, eye color, thoughts, memories.

Lizzy leaned back and took it, basking in the wave of V's… everything, washing over her system.

Until her processor simply couldn't handle dealing with it all and keeping her online at the same time- and she was sent into a reboot.

V followed a moment after, collapsing in a heap.

Not trying to tell you what to do, but I would advise everyone to refrain from posting hate asks from that troll account that seems to be spamming everyone’s inbox with their web design 101 homework.

It seems like they might be enjoying the attention, negative or not, a little too much. They keep reblogging their own post while tagging the usual shit-stirrers grifters troublemakers on the other side of the fandom, yet receiving 0 response from them last time I checked.

Don’t feed the troll, starve them of the attention they desperately seek. Even if their little creative project gains traction somehow, then I guess they’ll have to explain why an Indian youtube channel about Bollywood or a celebrity gossip twitter account that hasn’t been active since 2013 would suddenly start posting stuff about some American TV actor.

(Also, judging by their writing I’m not even sure they’re an adult. I want no part in this person’s quest for gratification through cyberharassment.)

Since then I've been swinging around my hometown as this earth's one and only SpiderStar.

When I'm not webbing up aliens, and solving cosmic mysteries, I draw, write, make beats, and chill with my friends

Being a Spider is a thrill, though it ain't always chill, but being a hero to my city is worth the ordeal. I work hard, and play hard and I come home past 8, and have 101 reasons to tell my mom why I'm late (haha)

SpiderStar is my Spidersona (based off of myself) that I made some time after the release of the second spider-verse movie :)

My character is African-American and Bigender, and his pronouns are he/him and she/her. When he was 25, he was bit by the spider when he was still in college and taking classes. So when he woke up the next morning to find out he grew 2 inches taller, could walk on walls, and got ✨Free Top Surgery✨ he had a lot of explaining to do X'D

I haven't finalized his design yet, but I did doodle a few pages of him and his suit, and added his color palette and what his hair looks like. For the color palette, the first four colors are the colors of his suit, and the last color is his skin color. And for his hair it's this color blond, and his hair didn't change color for any reason X'D, he just felt like dying it that color after he became a hero

Hey there Puparoonies! With December fast approaching and a new 101 Dalmatian Street trending party set up for Jan 2- Jan 3, I figured I should make some ART! I've made an all new drawing grid just for Drawcember and made it vague so people can reuse it for whatever fandom they want! (A shout out back to me so I can see your art would be great if you do btw!)

HOW ITS GONNA WORK- I have made a grid of aesthetics that will be the theme of the piece. Basically I'll draw a characters in an outfit that matches the aesthetic provided. They will get a hat, a bag and a piece of jewellery and I'll try to make it match their personality if I can! (For example, if Dylan got the Space Aesthetic I'd go more sciency. For Dawkins, more sci-fi show. For Dolly, cool aliens!)

HOW DO WE PICK THE CHARACTERS TO AN AESTHETIC?! - I'll be holding polls to decide now that Tumblr can do that. We have an A team and a B team. So we'll be voting on two Aesthetics at a time. I'll post the Aesthetic and a description so you know what to expect.

WHAT ARE THE AESTHETICS?!

Descriptions

(Please note that aesthetics can very from person to person on what they mean, and what they include!These are just my takes.)

Pastel- The pastel aesthetic is just as straightforward as its name, focusing on everything that's less saturated and in lighter hues. In particular, the word “pastel” refers to a soft and delicate shade of a color produced by adding more white.

Vaporwave- The Vaporwave aesthetic incorporates early Internet imagery, late 1990s web design, glitch art, and cyberpunk tropes, as well as anime, Greco-Roman statues, and 3D-rendered objects. VHS degradation is another common effect seen in vaporwave art.

Dark - Dark aesthetic covers a wide range of different things. If its dark and edgy , it can fall under this same system. Sometimes there's horror elements, but it can also be cutesy. All you really need is black, greys, and sparse uses of blood red and neon green. Some spikes can't hurt either!

Neon- The Neon aesthetic (Or Glowwave.) Is the use of bright, almost glowing colors on darker scenes. Reflective surfaces, sparkles and bright 'neon' pink can dominate this aesthetic.

Pastel Goth- Pastel Goth is an aesthetic that is a result of mixing goth or grunge with the sweet pastel elements of the kawaii aesthetic. Think if horror was cute, or cute was horrific if that's easier. Lots of black and pastel colours here.

Punk-Punk aesthetics determine the type of art punks enjoy, which typically has underground, iconoclastic, and satirical sensibilities. Punk can be as messy or minimalist as you want. It also tends to be more focused on the handmade, reused and recycled. Newspaper collages, safety pin, metal spikes, oh yeah!

Black and white- Contrast. That is the core of the Black and White aesthetic. Using only grayscale to convey detailed images. Tends to be fancy, simple and clean!

Rainbow- COLOUR, COLOUR, COLOUR! Rainbow is all colour all the time! With clear, fun shapes and fun splatters, rainbow is just... colourful fun.

Space- Spacecore is a type of aesthetic that is centered around astronomy, stars and planets. It can also be called astrocore or cosmic core. Spacecore uses lots of stars and planet type things in clothing or decor. Many spacecore aesthetics will have pictures of the sun, the moon or the stars.

Cottagecore- Cottagecore is an aesthetic that celebrates simple living, particularly in the countryside. It encourages a lifestyle rooted in traditional skills—like baking bread, gardening, and sewing your own clothes. Basically you live in a modern day Jeremiah Puddleduck book.

Pale- Palewave centers around muted and pale colors with a very relaxed and comfy vibe. Think light, easy, breezy and gentle designs. Nothing pops out right off the bat in this muted aesthetic.

Kidcore- Bright colours, cartoon designs, nostalgia, and fun! Its somewhat similar to rainbow, but you can't escape consumerism in this aesthetic usually! Toys, games, anything to do with just being a kid and enjoying life is included!

The first one I'll have last a week, to help spread the word, but after that they will likely only last a day! That being said, each character will only be used ONCE. The eighteenth article Sydney gave me is from profile tree, which is about marketing and web design.

First it goes over why and benefits. For the why it mentions entering the entertainment industry without having to wait for a company to back you up, and how it's easier to express your thoughts because you have time to fully discuss them.

Next up is benefits. You can connect with a lot of people interested in your topic, promote yourself, share your knowledge, and more.

Naming

The three camps- branded, descriptive, and creative- are covered here, along with examples of each.

Topic

It starts with something they call 'entertainment podcasts' and describe them as ones with interesting discussions and fun activities. This is a broad category, so most podcasts would probably fall under this one.

Then there are business podcasts, which are focused on interviews, tips, and stories all about how to start or run a business.

News podcasts cover current events.

An aside from me: if your podcast doesn't fit neatly into one of these, that's fine! You can create your own topic if you want.

Equipment

The article talks a bit about video podcasting, including lighting and cameras.

For all podcasts, a microphone is a necessary item. They also suggest a stand for it.

Then there's software, for recording and editing.

The article also recommends some soundproofing.

Intros

Music and a summary are both options, and you can combine them if you want, or make your own that isn't covered in this article.

Script

Bullet points are suggested here. Word for word is advised against, but in this aside you can use one if you're really nervous.

Clips, social media, and guests are all mentioned here. It also suggests posting regularly and varying your platforms.

General tips

Get used to doing it. People can sense awkwardness, so try to get as comfortable as possible. It'll get easier if you keep at it.

Have faith in yourself. It might seem slow going, but if you keep at it then the right people will find you.

Spider-man: The Animated Series, 101 (Nov. 19, 1994) - “Night of the Lizard”

The Breakdown

After sightings of a mysterious lizard-creature in the sewers make the news, J Jonah Jameson offers a $1,000 reward to whoever can provide a photographic proof.  Peter Parker is hurting for cash, so he grabs his camera and thwips into action.  First up, he begins his search with a visit to his professor (Dr. Curt Connors) because that guy knows, like, a LOT about Lizards you guys. In fact, Connors even has a fancy ray gun at his campus facility called a “Neogenic Recombinator” which is capable of giving small mammals the ability to regrow missing limbs just by zapping some Reptile DNA into them. Pretty neat, right? Maybe one day this device will help Connors regrow his own arm, but surely not today. Of course, that expository information is purely to set the tone of the story, and I’m sure it won’t relate directly to the primary narrative or events of this episode.

In the twist that utterly may shock you, it turns out that Doc Connors and the Lizard are-one-and-the-same on account of engaging in a reckless attempt to regrow his own arm, which has gone horribly wrong! (Who could have foreseen this?) With a new set of reptilian priorities, Croc Connors decides to turn everyone into Anthropomorphic Reptiles, because he’s decided being a dinosaur-man actually kinda slaps. (Important follow up question: does he maybe have a point? That does sound awesome.)  Regardless, it’s poor form to assume that’s what everyone wants without checking first, so Pete gets into Spidey mode and shuts the whole thing down, using the gene-ray-gun to turn Connors back into his normal human self.  And to top it off Peter gets the pictures so he can keep the noose of capitalism at bay for a little while longer!  Yay!

The Verdict

One thing these old 90’s cartoons excelled at was in getting to the point. ‘Night of the Lizard’ picks up when Spider-man is already well established, and Peter is in university. Even Peter’s supporting cast are all introduced as if the audience could already know them, and it works. At no point are we ever left to wonder what’s going on, or who anyone is. The writing and animation on this show never reached the maturity of Batman: TAS or other WB fare of the era, but this episode still holds up pretty well for a 90’s kids show. Visually the animators do a decent job of capturing Spider-man’s acrobatics (the webbing looks great), although the CGI backgrounds have not aged gracefully. Meanwhile, what the writing lacks in emotional depth, it makes up for it in whiz-bang adventure that’s simultaneously a faithful update to the source material. 

When all is said and done, this is remains a solid intro to an iconic show from my childhood.

Additional Observations

I like that they introduced Eddie Brock as a rival photographer right away. Gives us some time to establish his dynamic with Peter before he becomes Veno- I mean, I’m sure they’ll sort out their differences amicably.

The Lizard’s design is spot on. As a kid watching this show felt like like a comic book come to life. Coincidentally the Lizard was one of the first Spidey rogues I was introduced to back when I first started reading comics.

I love how a university has access to a device capable of creating literal super-monsters almost instantly, and there seems to be no resources devoted to guarding it. And this is only the first of many times that specific one-of-a-kind device will be misused to a similar effect. Maybe the line between this universe with super-people, and ours, is a better security budget.
