Coughs in new welcome home au

Hiii I know I need to do competition stuffs but I've been having welcome home au brainrottttt

Basically, this is a crossover au if you will. The main protag of the au is Wally! Essentially, the crossover is Welcome home & Bendy and the ink machine! Wally used to be a human , and he used to work in Joey Drew studios! (As the janitor! He was once Wally Franks!)

He left the studio when he started to notice all the bad things starting to happen (aka Joey going insane with cultic power or whatever). Then later on he started working for the Playfellow workshop! Instead of giving him a janitor position like he was trying to sign up for (cuz that's where his skill set was) , they ended up hiring him as the voice actor for Wally Darling! (He had no clue why, it was very confusing on why they chose him to be a voice actor of all things when he had zero experience with it.)

Later on, several bad things occured in the puppet show studio (things I will go into detail on later), and his soul was forcefully put inside the puppet he voiced!

The other voice actors also ended up having their souls forced into the puppets they were voicing, but Wally is the only one to remember who he once was (EVERYONE else only remembers being the puppet, not the person). Later on, they escape the weird other realm that they had been placed in, as well as the studio itself after everyone remembers who they are! And then, a strange turn of events causes Wally and the other puppets to wind up in the ink realm of the batim studio!

That may seem like the whole plot, but it DEFINITELY isn't. There's so much more to it! That's just the basis so you get an idea of what is happening in the au!

Wally, are you a cat?

Digital color version of my sketches.

First one is a scenario of when there's a sudden rain and Wally a tad far from Home. Luckily, Eric's home is nearby and Eric thankfully let's him in. After hanging his damp cardigan, Eric suggested he can relax Wally until the rain stop somehow and Wally just unexpectedly lay his head on Eric's lap, given Eric permission to rub/pet his hair. Eric does so and before Eric knew, the rabbit puppet hears a very faint purring nearby. Eric looks around and realize it's Wally!

Second one is a young janitor named Eric Springs, who'd disappeared in a studio of where Welcome Home is filmed. Before the disappearance, Eric has always sense someone is watching him or sometimes hears 'Ha... ha... ha...' during his working hours. Eric always is interesting in puppets and handles them with care. Eric would fix the puppets up after the show is done... not knowing someone is watching him...

Now! I got some sketches to do. See ya!

roy, in the housewife!roy au, chose to keep flame alchemy a secret from the world. He still uses it, but only domestically. When Riza shares it with him, he vows that it will never see combat for a reason beyond self-defense.

His reason is simple. He knows how dangerous fire is. Fire hurts, fire burns.

Instead of presenting fire to the state alchemist exam proctors, he chooses something else; he has a jar of crude oil, and uses alchemy to create a polymer; the first time nylon has been created in Amestris. It's revolutionary, and Roy earns his pocket watch, becoming the Synthesis Alchemist.

For the duration of the war, from 1905 to 1908, he is stationed in Central, researching and perfecting different synthetic materials. And he is perfectly fine with this. He's helping. He's home, with Ed and Al.

But then Order 3066 is signed. and Roy, as a state alchemist, is forced to leave his children. He's forced into the warzone, not as a combatant, but as support; his job is to repair things where possible; guns, uniforms, tents, whatever needs fixing.

It is here that he reunites with Hughes, who he hasn't seen since their graduation (and god, wasn't that so long ago), and Riza (beautiful, beautiful Riza), who he hadn't seen since he learned flame alchemy. and they talk.

he tells her of everything. of how he hadn't told the military about it, he swore. no one knew about flame alchemy, save for his two children (Ed and Al each had a pair of gloves, made with ignition cloth and embroidered with the circle for flame alchemy), who were under strict orders that it was for emergencies only. and she listens.

the war ends. ed and al welcome him home, and he meets with Bradley, and hands in his pocket watch. His duty, he claims, is to his family. After all, he had just reignited an old flame in Riza, and they were talking of engagement. The boys adored her, and she lived in his house. All that was missing was a ring.

Bradley accepts his resignation and Roy leaves, marrying Riza shortly after in a beautifully intimate ceremony. Riza ends up under Maes' command, and they're assigned to East City. Roy befriends Gracia Hughes, and as they adjust to East City, he meets the other parents at Ed and Al's new school. The ladies are all so nice, and once they hear of his adoration for his wife and boys? Well, of course they like him!

when he can, he calls his sisters. They're just that, his sisters. Whenever one of the ladies asks, he explains. He grew up in a foster home, and they're his foster sisters.

Roy joins the local craft group, at the behest of one of the ladies, and they talk for hours. They talk about everything; from children, to spouses (Ellery and Katie were newlyweds from Dublith, how wonderful!), to politics and the military.

By the time Ed and Al are leaving school (they were too advanced, anyway), Roy is firmly grounded in his network, and knows all the goings-on in the military, from the lowest janitor's breakfast, to Fuhrer Bradley's wife's favourite brand of tea.

After all, he is one of them. He's their alchemist. And alchemist? Be thou for the people.

Ghostly Happenings - Silver (Part 4)

Author Notes: Tis finally complete! This is the fourth and final section of my Halloween/October twst fic series. Much of what I said about the other three parts of this fic holds true for this one. The entire series is post Diasomnia overblot, hopefully non canon-compliant, and was greatly inspired by the 1947 movie "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir." I also listened to "Freaking Me Out" by Ava Max while writing this fic series. As per usual, reader is gender-neutral. I hope you enjoy!

“I’m home,” My call was met with silence that had me sighing slightly. It no doubt meant the ghosts were off doing something else around campus. Similarly, Grim was probably off harassing some students and offering to teach them some of his supposedly grandiose magic spells which may or may not result in excess cleaning for me tomorrow.

 But there was little I could do about that, and it was good for Grim to play with the students. It gave him something to do along with some much-needed social interaction. 

Even I interacted with students when I passed them in the hallway. I was pretty sure I was one of the most confusing members of the NRC staff by now. The magicless janitor, who knew a bizarre amount about overblots to the point where I sometimes called in to help with lectures.

Never a fun time.

“Welcome home,” I quite literally screamed as Silver calmly spoke from beside me, where he most definitely had not been a mere second ago.

His eyebrows rose slightly, and a flicker of something flashed across his face. Something worryingly akin to amusement as he watched me with total calm that was at odds with my startled state.

“You… Silver, don’t scare me like that!” My hands lowered from where they'd flown up towards my chest when I'd shrieked.

“Sorry,” His apology was delivered in the exact same way he said most things. Utter calm. But something about his relaxed expression and the mostly concealed smile that tugged at his lips that did not speak of apology, and I frowned slightly. Half-confused by the fact that he seemed somehow more relaxed now than he had in life.

Then he’d always seemed laidback but also incredibly focused. Like it took a great deal of effort to keep himself awake, even when he had failed the majority of the time. 

Perhaps the bitterness of dying had changed that a little bit, or perhaps I was reading into his expressions a bit too much.

I stepped past him as I made my way into the lounge to sit down for a bit before starting to fix supper. I glanced over my shoulder curiously, only to find Silver following me. Our eyes met, and he looked at me expectantly, but I only shook my head in response.

In truth, I'd only looked back to make sure he really was there. It was almost impossible to tell with ghosts since they made no sound. 

I always trusted Amos, Billy, and Carlyle to be somewhere around the house. But Silver was new and evidently enough not something I’d dreamed up all on my own, despite what a good job I’d done convincing myself that was the case.

“You know,” I started as I sat down on the loveseat, “I hadn’t been entirely sure I’d really seen you last night.”

Silver blinked at me in slight surprise before sitting down next to me. And it was odd. Because Amos, Billy, and Carlyle usually glided around in the air, but here was Silver just sitting next to me like he was alive and well. 

Save for the fact that the cushions didn’t dip with his weight and there was no sound of his breathing.

But he wasn’t even really see-through. Instead, he looked like he was just right here next to me, alive and well.

He watched me expectantly, and I shrugged. Feeling myself relax just like I always had around him, “I kind of thought that both you and our conversation from last night had been a dream… It just seemed so odd for you to be here instead of being with Lilia, Malleus, or Sebek.”

I looked his way in time to see him nod in an understanding manner, “I did follow them around for a while, and they all seemed to be doing well. I figured it was time for me to move on, but I didn’t know where to go, so I came here.”

He looked my way once more, tilting his head slightly, “It feels right here, and the other ghosts welcomed me. I hadn’t actually expected you to notice my presence since no one else had, but you did. In fact, sometimes it felt like you were looking right at me. Waiting for me to say something to you and make myself known. So I decided to reveal myself to you last night since the others had already told you there was another ghost here anyway.”

I felt myself frown at his explanation, pondering his words until I remembered little things that had been happening around the house.

 Like how I would hear something in the hallway ever so often only to turn and not see anything. Or how one of the rocking chairs would be moving on the porch without a breeze and with no one else near it. And even how whenever I had felt lonely, I would suddenly feel as if there was someone with me even though I’d never seen anyone.

I had just passed it off as nothing of great importance; weird things had always happened at Ramshackle dorm. That was why so many students behaved like it was a scary place, even though I was living in it with very few problems now that I’d finally gotten it fully repaired from the state it had been in when I first came to Twisted Wonderland.

“So how long have you been here exactly?” I watched him closely, and he did something I wasn’t sure I’d ever see him do in life. He shrugged.

“Hard to say. Time isn’t really important after you die, so you don’t pay much mind to it,” He tilted his head once more, almost like he was thinking before he looked my way again. “I was here last time Kalim came and visited, though.”

That had been several months ago… He’d certainly been here longer than I would’ve guessed, but I wasn’t actually concerned about that. I trusted Silver to respect my privacy, even in death.

“Why didn’t you go with him when he suggested you go live with him?” Silver’s question startled me, causing me to turn in slight surprise. He looked honestly curious, though, and I supposed that was fair.

I lifted one shoulder in a half-hearted shrug before I began ticking off my reasons on my fingers, “Several reasons. Jamil doesn’t need someone else to take care of, it wouldn’t feel right to just live off of Kalim’s generosity, and I have everything I need here.”

I looked out one of the large windows as I continued, still feeling Silver’s gaze on me, “Despite what everyone thinks, I’m happy here. Ramshackle dorm has become home to me, and I’m not lonely. I’ve got Grim, the rest of the staff, the ghosts…” I trailed off briefly before looking towards Silver once more and smiling, “And I guess I’ve got you now too.”

He blinked at my words before he nodded, almost as if he liked the sounds of that, “Yes, I suppose you do.”

I continued to smile at him, relieved that he hadn’t been a dream at all, even as I felt myself slipping back into the same situation I’d been in all those years ago. Slowly liking Silver a little bit too much, even though so much had changed.

And in some ways, it freaked me out. That all it took was him appearing once more, even as a ghost, for me to fall back in love with him.

Back in the past, I’d fallen for him even before the overblot, but I’d passed it off as a crush. Of course I’d liked Silver. We hadn’t gotten to interact much before everything went down with Malleus, but Silver was always nice and had looked out for me like it was the most natural thing to do.

 When the overblot occurred, I’d actually gotten to truly know him, and it hadn’t solved the matter at all. In fact, it had made it worse. But again, I’d told myself  that it was just a crush and was because of the situation we were in. It was so stressful and dangerous; the fact he’d gone to such pains to protect me and make sure I was alright had just made my crush worse. That was all.

But now I didn’t have any such explanations to hide behind. And he wasn’t alive anymore, which made this even more distressing. I was in love with a ghost, and, despite what I’d told myself, I’d never gotten over Silver.

I let my hands twist together in my lap as I looked over at the young man, who was no doubt oblivious to the feelings zipping through me just as fast as the thoughts in my mind were swirling. “Yep, so I’m fine. Not lonely at all.” 

He tilted his head as he gazed at me, “So I can stay here?”

I blinked at him, flabbergasted by his words, before leaning forward, my hands pressing down onto the edge of my cushion, “Of course you can! I would never kick you out!”

I didn’t bother mentioning that I hadn’t even realized that had been an option. I didn’t want to give him the wrong impression, even if that were the case.

But as I looked at him, his gaze softened ever so slightly, and that fleeting but condemningly sweet smile of his appeared on his face, “Then I will stay here, with you, until you leave Y/n.”

His voice was soft and gentle as always, and in that moment I realized that while ghostly happenings were always occurring in and around Ramshackle dorm, I may never recover from this one.

Hmmm let's see.

Contrary to how the Caretaker is like in the house pet au, in the sanctuary au, they're a little more respectful. Since the pets are fully intelligent and can articulate quite clearly, it's easier to treat them as fully capable of taking care of their own things. Basically, they're more roommate like than anything, but they are somewhat limited due to their tiny size, so the Caretaker does have to grab them like the little stinkers they are to get stuff done. That and they haven't fully awakened their magical abilities, so there's that.

I used to be able to grab you in my hands. Used to have to clean up your rooms when all you little rascals refused to get along. Tiny little things, only needing some help and being unashamed to demand it, only for me to say "take care of your shit," when all of you thought you were my boss. Often I was tense, anticipating a change, waiting for your forms to suddenly get big and then I'd have to look into my savings to see if I could expand my house. Never once did I think you'd leave. I knew you were going to stick with me, no matter how much you complained. All I had to do was reach out and you'd still be in my hands. But now, well, you don't want to. You can't. Otherwise, clinging to my hand would've killed me too, back in those horrible houses.

Stream of consciousness writings! So yeah, some whiplash, along with regret, frustration at the fact they had to grow rather than it being a natural process.

As for the love you, no I don't think so. It can felt through actions, certainly, but to physically say I love you is...hard. And certainly gotten even harder when the Caretaker's mental health took a bigger hit from when the pets were gone. The apathy they feel when they're deep in their depressive episodes kinda just messed them up a bit, making them feel rather out of touch with their emotions. They're just going with the flow, not quite there but still going, so saying "I love you," would feel, not genuine. At least to the Caretaker. To casually throw around the word when they don't properly feel the emotional weight of them would be insulting. So, they can't say it. Instead, they'll let the pets come to their own conclusions about it.

And you're welcome, the Janitor au is certainly fun.

Welcome Home MedMurder AU!

I finally decided to make my own WH AU! It's an Eddie-centered Hospital AU but with a creepy twist. Let me tell you a little bit about the lore and characters! Please mind that it's a pretty new AU and many things might change!

• Eddie: admitted to a hospital after a terrible car crush. Due to the severity of his wounds he got his left arm amputated. Tries to solve the mystery of suspicious deaths of several other patients. Has a crush on Frank

• Frank: one of the doctors who works at the hospital. He takes care of Eddie during his recovery. Grumpy and serious, doesn't talk much. At first he thought Eddie was annoying but he warmed up to him after a while. Tries to keep his professional demeanor but everyone quickly notice that he might like Eddie back

• Wally: works as a doctor (surgeon) at the hospital, good friend with Frank. Likes to chat with his patients sometimes. Very good with kids. All the little patients like him a lot, because he knows how to make them laugh. Sometimes he gets repimanded by Frank as he can act a little bit too care free around patients

• Julie: friendly nurse that always make sure everyone has what they need. Likes gossip and often tends to talk a bit too much

• Sally: one of the patients, who's waiting for her heart surgery. Knows a lot of little details about the hospital staff, likes to sneak out of her room at night to steal snacks from vending machines and cafeteria. Constantly scolded by Frank when she tries to sneak some coffee to her room. Helps Eddie solve the mystery, intrigued by his suspicions

• Howdy: janitor at the hospital. He always makes sure that the place is clean and tidy. One day he overhears Eddie and Sally talking and decides to helps the gang solve the mystery of the hospital deaths. As a janitor he has keys to many places in the facility and knows the layout of every room by heart

• Poppy: serves food in the cafeteria. Caring and loving person, terrified by what's going on in the facility. Because of her cowardly nature she tends to make assumptions about (in her opinion) "suspicious individuals" in the hospital

• Barnaby: one of the patients, Wally's best friend. Loves to make pranks on others and telling scary stories. Used to work as a journalist and knows how to talk to people to make them say what he wants to hear

• Home: director of the hospital, rarely seen outside his office, no one knows much about them

The MO of the killer changes with every new death. They're highly intelligent and can get away with their crimes. At least they could until Eddie and his friends showed up.

I'm… I'm the only one left. All my friends…Sally…Frank… all of them, gone. And it's all my fault."

*crying can be barely heard over the static*

"I don't know how much time I have left. That darkness, the one I let out of the cracks, it got me too, and it'll eventually kill me, I know it."

*sigh*

"Worst part is I'm ok with that. But I figure, I guess something tells me, that as long as I'm alive I should make sure this never happens to anyone else."

This is the blog for Janitor, a Julie who looked too close into the cracks of her world and brought out something that never should've been seen. With her friends dead and home gone, she wanders the multiverse on a kind of "instinct", cleaning up dead worlds and resetting the ones that are lost beyond repair.

-FACTS-

Lives in an abandoned house in the woods, which she found after leaving the old neighborhood. Doesn't know how to find her way back from this place, and doesn't want to. Mondo depressed. Heavy smoker, and in general cares little for her own health & safety. Will viciously defend anyone she trusts enough to befriend though. Can no longer hear the flowers talking, it's all garbled static and screams now. Questions from others come through the little radio she found in the house, and which she keeps on her belt while traveling. Almost like it was put there just for her. As far as she knows, there's no one controlling her or telling her what to do. Her instincts guide her to wherever she needs to be. Self-taught surgeon/autopsy technician. Her methods are indelicate and sometimes brutal, but she tries her best.

Her left arm was horribly mangled by the initial corruption burst, leading to her needing to amputate it. She replaced it with the arm of her Barnaby as that was the only corpse left still intact enough to salvage.

Corruption continues to stick and spread though, and will likely eventually kill her. Is also hard of hearing on that side.

Keeps a few small mementos of her previous friends- a locket from Sally, a friendship bracelet from Frank, charms from all her siblings, and of course the arm.

Howdy Neighbors! Things have been very dark and sad around the Welcome Home community lately. Many AU creators are taking breaks in light of recent events! Which is perfectly reasonable. I hope everyone takes their Wallys out for a spa day! Put little cucumbers on their eyes and relax! Thats what we are doing here! I fortunately have very high constitution for nonsense and don't plan to step down or away, but please respect that not every AU creator/ WH content creator is this way during times like these!

I thought I would try to lighten the mood with more fun Onceler Wally and other facts about the AU as i work on more content!~

Wally is afraid of the dark and sleeping near windows. He has flashlights and batteries socked away everywhere around the factory due to being locked in his office while Home cut off electricity to just the office. He was never without flashlight batteries after that! You could probably ask him to shake his head, and batteries would fall out.

I asked him what Wally is short for and he said it was short for "wallet" and then laughed at me as he stole mine.

Wally is a great cook!!! Excellent cook, even!!! Can he follow recipes? Absolutely not. Don't even offer one! But is he an amazing cook nonetheless? Yes!! Yes he is. He can make any kind of pancake you can think of.

Sally Starlet is PR manager and Julie Joyful is the lead of social media and networking! She and Sally work closely together, and they often forget whose job is whose. The two ladies keep us all connected and hip with the kids while making sure we always look fresh for events!~

Eddie Dear is the lead janitor and groundskeeper! It is a big factory, and he takes his job very seriously! But not too seriously, of course. He is everyone's favorite coworker! He knows every inch of the factory almost as well as Wally does!

Frank Frankly is the head of accounting and billing! He's the man with the math! He knows the logistics and all the numbers! If you have a math question that needs answering or a bill that needs paying, Frank is your man!

Barnaby is fine :)

Howdy Pilliar and Poppy Partridge run the biggest, most extravagent bodega and bakery the neighborhood has ever seen! Poppy makes all sorts of baked goods and sweets and Howdy runs the bodega side of their shop! They are a dynamic set of coworkers!

Welcome Home OC - Sketches of Eric Hopper

I did do some sketches before these, but those were still in the makings (ish). Anyway!

Not sure when this happens or which verse, but probably more in my AU ‘Toons and Puppets’ (still need a name for that) of when during Eric was sent to uncover the hidden truths while interacting with other puppets like himself. He’d found Whiskers (who in this AU wasn’t a cast member) and they were discussing about Wally Darling and how he’s so different. Whiskers has a BAD feeling about Wally while Eric does admit there is something funny about Wally while ahem having a crush on Wally.

In the same AU Toon and Puppets, Eric would be part toon and part puppet somehow, being related to Momomu-n, Sakuraso’s friend/co-star partner in the show. Sakuraso happens to know Eric and is connected to him. She would tease him for liking the Puppet Boy. (Don’t know why, but I can see some rival between her and Wally. shrugs)

Now, this probably will be in the canon like verse (until further notice) of Eric Springs who kinda looks like Eric Hopper. Eric works as Janitor at the Playfellow Workshop, but he went missing and no one knew where he is. Before he’d disappeared, Eric loves puppets and took care of them with care, but he has a strange feeling he’s being watched...

Verse: Tale From Long Ago

Julian was born and raised in an earlier time period. (canon birthday 8/29/2341)

1951: Born in Britain during the cold war, it was obvious early on that Jules wasn't going to get the help he needed at any school the Bashirs could afford or would be welcomed at. Amsha tried her very best to tutor him intensively at home, but that wasn’t enough either. The Bashirs got Jules into a secretive program promising to make him a productive member of society. He was subjected to experimental drugs, torture, and abuse, and was used as free labor, all of which was somehow tied up in foreign espionage. When he got free from that and his parents, he became an assistant to a local doctor or veterinarian who otherwise took care of him.

1961: Julian was involved in supplememtaty experimentation for the Chrysalis Project. Although he wasn’t born an augment, his genetic code was altered. The experiment he was involved in was discarded as pointless as Julian was the only survivor of his group.

2001 (modern au): Julian's parents ensured he was in all the best programs and therapies to train him into acting normal and doing better academically. He was miserable. He ran away before finishing high school and eventually ended up working in a hospital as a janitor while taking community college classes to help him towards his GED.

2141: Julian was a product of illegal genetic engineering and subsequently left Earth to a colony outside of its influence with others like him.
