There are many things that disappointed me in genshin and a big one was the community's inability to look at characters normally. Compared to most games, everyone flat out ignored the story a lot unless they could make up ships and then that became the story to them.

Yeah it sucks. TBH tho, it's pretty normal for fandoms to be Pretty Weirdly Intense about ships/HCs, but its not helped by the fact that Genshin and HSR's characters aren't written normally.

For a long time, Genshin character writing was dropping lore/a bio and peacing out. In Mondstadt and Liyue, where most characters weren't even involved in the AQ (and others barely), it really did fall to HCs and picking out tiny context clues to figure out how characters acted and what their relationships with each other were like, so Genshin got really used to Building Their Own Story and even Build Their Own Version Of The Character around the scraps they were given.

And then I guess people got really attached to one set of headcanons over another and war broke out.

Thing is, I think Genshin is very happy with people caring so much about ships and seems to (intentionally or not) encourage them (in the laziest way possible). It's kind of a breeding ground for speculative shipping content;

Characters are sometimes first brought up in the context of their relationships with other characters (bios, voice lines) but not much info is given, so speculation is natural (and speculation about relationships most of all). Kaveh is the ultimate escalation of this.

Characters are sometimes intentionally 'paired' with another in some shape or form (some year one examples being Ningguang & Beidou, Jean & Lisa, Diluc & Kaeya, Xingqiu & Chongyun). Whether players interpreted these as platonic or romantic, these pre-set dynamics were an easy springboard to get into HEAVY speculative territory. In year 1 and 2, speculation was all a lot of players had LMAO

In the AQ and events, some characters do not have substantial interaction with anyone except one or two other playable characters, so people naturally focus on the pairs that did get interaction whatsoever. When people rarely talk, even small talk where not much happens feels Big.

HYV is definitely willing to dump pairs that aren't catching on in favour of more popular ones (Collei & Amber + Yan Fei & Eula -> Eula & Amber).

(Some characters seem to be intended to be 'paired' with the Traveler though. You know the ones.)

Some of these 'pairs' are intentional bait to fans of similar pairs from previous HYV games - Yae & Ei, Bronya & Seele, and an argument can be made for the superficial similarity Aventurine & Dr Ratio have with explosively popular Kaveh and Alhaitham. And then you get arguments about 'well if they're BASED on this character then.........' which probably seems like a more substantial starting point for those kinds of arguments than I've seen elsewhere...

And then there's shit like Black Swan and Acheron's trailer + the fact that besides you, they barely talked to anyone else (Acheron & Welt was pure exposition). Obviously one seems more interesting, even if (imo) it's still pretty superficial.

Pairing this with how much or little content/info you actually get, for people that are more inclined to care about the characters, it's pretty easy to slide into speculative territory even if what most characters get are breadcrumbs. (e.g. you know Kaeya and Diluc's falling out in exhaustive detail, but what are things like between them now? What were they like before? What's Kaeya's deal with Khaen'riah, how would his friends react??? etc etc. It took awhile for those questions to start to be answered!)

And if you're invested/want answers, what else are you meant to do during content droughts??? By the time the character drops/the story is revealed you've invented a whole new thing in your head already!

This isn't to say Genshin is a unique phenomena or anything and people are crazy about ships everywhere (I've seen similar things happen in other 'bare bones' media I stumble into) but Genshin seems really well equipped to breed it. Does feel like people give HYV too much credit for stuff they didn't actually do, though. Sometimes feels like HYV just drops a prompt instead of a story.

LMAO that Star Rail got to that point already though. I didn't think it was as bad about this as Genshin.

SOME ISSUES (and THOUGHTS) THAT I NEED TO ADDRESS:

I still don’t get the reason why Prof. Saiga and Prof. Stronskaya made the paper. What are they aiming with that? Did I miss something? And conflict coefficient is too much like crime coefficient. This is personal reason, but honestly conflict coefficient is much more reasonable than Sybil. At least, they don’t judge based on how cloudy people are.

I like Saiga and Kougami relationship, and for once we get to see Kougami use Keigo.

No hate, but idk some people debate over Kougami calling Frederica by her name. Akane also called her like that too, except she always use -san, like she did with Shion-san. Kougami also address Shion with her name and nothing happen. He’s just comfortable with both of them, I think. (idk how close they were, need novel)

Why Azusawa never appear on this movie? I thought since we don’t know anything about him in PP3 we somehow have explanation in PPP, with Shindou especially. Well, I despise PP3 anyway, pls don’t ask me why. I appreciate PP staff work tho.

I find it funny Kougami act childish in this scenes:

He clearly keep his distance from Akane and div 1 after he and Akane’s convo late night call, even Saiga asked him. He only dare to look at her face again after their body almost exploded with c4, meanwhile Akane from the first time act as if nothing happen. Nice writing, I guess.

Until PPP, I think so many characters have died. And their death is almost have no meaning nor progress to the story (yet with Saiga’s case). PP is dystopian anime, I get it, the story is dark and tragic, I get it, but why they shown so many death after s1? No, it’s not meaningless, it’s actually create situation or drama (for ex Sugo killed Aoyanagi), but not with audience. They don’t make us fully feel related or attachment to the character, but suddenly they’re gone. (like entire div 3 on PP2.) This is just personal opinion, but Saiga’s death is kind of ashamed, they shouldn’t just kill him as a mere bait for Peacebreaker, it’s too bad. There’s so much potential to his character in the future instalment if they ever make one  :’(

Akane running away to fallen Saiga is kinda throw me off. Why not help Kougami or Frederica first? This is out of character. The old Akane would never.

I like that Akane bursts in front of Kougami in elevator scene. When it’s just the two of them, she actually lower her wall because in my case, I never want to cry in public or in front of strangers. Well, she cried near the fountain holo before though, but you get the point.

I HATE that Tonami has low CC. In s1, we only learn that people with low CC can’t even commit crimes except being asymptomatic, and suddenly this new villain who basically terrorist has clear hue just because he feel sympathy to low life and wants fairness for them (cmiiw). He kill people for God’s sake! This shows inconsistence of writing and will create plot hole in the future. And for Akane’s case, I tolerate it probably because Kasei isn’t actually human.

Akane is so strong, she has been shot twice by Tonami, yet she can speak clearly, even sit. Meanwhile we can find waver in Kougami’s voice on that call (he only get one bullet on his thigh.)

I find this interesting.

Akane is NOT aware that Tonami is about to shoot her. If she knows, would she see Kougami’s sin differently? But after much thought, I think it’s still wouldn’t change a thing, because she wants to arrest Tonami. But dude, Kougami shoots because he can’t lose her, if he shoots his leg or hand or whatever, anything could happen and Akane would’ve been died. If I were him, I’ll shoot his head also without hesitation. I wonder if she understand that she’s at stake.

I feel like they say it jokingly all the time as part of the flirty thing they have going on. Hawkeye probably has no problem saying it in more serious contexts but I could see Trapper as being less of a words guy, more touch/acts of service/quality time. He might say it in a fit of passion tho ;) This is fine for them. I don't think Hawkeye needs to hear it too often.

I think it's the same for both of them about the other - shared values. Namely: compassion, playfulness and sincerity. I think Trapper is probably charmed by Hawkeye's razor sharp wit too.

9. What do they dislike most about the other? Why? I can't think of anything too serious. Hawkeye can be a slob compared to Trapper, it caused their only fight. I could see that causing some tension in a shared living situation. Hawkeye about Trapper... i think Trapper might be a smidge more grounded than Hawkeye. We never saw that cause problems between them on screen but maybe it would have, similar to how BJ will sometimes rib Hawkeye for being outlandish but yk, more playful than BJ ever was about it.

I mostly see Daniel as staying out of Hawkeye's love life and I don't vibe with fics that have him being overly involved or forthcoming with his thoughts on Hawkeye's lovers, regardless of the ship. I feel it would almost need to be that way if Hawkeye's with a man in the 50s. I also have a hard time seeing them (Hawk/Trap in this case) living in the same home as Daniel if they're together postwar, they'd need their own space, but they'd probably come back for holidays. Trapper and Daniel are both doctors and they also both strike me as reserved in comparison to Hawkeye, so they might quietly vibe. Fun thing I noticed on rewatch, when Hawkeye does the recording to send to his father, Trapper calls him "Dad" lol, cute. Foreshadowing, even...

I am less optimistic about Trapper's family. I don't see them as being accepting of Trapper being gay/bi - I think he'd quietly divorce Louise, see his kids on weekends and stay mum about his relationships. Not uncommon for the time period. Maybe once Kathy and Becky are older they come to understand who "Uncle Hawkeye" really is to their dad.

I've found the Pop Unmuted episode and listened to it. What a moment in time to have captured - April 2016 was such a key moment of transition. The idea that fans believed that Louis' wasn't Freddie's father had gone mainstream and suddenly everything was being talked about much wider, but in a way that ended up making these conversations much more difficult to have.

Her being nice was the bare minimum 😭 Im just sayin was she really all that different from Jigen in terms of their relationship really? its so underdeveloped in the manga that she literally only provided the bare minimum Jigen did but was nice about it & thats it. If the only difference between her and Jigen is that she was nice to him you know theres a serious problem with how their relationships been depicted up till this point because think about it, really think about it and you’ll realize how nonexistent their relationship is outside of feeding and sheltering him, the bare minimum Jigen did.

Its ironic that Jigen was actually the one being realistic and was right, at the end of the day Kawaki didnt matter as much as his sons safety cuz he done said fk the village atp but yea, crazy how Jigen ended up bein the one in the right, still baffles me till this day.

Jigen was right about Kawaki being monitored, it wasnt through the arm tho, but through the cohabitation with Ada, Sasuke called it glorified house arrest and Naruto admitted that was the case. They were monitoring him because they see him as a threat now, an outsider, someone they must keep under their control.

There really is no place for Kawaki at Konoha and he indeed was being used, they used him as bait to make Ada leave Code, used him to keep Ada happy at Konoha because thats what she wanted, literally considering giving Kawaki’s karma to Amado on the slim chance it’ll bring his dead daughter back and says its ‘none of their business’. Remember in chapter 26 Kawaki accused Naruto of using him as bait to lure Kara? ironic how true that ended up being.

Key thing to note here, “What did I do to earn this?” this dialogue is important, because it points out how unfair the situation is and how he’s being manipulated/used for Konoha’s benefit because Shikamaru [and Naruto] knows how much he cares for the village and Naruto.

This is where Jigen is most right, Naruto is a cowardly Hokage just like if not worse than Hiruzen, Naruto doesnt even care about the safety of the village anymore, he only cares about his son.

And whats even sadder is Jigen didnt totally lie when he said hes the only one doing anything truly for his sake, because at the end of the day nothing being done right now is for Kawaki’s sake, but being done TO Kawaki for EVERYONE ELSES sake, Boruto’s especially.

Atleast for Jigen even tho it was really for Isshiki’s own sake, he atleast never tried to hide that his intentions were selfish, he never tried to make Kawaki feel warm or loved or wanted, he was creepy and manipulative since day one and tormented Kawaki relentlessly, but at the end of the day thats honestly better than being given all that warmth, love, kindness etc that Naruto gave him only to betray him and use him in all the ways Jigen said anyway by taking advantage of Kawaki’s attachment now.

Thats actually a worse and more grimey thing to do, its a tactic often used in abusive relationships, they are nice and kind to earn your trust often getting you to marry them and then they show their true colors once they have you locked in, thats essentially what Naruto did to Kawaki.

You can argue that wasnt the intent which ok fine lets say it wasnt, but thats exactly what he ended up doing anyway so intent doesnt matter here, he still proved Jigen right in the end and the sad part is Kawaki STILL sees Naruto in a positive light and wants to protect him, he doesnt even realize how his trust and affection for him has been betrayed and manipulated and thats whats most sad about it.

I dunno if this is ever gonna be addressed because honestly when is anything ever addressed in this sequel? most likely it wont be because they cant have NAruto be seen as the ‘bad guy’ even though they’ve gone out of their way to paint him as just that, but refuse to follow through by calling it out [other than Jigen and Sasuke]

I dunno, its just sad to know the only one who really kept it real with Kawaki, as scummy of a pos Jigen was, he atleast kept it real with him from start to finish, Naruto and his wife didnt.

Idk why Frederica,Kougami and Tenzing’s found family dynamic in SS case 3 was very interesting for me.Frede very much served as the matriarch of their own ragtag family.She has an extremely nunaced grip on Kougami’s personality as well(after all she’s the one who made him come back to Japan) and is very much capable of keeping up with him.Ever since the FI manga extra I feel like writers have an inclination to build up the relationship more(If you compare Frederica’s approach to Sugo and Kougami you can clearly tell she’s very much interested in Kougami).It wouldn’t need any buildup.Just a little confirmation and they can be a thing(unlike koukane who they have refused to lean into for years).Shiotani has already expressed his interest for a MOFA SAD spin off multiple times and it has a good chance of happening considering Kougami’s popularity.If that ends up happening I can easily see them working out.Like Japanese Batman and Catwoman hah!I used to have a diligent passion for koukane but I have made peace with the fact it has become stagnant and their ideologies would never converge.It would be great to let them both move on with their respective love interests and stop ship baiting.

Oooooooooooooook, I agree to an extent. I've previously and many times said that I Kourica? Fredegami? however we do want to name their "ship" is my guilty pleasure. The problem is that even if everybody on the high floors says that Shinkane is only platonic, senpai/kouhai, or whatever, the tension exists. Their bond exists. For the sake of uprightness, I must say that, or Shiotani-sensei is very bad at writing romance (and yet, we have Kunikara, Kei and Maiko, even the hints of Karina and Arata, Mao and Kei, and the more explicit Irie's feelings for Mao again, but I should add Sugo's friend and her husband from Case 2, just to say, and sorry if I'm forgetting other) or, simply, everything is in the realm of "better keeping the status quo because things should get worse next installment and we need the characters to be focused and not distracted by romance"... I'm more for the second, actually. Now, I agree with everything you say about Case 3, but even if Frederica's approach is definitely more personal regarding Kou than regarding Gino and Sugo... mhhhh... Kougami is the one: 1) totally oblivious to feelings (he wasn't even able to figure out why Akane wanted from him in PPP, nor, in Frederica's case, able to read her in Case 3 novel); 2) uninterested in love or romance (season 1: Kougami was revenge!driven; case 3: see above; season 3: brooding, constantly p*ssed off, his only goal was to free Akane from jail); 3) there's the possibility (but unless there is an official confirmation, I would take it with a grain of salt) that he's not attracted by women... That's why I think that everybody has the right to ship or to want the characters they love with everyone they want, as long as there is respect for the ones who think differently. Should Shinkane happen I'd be the happiest person in the world, but after all, all that they need is happiness and freedom before everything (also, considering what kind of existence they live), then we'll see. If Fredegami or Shizuaka tho should happen... well, to me, they're both quite a guilty pleasure, so I'm totally fine with it! 🤭

what kinda problems does tma have? i haven’t finished listening to the whole thing yet but i don’t mind spoilers. asking because i wanted to gauge if it’s something i haven’t gotten to yet or something i’ve missed!

full disclosure i haven't actually finished listening to it, I still need to pick up again after s3 but I've listened up till then

also spoilers below for anyone planning on listening to it!

anyway, tma is overall a VERY good podcast and especially in the horror genre, its incredibly well written and effective and genuinely fucking scary and unsettling, and manages to do that without using misogyny or homophobia/transphobia as a device to achieve the sense of dread you get in pretty much every episode. that being said there's a few instances of casual (unintended) racism, such as episode 72 which has a case of anti-chinese racism where the villain is a Chinese cannibal that owns a takeaway shop. that is the most blatant example I remember, there are likely others I have missed because I am white and these things go over my head, but if other people remember better than I do I encourage them to respond to this!

in terms of other problems, to be honest I think what I'm talking about is just my engagement with the show - namely Daisy Tonner. she's a police detective who gets involved with the main cast during s2 and is an avatar of the hunt, sometimes headcanoned by fans as being werewolf like in nature. she's not a nice person, nasty and blunt and rude and brutal, and there are several instances in the show where she kills others and justifies it with reasoning ranging from 'suspected to be a vampire' to 'my boss told me to'. she's violent and cruel and her morality is tied to the law, in that she takes the orders she's given and works to uphold an unjust system based on her perception of other people as a threat, and this comes out in almost every interaction she has with anyone, especially jon, the main character. at one point she kidnaps him and holds him at knifepoint in the woods, fully intending to kill him, before something stops her (its been a while since I've listened to it I can't quite remember what gfjkds).

as a character i fucking adore her. i love female characters who are actually seriously vicious and cruel and horrible people and allowed to be awful, the narrative doesn't shame them for their personality. to me daisy means a lot and I see a lot of myself in her horrible attitude and nasty demeanour (take that as you will ghjfdksl).

but i can't deny that she's a cop and comes with everything that entails. she's suspicious of everyone, she threatens legal action that she can take, and failing that threatens violent action instead, sometimes acting on it. she's part of a group that works to protect their own and target suspects for their own personal agenda rather than any actual sense of 'justice'. as much as I love her for being a female character with bite and attitude, she is like that for a reason. she's also incredibly emotionally dependent on Basira, her coworker-turned-magnus-archives-employee. their relationship is quite homoromantic but its never confirmed as actually romantic or anything because fuck cops, lesbians or not.

(if you're worried about queerbaiting in the show tho, don't, I promise there's none, because no one ever advertised the show as being queer friendly/having canon queer relationships so they literally didn't bait anyone at all, and people who say that don't actually know what queerbaiting means)

i love daisy as a character and I do think she is a very interesting exploration of police institutions, especially with the lens of the hunt and the horror that all that entails, I think its very well done as horror literature. but there's a reason people hate her and it'd be unfair of me to not warn you of the kinds of things she does in the show, in case that's upsetting for you.

in terms of the actual show content, trigger warnings range from gore, body horror, insects, depression, mental health, paranoia, unreality, and many more, and various times they intersect with instances of marginalised characters that don't come across as well-intentioned as the creators probably wanted.

this is a list of trigger warnings by episode (all 200 of 'em) and is generally good for checking if you can listen to the episode, especially the earlier seasons, because it wasn't until about s4ish that they started including trigger warnings for really graphic things in the episode introductions.

this is a folder of transcripts of all the episodes, which I personally found helpful when starting the show. i'd often read transcripts and if I could handle that, id listen to the episode (until I binged half of s1 in a week and got used to the general sense of dread the show gave me and after that I just dived in lmao).

thats mostly what i talk about in terms of bad - the show is good, so good, but it is a tragedy and it is horror and it has some horrendous people, some of which will be worse than others, and being horror it's gonna upset you in some areas. tread with caution, look at the trigger warnings and transcripts if you need to, and maybe avoid the fandom for the most part, it was not very pleasant when the show was airing, but overall, this series is so good and I do gladly recommend it to anyone looking to branch into horror. i think if you follow me and enjoy the same things I do you won't regret giving tma a shot ^^

Starting with Jealous Mon, we know she gets very power-hungry and overall hungry whenever anyone gets too close to Sam for her liking. Despite whatever Sam may say, getting through to Mon is difficult and she can become intense. I see Sam pulling Mon into her lap after a significant amount of pouting and some ignoring to try and break down her wife's walls. She'll put some kisses here and there on Mon's face, but Mon will shrug it off because she doesn't want to imagine Sam doing that to anyone else. Sam will likely try to ask her about what's on her mind, knowing that a straight answer out of Mon is dicey. Then she’ll try to coax Mon into talking a bit more, but at this point, all Mon can focus on is Sam’s mouth on her. So, in an attempt to keep and boast her control, she orders Sam to fuck her there exactly how Mon tells her to. I feel like Mon would make it sound like Sam is just Mon’s tool to get off while making sure that Sam knew that it was more than that. She would pull Sam onto her, whether that be moving Sam’s lips to her neck or getting the pair onto a couch and situated under her wife. Sam will indulge whatever Mon wants because, as we know, she runs the relationship. She’d probably be happy to be touching Mon and getting some kind of response out of her. Once she sees Mon getting more into it, as she begins to slowly dissolve into moans and shifty hands, Sam may attempt to take things her route. That will be met with a strict grab from Mon or a curt command that gets Sam back into line. Mon will make sure to shower Sam with praise and encourage her to be rougher, and delighted if/when Sam leaves marks. Stroking Sam’s ego will have her fully under Mon’s control until she feels satisfied and reassured that Sam is hers, and only hers. 

Strap Sam is known to be crazy because of how being in Mon is Sam’s favorite thing. (aka what she likes better than kissing Mon) Normally, it’s her time to take control (or so she thought it would be initially) and drive Mon to ecstasy. Mon, however, has other plans by essentially playing with Sam until she is completely under her thumb. It’s cute how easily she can get Sam to listen to her with the drop of her lips or fluttering eyelashes. Sam falls for it every time and becomes nearly entranced, taking Mon’s every wish as her command. She normally starts slow and picks up the pace as Mon’s grip on her tightens. The nail marks on her shoulders and across her back provide the perfect instruction and reassurance that Mon wants this. She follows her wife’s every sound, asking if she feels good, nearly coming every time Mon tells her how nice she feels inside her. At that point, Mon’s pleasure is her pleasure and the last thing on Sam’s mind is how she, herself, is. This goes on for a while, mostly because Mon also likes to tease, but ends with them finishing multiple times. 

I’m grouping Boss Mon and oral fixation because they fit well in the scenario. Similar to the fic I posted a bit ago, Boss Mon is a total tease. More than Mon herself, Boss Mon wants to see the limits Sam will go for her. It’s a silly but exhilarating thing because Sam would do anything for her. Throw in the prospect of being able to worship Mon’s body, and Sam was unstoppable. Boss Mon uses the Cham Cham card to get Sam’s full attention and pliability before using the absolute fuck out of it. She will dangle the opportunity of taking off her clothes and having her mouth on every part of Mon in front of Sam like bait. Sam can’t resist. (honestly, who could?) She’d practically beg and do whatever possible to get Mon naked and underneath her. This is where the Cham Cham card comes to play. I feel like Mon, on a day that she’s feeling REALLY adventurous, would call Sam Cham Cham for the lip bite and then tell her that she bit the wrong lips. This would create a back-and-forth of Sam just confused and kissing all over Mon before she understands. From there, it would be akin to ep. 9 2/4 where Mon essentially devoured Sam but switched and Sam would be more gentle. Well, she’d stay gentle until about 10 minutes in when Mon’s grip on her hair tightens and her legs get shaky. All bets are off after that. Cham Cham also bites, most definitely, and will do it without a second thought when she sees how much it turns on Mon. Mon is like Sam’s canvas to be painted with marks and hickeys, all at her wife’s glorious request. After all, Boss Mon gives the orders in that household. 

No one knows Mon’s schedule better than Sam. They work together the most on projects with Mon being the admin of several projects, and Sam being the final reviewer of all content and business decisions in their sect of Diversity. That’s why she can see when her wife will be slammed (figuratively) with work and saddled with exhaustive amounts of responsibility. Here kicks in the service top, ready to alleviate all tension and stress at the drop of a hat. Sam is a serial cuddler when stressed, but Mon prefers a different type of release. She doesn’t say it, but Sam can read her wife and no one else. (That she’s been told by her friends many times) As the boss, she has an endless list of bullshit reasons to pull Mon into her office. Sure, anytime she calls for Mon Yha gives her a knowing smirk over the phone, but that was to be ignored. Mon would normally walk in with her slow stroll, fingers rubbing her temple or eyes fixed on Sam. Her wife made things feel better, but there were few ways to exponentially decrease the weight of her pending work. Luckily, Sam had one trick locked and loaded. With a gentle grasp and deft tug, Sam directed Mon to the couch and seated herself next to her wife. Days where Mon had dressed in a skirt or dress were easier, but Sam was willing to do whatever it took. With many kisses pressed into Mon’s forehead and across her face, Sam relaxes Mon into her side. Thus begins the journey of getting Mon to stop stressing. She starts by escalating the kisses down to Mon’s neck and firmly planting her hands on Mon’s face and thigh. Sam uses her lunch break for this so that Mon has no need to rush back to her work. She feels the anxiety melt out of Mon as she gives herself into Sam’s loving touch and attention. Sam intentionally teases the Mon to the edge to get her to voice what she wants. Enough back-and-forth earns her locked eyes and a hand moving Sam’s fingers to where Mon wants them. On Mon’s instruction, Sam will rub a gentle pattern over her clit and keep her fingers in place for Mon to ride. Other days, Sam with move her hand with vigor, filling Mon to the point of near brainlessness. She makes sure to ask Mon of her permission and encouragement every so often, needing to have her wife’s full support. Mon looks ethereal to Sam in these moments and she often has to pinch herself afterwards. Seeing Mon so deliciously vulnerable for her makes Sam’s heart beat between her legs. Sam will kiss every inch of Mon’s face, neck, and arms in hopes of keeping Mon grounded. Mon will finally five in and take advantage of everything that Sam is offering, telling her amid kisses and biting her hand to muffle the sounds exactly how to take Mon apart. Sam will do that until she comes and then immediately switch to aftercare. Mon just gets fully taken care of.

Finally, we have the roleplaying queens. This is akin to the Boss Mon thing because we know Sam loves to give up the control to Mon when she’s in front of her like that. I feel like, along with that, she would tease Sam with a “you’re so good at listening” and watch Sam run circles around her. She would let Sam have what she wanted in being able to touch and be in Mon in any capacity, but keep all the control. Sam is just happy to be there, and to have her gorgeous wife there with her. → LOL THE END (i may have more in the future but that would likely be given a specific scenario) <3

Ok so Maxwell is my go to dnd character, tho I've never gotten to play more than a few different sessions with him

The IDEAL backstory for him is that he's a teifling from an island of. I won't say MOSTLY tieflings but there's a relatively high population of them, all things considered. He has a human father and tiefling mother. His mother passed away when he was younger, and he's always kinda had a rough relationship with his dad- who is a blacksmith- because they have different ideas about what a "suitable" lifestyle is. Mostly because Max is a rogue thief. He doesn't steal from his people tho (i.e. the people on his island) and most of his thievery does go back to people he cares about (not like Robin hood tho, but like. He's not TOTALLY selfish). Eventually when his dad realizes Max 100% will never be a blacksmith like him, he takes on an apprentice named Arthur and Arthur and Max get along really well. Like really well, if you know what I mean. And Arthur inspires Maxwell to go out and explore more, kinda prove himself you know? And Max's main goal at present is to get enough saved up so that he can make a life for him and Arthur, however they want it to be :)

He's a lil shit though. I would compare him to a lizard. He's snarky and goal oriented and doesn't like to be slowed down, but that doesn't make him a loner (I mean, someone has to be the bait and it won't be him). His moral compass aligns more towards "only the people I care about matter" but he can become defensive of others pretty quickly if he deems them worthy of it. He's very much a "steal from people who have excess" kind of guy and doesn't give his own possessions away lightly... but he is not immune to people in need (after all, his mother's passing could've been prevented if they had just a little bit more access to the things they need...)
