I have another one for the lmk music recommendations, and I feel like I should apologize because it's Linkin Park... But. Listen:
"Breaking the Habit"
I don't want to be the one
The battles always choose
'Cause inside I realize
That I'm the one confused
I don't know what's worth fighting for
Or why I have to scream
But now I have some clarity
To show you what I mean
I don't know how I got this way
I'll never be alright
So, I'm breaking the habit
I was a certain age in the 00's and that music holds parts of my soul hostage still
I grew up with Linkin Park, so it has my respect!
Anyways "I don't want to be the one the battles always choose" FUCK DUDE.
Very "If it could just stay this way, forever? That would be awesome." "Yeah well...forever's a long time bud." ; "Do you ever just wish that things would stay like this? Like they are right now?" "Pssshhhkkk, where's the fun in that?" core
Thank you for sharing!

I am re-watching Moon Knight in full for the first time since I saw the last episode.
Watching it with a friend who has never seen it. The info dumping is REAL. I've been waiting over a YEAR to explain these things to someone. You don't understand.
I'm going full Autistic Special Interest people.
It's about to be your problem.
Special thank you to everyone in this fandom that has spent SO much time compiling all the information, the screen shots, the DETAILED BREAK DOWN OF STEVEN'S ROOM. The Jewish content, the play by play DETAILS. I love you all.
Now to weaponize it and drag my friend down into my special little Moon Knight hell.

Willing Well II: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
Okay so like what if what if - anyway I got enough of the thought out of my brain to focus on the story proper now. Who knows if this will make it into the final cut chapters upon chapters from now but it refused to leave my brain until I got it out.
Tomáš held her in his arms, heart pounding from fear to the realization that they were both fine–they had survived.
And despite himself, and despite everything else, he couldn't help but grin and pull back, looking back at Cassan. "We survived," he said, stating the obvious.
Cassan glanced around, as if to visually confirm what she was sensing. "Yeah, I guess we did," she said. Her smile was less certain, but she still looked and sounded relieved. Her eyes flickered down to his lips then back to meeting his eyes.
Tomáš pulled her close again, their first kiss being anything but what he had expected it to be–as if he had expected there to ever be one in this life. But in the remains of a battlefield–he wasn't sure if that was what Cassan would have wanted, but whether or not it was didn't matter at this point with how tightly she held onto him.
He hadn't been one for romance books. So he didn't know what the feelings they described were supposed to be. Yet Tomáš knew that a pain in his chest wasn't what he was supposed to feel. As his eyes fluttered open, he froze in horror at the shattered vision–as if he was looking through a broken TV screen.
Cassan froze in his arms, her own eyes flying open.
Tomáš felt his fingers twitch and dig into her arms. Then he heard the Enenra let out a piercing howl, as if it had been stabbed.
Tomáš felt a pair of strong hands grab him and he watched a pair of brown hands grab Cassan. They were pried apart, but Tomáš could see in the jagged glass of his new sight show there were Cassans who were not pulled away in time, red washing out the sigh of that world before going black.
He could feel himself shaking as the grip became cold.
"Tomáš," Bi-Han snapped. "Focus–look at me."
Tomáš could barely move as the shaking grew worse. He felt Bi-Han turn him around to face him, and in the blurring sky, Tomáš thought he saw the sky crack further and each bit of glass took on a new color. He could smell blood and rot.
"You idiot," Bi-Han hissed, clutching the back of Tomáš's neck with one hand and shoulder with the other. "You didn't think you could keep that thing in check, did you?" Fear pinched his voice.
Tomáš swallowed.
"It–if I kept the rest of it from you, then" his voice was growing raspier and the Enenra was beginning to weaken. He could feel something else start to fill the cracks the Enenra once filled.
Bi-Han's eyes widened in horror. "You idiot," he said again, but with less anger. "If you won't give it up, then I'm taking it from you."

Tongues and Teeth
The year had taken its toll. Hanzo had learned things he shouldn’t have, and he had kept it a closely guarded secret the whole time, not once sharing it with even Tomáš.
And he had to sit back and read with a growing dread the news. First Tomáš dreaming of a woman. Then finding she was real. And then he would meet her soon…
Hanzo felt as if he would burst into flames with every possible emotion running through him at full strength. He wanted to be happy, but he couldn’t. He wanted to greet Tomáš with joy and assure the man he was welcomed back to his home.
Yet instead all he could think were the cold and harsh things he wanted to say. As if hurting Tomáš would make him leave Hanzo. Instead, it would make Tomáš want to move closer and make sure Hanzo was okay. Which just made Hanzo feel all the more justified in what he could say. She’s a terrible thing; her teacher is a murderer; she is uneducated and unskilled; she will bring nothing but pain—surely Liu Kang had a reason for keeping her away from Tomáš all these years? And it was only by a random chance they found each other—no other possible reason.
Of course the same could be said back to Hanzo. There was a reason for Liu Kang making him have such forbidden feelings. To be tortured by a love he could never acquire or feel. And to be with a family he was now estranged with spiritually.
