Nothing makes me more insane than thinking about how different goultard is about crying in dofus and in wakfu.

How, in dofus, his emotions were so overpowering and uncontrollable that all he could do was cry it out and ask for arty to hold him through it, asking for arty to comfort him, depending on him for emotional regulation

And in wakfu, centuries later, tristepin's never really seen him cry. Goultard says he doesn't cry, but that if he ever really had to, he would hide to do it. But he does still cry.

I truly dont think he's doing better. I truly dont think he's gotten better at handling his emotions. I think he's just gotten better at hiding them.

If you were to host a blacklight party in the taxidermy wing of a natural history museum, most of the mammals would fit right in with their eerie fluorescent glow. That's what Kenny Travouillon, the curator of mammalogy at the Western Australian Museum, found when his team shone ultraviolet light on 125 species of mammal in the collection. The luminous effect wasn't restricted to platypuses and wombats, which were identified as biofluorescent species a few years ago. Every species of mammal they examined emitted a green, blue, pink, or white hue under UV light. The inside of a red fox's pointy ears turned shocking, fluorescent green. The polar bear lit up like a white t-shirt under a blacklight, as did the zebra's white stripes and the leopard's yellow fur. The wings of the orange leaf-nosed bat became a stark white skeleton, while its fur glowed pink. And the ears and tail of the greater bilby shone "bright like a diamond," as Travouillon described in 2020. The study showed that fluorescence is present in half of mammalian families, almost all clades, and in all 27 orders.

Headcanons: Nicknames Junkrat & Cassidy Would Call You

A/N: i was gonna write more but couldn't be bothered to lmao, lmk if you do want more of these

Word Count: 523 Warnings / Other Notes: like the teensiest bit of suggestiveness in Cassidy's part but its like extremely tame

Cassidy:

Starting off strong, one of Cassidy's most frequent nicknames for you would be ol' reliable itself, "darling".

He just love the way it tends to make you stop in your tracks and turn to him with a shy expression. Cassidy also thinks it's funny to fluster you with it at the most inopportune times.

You'd be leaving the house but stop in your tracks as you hear him call to you.

"Darlin'~.... where's my goodbye kiss?" He'd ask with his brow raised slyly.

With a bashful laugh and a shake of your head, you trot over to accept his request.

As soon as Cassidy pulled you closer by a soft tug at your hip, it was safe to say you were going to end up staying home instead of going out that afternoon.

If he's feeling a bit more cheesy on any random day, I feel like Cass would call you "honeybun".

"It's a name as sweet as you, honeybun!~" He'd tease with a drawl of the end of the moniker.

"You're such a dork!" You'd giggle as he wraps you in a hug and spins you in the air.

And lastly, I believe that Cole's favorite nickname for you is simply "my angel".

It's typically said first thing in the morning, as you're greeted with the sight of him lovingly staring down at your sleepy form when you first open your eyes.

When he notices you're now awake, he'd place a gentle kiss upon your forehead before pulling you into his chest.

"There's my angel! How'd ya sleep?" He'd mutter in your ear as you look up to him.

You sigh happily before responding with "Absolutely perfect!" and place a soft kiss to his lips, making him grin in reply.

Junkrat:

I don't know why, but I feel like Junkrat's main nickname for you would be "firefly". It just feels right.

For example, You'd be peacefully making something for lunch when he sneaks up behind you and throws himself across your shoulders.

"Whatcha cookin' there, firefly? It smells right good!" Junk would say, placing his chin on your shoulder.

"Your favorite! Now, scooch! I don't want you to make me burn it like last time!

Jamison would absolutely call you "muffin" too. Sometimes at the wrong times.

Like the time he set fire to your couch, you were about to scold him when he mumbled a "Sorry, muffin." with an apologetic look on his face.

You then found yourself unable to do it, telling him not to do it again and walking away with a furious blush on your face.

He knew exactly what he was doing with that one, smirking as your giddy form scurried out of sight.

Finally, Junkrat would call you "lil' bilby" because he thinks you're just as cute as the little animals themselves.

"Oh, thank god, you're back! Where'd ya go off too?"

"To the store! I got us snacks!"

"Oh, hell yeah! See, stuff like this is why I love ya, you lil' bilby!"

He'd quickly pull you & the snacks into his arms as the two of you begin to settle in for a relaxing night together.

I AM.” she starts throwing punches with both fists at his bicep, an excuse to get her anger out on him. “cutely, hmmm? then i better not take anymore drinks of the strawberry juice to not be shitty faced.” leaning forward, she’s sticking the tip of her tongue in the liquid. it’s not a sip, it’s a dip. “oh, shut the hell up. he wasn’t a loser. that’s mean, and jealous soundin’, when you don’t even know him. i never ignored you. oh, i think i do remember me wavin’ at you. so you’re a bald faced liar sayin’ ‘i IGNORES you’.. i IGNORRRED you. no i ain’t.” doe eyes roll, mimicking his voice and feeling fiercely firm about how she’s not the one in the wrong. “you’re the one been doin’ all the ignorin’ all the time.” because he decided to ignore changing a better attitude if he really wanted to be with her, he didn’t do that though so he didn’t care enough to turn into a better person for her. “yeahhh, mhm darlin’, maybe i’m just into girls. maybe i should try it for a few seconds, jus’ to make sure i ain’t.” she laughs, instead of answering what river did to put the final knife into her desire for anymore relationships. “yeah, WHO CARES.” finally agreeing with something he says, who cares because her love life isn’t even relevant to him. “we’re gettin’ ANOTHER bon song! ‘course i’m dancin’ with you, this might be our only chance with a bon song,” she excitedly turns, gently squeezing his jaw before slipping out of her seat when his hands on her wrist and hip tug her in his direction. throwing her small crossbody purse over her neck to take with her before boots hit the ground, taking his hand and running to the dance floor. letting his hand go once they find an emptier spot between all the other couples so she can start hopping around, one hand going to her sunglasses to hold them on her face.

“welllll,” voice trails off in a squeaky way, “i’m not really sure, you’re a dinopillar now. STILL very much a dinosaur though, so don’t get that wrong. mmkay?” lucy gray giggles, pointing a short finger at him. “now that’d be hard to just pick one, darlin’. i cheat an’ pick all of ‘em.” innocently smiling, resting her chin in her hand as she munches on a few sweet potato fries. going quiet long enough to listen to the song for a few seconds and to swallow her food, “and my mama, she’s doin’ really great.” she’s been happier than ever since kicking that piece of shit out of their house several years ago. “all right and what? another season?” dark brows shoot up, one side of her cheek filled like a chipmunks as she looks at him with wide eyes before forcing herself to swallow it. “that’s so amazin’, billysaurus!” eyes glittering in ecstasy for him, patting his forearm in excitement.

eyes drop on the finger dipping into her ranch, jaw immediately dropping because she’s not sure what’s more gross or not?! him eating ranch by itself or now her ranch has every germ known to man in it thinkin’ of all the door handles he’s touched tonight. “THAT’s nasty!” she shrieks, smacking his forearm this time. “billby bonney! i’m gonna murder youuu—” she steams, wiping grilled chicken juices on his cheek while grabbing his other hand with the ranch coating his finger, trying to direct it across his cheek. “AN’? i ain’t with him like that anymore. that was a year ago, things change in’a year y’know. i decided i don’t need any men, cause no one can treat me the way i want ‘em to treat me. no one can treat me the way i treat me. so ‘mm jus’ not lookin’ for anymore relationsips.” doe eyes roll, “i don’t need a male to complete me. i’m jus’ bein’ lucy gray now. cause i’m young only once, i realized. i got plenty of time later on in my thirties to think about husbands— if i want one. but rig’ now, i ain’t want a one.” she grumbles, wondering why men always SEEM to think women need a boyfriend. since it isn’t the first time a boy has nosed around in her relationship business. it makes her eyes roll again, punching him in the thigh at that last minute thought because how damn rude of him, her ring driving into those dress pants of his. men are SO damn annoyin’. “righ’ now—? i’m havin’ fun!” tossing her arms up, anger turning to excitement in half a second, making a ‘woooo!’ sound while clapping her hands. digging in her little purse for heart shaped sunglasses, slipping them onto her face. “of course, REALLY.” she has a need to go dancing, so she’d gladly take him as her partner. “hmm, oh yeah.” she nods to the reminder of that song, funny he’s been listenin’. keepin’ up with what she does. “that boy was so sweet, i’m so happy that just little ole me could make someone that happy.” she spoke softly and fondly, about to burst into happy tears. “who, me? i’m flirty-atious? am i? really?” bringing two strands of hair around her face, crossing them under her chin as she shyly grins. how so, she wonders? she does it without even noticin’? the songbird can’t help but giggle shyly before it’s interrupted with a huge HICCUP.
