the OG pearl clutch when sapnap dies and he gets his stuff

3v1 round one

covering the water with planks so the hunters die when they jump (MY FAVORITE) (its the first i ever watched :,D )

hunters lava trapping the end portal

3v1 rematch

he drinks the fire res as he jumps into lava and bad dies falling after him

tricks the hunters into thinking his fire res is more strength

as bad and sapnap turn back, he shoots an arrow from a mountain and hits bad from ~100 blocks away

3v1 finale

building a new nether portal to trick bad

splashing an invis pot so no one knows who anyone is

he sets up an end crystal trap in the stronghold and kills them all

bad sneaks up on him and kills him when he’s on half a heart after just killing the other two in the end

3v1 finale rematch

wearing bad’s skin

building his nether portal in a tower

dropping his sword just in time to land on a horse after being knocked from his portal with no water

placing boats under him to cross a lava lake

dropping tnt into the end portal and putting the hunters in the void

snd promptly use a fishing rod to pull ant and bad up and kill them from fall damage

trapping the hunters in an ocean monument

throwing a pearl, bone-mealing saplings, and landing on the fully grown tree

building another flying machine

sapnap stopping him by breaking a slime block and sacrificing himself

basically this whole end, dude

dropping tnt and instantly killing four of the hunters, slime clutching and bouncing down to george

fishing his pearls and surviving (perfect throwback to 2v1)

The thing I love about Claudia is her tragic loyalty-- She never believes dark magic is wrong because it's what her father, who has her utmost loyalty, taught her. She never believes that "my goal by any means" is wrong because it's what he taught her. She idolizes him and when he's gone her whole worldview collapses so she stops at nothing to bring him back so he can be her moral compass, so she doesn't have to face that she's wrong.

And like, I also love that by seeing her literally following his footsteps, Viren realizes the horrifying error of his own ways. That's such a powerful "mirror" parallel I wish they had pushed more literally instead of Viren just like Waking Up With A Conscience. Like they were so close, but it felt like they changed Viren's character a little too fast.

alr heres an unedited excerpt from the prologue/first chapter of my ness the waiter x lore crackfic. dont question whats happening here itll all make sense eventually (maybe)

Ness didn’t usually pay all that much attention on his commute home. Perhaps if he had, none of it would’ve happened.

As he flicked on his turn indicator and cruised down main, his mind was more on vague thoughts of what he was going to eat when he got home. He’d driven the route so many times it felt like second nature. It was easier than feeling his way around his room in the dark (something he did every morning, because he despised the colour of the lights in his small apartment).

The windows of the stores along the street were decorated with spiders and witches and pumpkins in preparation for Halloween. Ness admired them for a moment before his attention shifted. One of the bakeries, an old-style one that’d been there since before Ness was born, had a large red sign in the window reading Closing Forever Soon! Sale! in bold font. It was kind of endearing, and a little sad, in a hideous, hand-made way.

The traffic light switched from red to yellow to green a few moments before Ness reached the intersection. Ness smiled and didn’t even slow down as he rolled through. Perhaps if he’d taken the time to slow down slightly and look, he could’ve avoided the accident.

Ness saw the truck through the corner of his eye, but it didn’t really register what was happening at first. At the very last second, he snapped out of his daze and tried to swerve.

Perhaps if he hadn’t, he would’ve lived.

Because if someone is asking for representation they likely want it in a story that they'll enjoy. yeah, not everyone wants to read YA drama/romance books just for the representation, crazy i know. Yeah some of us actually want well written stories about things we actually care about. some of us want characters to be like us while they fight dragons or something.

so stop typing that message about how OP should totally check out X media. maybe, if you really wanna recommend something, maybe just ASK OP is they are looking for suggestions and what kind of stories they like so you know if that's even what they're looking for. trust me, they'll appreciate your input a lot more if you just ask.

WELL FRIEND i have many ybc playlists and im going to use this ask as an excuse to share all the ones that are public because i am actually so proud of most of them !

the way i do playlists especially character playlists that are connected thru shared canon is pretty specific. track order always matters, every playlist starts with an instrumental track that sets the tone, and that tone will change as the playlist progresses. different characters will favor different genres, some more heavily than others, but there are intentional shared artists across the different playlists to emphasize shared connection (i.e., ybc pete's playlist is going to share an artist with ybc joe, ybc andy, and ybc patrick, all separately). character playlists are constructed thru the lens of focusing on a genre or a couple different genres and then adding songs that lyrically encapsulate the character's whole Deal, tho not necessarily chronologically.

all playlists featured here are an even 50 songs, which puts them at around the 3 hour mark. generally speaking there won't be more than 2 songs by any one artist, but there will be at least one SRAR track.

i have Lots of these but these are the ones that are public and that i'd mostly consider done (plus or minus some tweaking down the line cause i'm picky lol) so these are the ones i'm sharing.

YBC ANDY: lots of metal, hardcore, hard rock, prog-rock, etc. very high energy but focuses on themes of helplessness in the face of adversity, emotional repression, and self-neglect in the name of group cohesion.

YBC PETE: blend of pop, alt-rock, pop rock, hip-hop, and melodic dubstep. discusses themes of betrayal, loss, and deception but with an edge of gritty determination to turn things around.

YBC JOE: all flavors of rock - classic rock, alt-rock, pop rock, punk rock, metal-rock fusion, but with a sprinkling of morbid acoustics. concentrates on themes of self-loathing, unbelonging, uncertainty, and fear.

YBC PATRICK: eclectic mix per the character's innate duality. starts with folk-adjacent indie tunes before swinging into harsher metal and punk/hardcore, dipping into jittery electronica, then deranged, bouncy pop. evens out into quieter, more introspective acoustics. themes of duality, guilt, and wrestling with one's internal demons.

THE VIXENS: this one is basically all girlboss bops. it mmmostly favors pop and riot grrl type rock but honestly it's got a lot of variations on the general theme of "i want to kill men"

THE DEFENDERS OF THE FAITH: combines the disparate styles of the four guys into one conjoined playlist. focuses on hope and unity.
