Stupid little Tamcien headcanon.

Tamlin wakes up early in the morning before anyone else is up, not even the cooks are up at this hour. He’s still bleary-eyed but hungry so he walks into the kitchen and starts making something, pancakes he decides on.

Half an hour later Lucien wanders downstairs. A sweet scent promising food lures him into the kitchen where he sees Tamlin with his back to the door, cooking happily whilst humming a tune. Lucien leans against the threshold and just watches him for a moment. There is something so peaceful about this hour, before the day has begun, before they have to get to work, they’re both just enjoying their morning.

Lucien eventually sneaks up behind Tamlin and wraps his arms around the High lord’s waist, pressing his face into the crook of his neck. He murmurs against Tamlin’s skin, “What’s cookin good lookin’?”

Tamlin laughs. They both eat breakfast and just enjoy their morning together. Undisturbed and in love.

"i hate this."

If she's honest, she's watching in abject fascination. Technically the bag is big enough to hold the spatula, it's not like it's full-sized, but it just seems improbable that it would be in there. Who needs a spatula so regularly in their day-to-day lives that they need to carry one around in their purse?

Char realises that she's probably staring a little bit and switches to something more like a grin, unable to help herself asking "So what are you cooking up?"
