Kung Food Cereal

High-resolution 4K parody product render, surreal humor, cartoon realism. A hilariously over-the-top cereal/snack box labeled “Kung Food Cereal” sits proudly on a kitchen counter. The box design is a mashup of Wheetos branding and the unmistakable look of Jackie Chan — his cartoon version is front and center: grinning wildly, eyes wide, diving headfirst into a swirling bowl of chocolatey Wheetos, arms flailing like he’s living his best snack life. The cereal pieces are little exaggerated loops with tiny sunglasses on them. Todays cereal is Wheetos Chocolety Hoops Orange Flavour! On the box it says ‘loved by kids, approved by parents’, as I am neither of those things hopefully I’ll be able to give this a level headed and honest review.

Initial impressions: I love chocolate and orange as a flavour combination, so I’m really excited for these! However, in my experience limited edition flavours can tend to be limited edition for a reason. We shall see if this deserves to be inducted into the regular Wheetos roster!

Post bowl thoughts: when you open the box and lean your head over the dry cereal prices, a deliciously rich chocolate sent suffuses the air. This would prove disappointingly to be misleading, as these Wheetos are the blandest cereal I’ve ever had. There is meant to be chocolate in there, but where is she? They lead with the wheat taste of the hoops, which is deliberately lacklustre to carry flavour, and then follow up with an aftertaste of chemical orange so paltry and futile it might as well not have been there. Usually, even if I don’t like a cereal more broadly, I can pick out redeeming factors. For these, in all of their wasted promise, it is too kind to seek redemption. The milk sucks. I didn’t finish the bowl.

Currently watching Muppets Christmas Carol in my Christmas PJ’s and eating a bowl of Wheetos, life is good

So somehow my family got hooked up with those ‘lockdown emergency food ration boxes’, I guess somehow my mum got added to the database.We don’t actually need the box, my mum has tried to get off the list several times but they keep rolling them out.

But it’s weird af comparing what we get in ours to other people as it clearly varies by your local council as other people seem to be posting way more well stocked boxes than what we get here. And they claim ‘this is significant nutrition’

I really doubt like a pack of fig rolls, tiny school lunch apples and a box of chocolate wheetos and like mushy peas are but ok
