I was so arrogant going into Actium bc I can draw really quickly but comics are just much more exhausting? Even when you sacrifice quality for speed it’s still very tiring to try to keep things generally consistent and to draw a bunch of panels, or if it’s the fact that I’ve never drawn spaceships or guns or anything before and now I’m drawing hundreds of them lol. I do love it! I just have to take fat naps in between

#and of course I’m an overwriter here who loves a slow burn so. there’s a lot of plot that I probably should cut out. but oh that sweet #character interaction that I love #I think when I do make more comics (not if! when!) I’m gonna try to do some short form stuff and also some traditionally drawn ones.#I’m much quicker on paper #eventually I wanna do the necromancer comic too but I’m gonna wait until I’m more experienced #I’ve already learned so much in a really short time. lots of mistakes made lol #ramblings

#krys talks #more like krys vents #like #first noticed when I was queueing up posts for wip wednesday next week #and had wanted to link one of the oc brainrot posts #go to the oc masterlist to get the link #but it links to the intro post only #okay so easy enough of a fix #manually go to get the url and put it in via html mode to be completely sure it's correct #only to find that it's the same url in html mode #krys becomes confused as a result #talked about the problem on discord and find that the main writing masterlist was doing the same thing #krys gets more confused #then looked at the html again to see if I was missing something #turns out the old name.tumblr conventions were being linked to a previous tumblr.com/name url that was above it and overwriting the old one #krys stares into the middle distance #also turns out that if I got onto desktop name.tumblr mode the links work fine #just not on the mobile version #krys wants to choke a bitch

Oh but can you IMAGINE the Lostbelt being a crude recreation of what Yuu longs for? Can you imagine Grim being forced to evolve so that he can guard Yuu because at the end of the day Yuu and Grim are nothing without one another.

Yuu who tries so hard to appease the vestiges of humanity that play up the traits of the Seven Dorms and their family, where they blend and mix and you cannot discern their faces.

The amalgam of comfort and grating unfamiliarity. The hollow feeling that you are where you've always wanted to be and yet you cannot settle because in the end the experiences that you've gone through has forever changed you.

Adeuce having to face off against the crude versions of themselves based off the recollection of Yuu.

They didn't want to reunite like this. Not like this.

#twst #twisted wonderland #scream into the void and i'll answer #ace trappola #deuce spade #twst grim #i honestly think that Yuu as a lostbelt king would be tragic #because Yuu's memories are now oversaturated with the memories of their friends #that when they try to form a lostbelt based off of their home it ends up being a twisted [pun intended] reminder #that reinforces Yuu's fear of never finding a way back #and in this case Yuu was not able to go back #so they molded the world to the best of their ability #i can imagine one of the key figures in bringing Yuu down and helping Adeuce being a family member or a friend #Lostbelt Yuu's defeat ending in the harrowing realization that theyve been immortalized in this state of abnormal #that they can never return to the warm embrace of home #a place they longed for so much that they were willing to destroy themselves and overwrite the world for it.#and Adeuce can do nothing but console them in their last moments #I genuinley think that Lostbelt Grim would be one of the first to fall #a glass cannon who would follow Lostbelt Yuu to hell and back #taking on the traits of each overblot to protect Yuu's dream #because they need each other #because they love each other #And he would love to experience the love that Yuu speaks so fondly about #the love that pushed them to rewrite the world to their bidding #the love that destroyed them soul body and mind

Yesterday I finally decided to try resetting/recovering my computer, after a few months of it acting off and me being afraid to do so.

I'd had this strange worry of taking a mostly-functional computer and somehow completely ruining it by resetting it.

Weird thing to be nervous about, huh?

Well... I haven't been able to get it to turn on since.

#I think I need to turn a flash drive into a Win10 installation disc and overwrite everything.#I've kinda put my memories of when a graphics card or driver messed up out of my mind and now this stuff feels vaguely familiar.#I'd thought I could've avoided stuff back then if I'd thought to go to Safe Mode. ...But I don't know how to do that in Win10 #and I don't know if I can after deleting my OS...

#ra speaks #personal #le sigh #extension I use to hoard tabs crashed when I tried to load up my workout for the day #lost all of my tabs #spent half an hour trying to figure out how/if they were recoverable #alas to no avail #autism brain stressin about losing My Stuff so I bite the bullet #and spend another half hour trying to extract the relevant files from my external hard drive w a backup from July #(I use the same 3-4 tab sets daily and everything else sorta filters to the bottom for reference #anyways kept crashing trying to copy them manually so I open the backup application hoping it won’t automatically overwrite the last backup #it didn’t. took less than two minutes for the relevant files to be restored. I feel a little stupid for getting upset abt this for an hour #gonna do yoga for 45 minutes and pop my anxiety meds to coast for the rest of the day bc I cannot even today #someone remind me to message my psych abt trying a proper adhd med #I’ve been fine w what I got but it does make my resting lvl anxiety a lil higher which makes it easier for me to spiral like this #smh beans pull it together! your labmate put he/she/they pronouns in the syllabus for you! life’s good!

I think it'd be so incredibly funny if the one time Overwrite NEVER interrupted technology to fuck with shit was during Karaoke. Like yeah listen to Sandbox fuck up some early 2010s music. Honestly I think that Casey and Velvet would be great at karaoke too, once they got into it
