Bad news guys, autisms winning and I’m getting close to giving into the need of relistening to the entirety to Prime Defenders while filling out a notebook of info on it

#I’ve been actually wanting to do that for literal months #ever since I first finished it really #which.. was in early January #I’ve been putting it off cause it feels like a lot and it’s like #what would I really use an entire notebook full of PD facts and stuff like that for #but I also thought the hyperfixation would’ve died down by now #this thing ain’t going nowhere anytime soon #so I just might…#it’d be so worth it I think #and if I never finish it I just never finish it #I’ll get to relisten to PD AND feel like I’m doing important stuff with the time #seems like a win to me #jrwi #jrwi pd #moomins yapping<3

#my freshman year of college my best friend and I were both a wreck #and on opposite sides of the country #during winter break I made the decision to share certain information with their parents bc I was actively concerned for their safety #they were deeply upset about me betraying their trust like that and asked for a break in our friendship #(a few months later (which happened to be early March 2020. lol) they did shrooms and realized they wanted to talk to me again lmao)#(so we talked and cried and now we’re still best friends almost 4 years later)#and my birthday is in january so it fell right in the middle of the period we weren’t talking #and my friends at school actually put together a really lovely party and it remains to this day the best bday party ive had #(most of my bdays have been sad and shitty lol)#but i just remember being drunk in my friends dorm room with my friends all around me #it was the end of the night people were just kinda chatting in little groups or whatever #and i was lying on my friends bed just miserable bc all I could think about was how my best friend was supposed to be there too #bc my parents were going to fly them out for the weekend as a present #and obviously that just got dropped #and id been talking to my friends about it kind of but all I wanted was my actual best friend #I left them a very embarrassing drunk voicemail that THANK GOD they deleted without listening to #but it’s just. the quiet agony of being angry and sad and hurt because your person doesn’t want to be ur person anymore #and still wanting to talk to them about it. still needing them to comfort you and give you their advice and insights #i don’t want to talk to anyone else about it. they’re not you.#sigh. anyway. ive actually lost several close friends for various reasons ranging from reasonable to bullshit #and it always blindsides me how much I want to talk to THEM about it #so thanks mitski for expressing that so artfully #op

Me, feeling like I haven't been writing enough lately, looking at my stats and realizing I've been keeping up an average of 1400 words a day (but also what the hell happened in March???)

Has anyone else realized that Quesadilla Island is most likely an Island in the northern hemisphere because it's "SNOWED" at spawn during the build up to Christmas and southern Hemisphere Winters happen in the June-Sept timeframe while Northern Hemisphere winters happen in the Dec-March time frame?

oh HEY guess who got an e-mail today saying i got accepted into the next full-time finnish course !!!!! the test i had to take a few weeks ago was kinda meh and since there are only 60 places and way more applicants i had kinda given up hope but eyyyyy!!! one less thing to stress and worry about for now like. i am SO relieved because it means i can hopefully keep my benefits for now and you know. it's nice having money while studying whoooo

#my other course that i've been in since february finished 2 weeks ago and this one won't start until early january soo. winter break i guess #some people from my previous course also got in apparently! which is nice :)#the place has a really good reputation and i've heard so many good things from former students so i'm having high hopes

hey guys quick question regarding the keeper sexyman tournament coming up in february. would people interested in drawing portraits rather start them december or january

ok well i was about $1800 in the red this year lmao...could be worse [edit: jk i forgot to include the $260 i paid in et/sy fees this year LMAO...ah well]

#part of that is due to the class structure (which meant i had like $750 in class fees in the last couple months)#bc early winter session is SO short #so i paid for early winter session in october and i paid for the january session in december #but also that wouldn't've mattered if i actually had like. kept my shop stocked this year lmao #i have a bunch more dishes to photograph too but it's cold out :(#i might just have to break down and take shitty indoor photos just to mcfreakin sell these things #anyway! here's to a more financially solvent 2024!#im at peace with it btw cause like #i let my shop suffer bc i needed to make things that sparked joy and improve my skills a little #i needed the enrichment and i don't mind the price i paid #i learned a lot and i made cool things #and now! we rebuild!

It was still early in the morning when Daniel opened the door of the student residence three weeks later. He’d returned to The Valley for New Year’s and took an early train back.

When he entered the common room, he was greeted by James sitting on the sofa, quietly strumming his guitar.

“Hey Danny, Happy New Year! You’re back early!”

Dan smiled, “You’re up early! Happy New Year to you, too, James. Why didn’t you go home for the holidays?”

James shrugged, “I didn’t feel like spending that much time with my parents, especially not now that they’ve moved into that small new house. Besides, I wanted to work on the music a bit more. I’m getting a bit anxious now that it’s January, and the release date is getting closer, to be honest. I’m not sleeping very well, so I just came here to play. But why are you back this early in the morning?”

FEEL FREE TO IGNORE #i dont wanna go to work ‼️‼️‼️ i feel like i am nearing a breaking point i am sofucking burnt out #every time i go to work. my brain gets Scary at me. stresses me out. dont like it ☹️#im supposedto be going in tonigjt but im dreading it sososo much #my work hour options have changed from “fully flexible” to “7am-9pm only” whcih yeah i know that doesnt sound that bad. but i have non-24 #(circadian rhythm disorder that makes me sleep progressively later every day circling fully around the clock over ~3 weeks or so)#and bcos of it often i have to force myself out of bed in what my body thinks may as well be the middle of the night just to get to work #and then i dont ever get enough time to recover from that to actually let my sleep fall back into its natural schedule wjich is the only #time i feel properly rested. so essentially im chronically sleep deprived which is making me chronically stressed and way less productive #i just reslly really want to fucking save up a little money and just Not work for a week or two. bjt. with my sleep bullshit i cant really #work enough to be able to put anything aside. at all #so. kind of an unrealistic desire i guess. lol #ive been feeling like this ever since like early january when i was told i ahve to stick to a more normal schedule. & its only getting worse #idont know i just wishthere was something i could do that was fully flexible on timing but also doesnt havw the kind of workload that would-#-stress me out like basically anything with longer-term projects so ykmow Most flexible schedule jobs.#i do have one thing in mind i could do on my own but its dumb and probably wouldnt make much money and has startup costs i cant afford rn..
