#and the worst part it unquestioningly IS the best documentary on OJ #and it's a great doc no question #but like the aging white commentators freely using the n word is a bucket of cold water on it for me #my god people were so fucking patronizing to OJ esp. in the sportscasting world I'm surprised he didn't kill sooner #annoyingly it is also a very good documentary about Los Angeles in the last 70 years #and like now realizing that the actual LAPD chief who is a thinly veiled character in A Friend in Deed (1974) Columbo ep was the same one a #Chief that ordered the 39th and Dalton raid; who beat Rodney King and got away with it and then ordered them to sit on their hands #at the start of the 93 riots...#it's like finding out that Kissinger did all THAT too #Oh well but at least we got LA Confidential about it right?

I'm an undergraduate and had a professor last semester who was new. At one point, he asked us for feedback about the readings and his teaching style. One student said with the utmost confidence despite being wrong most of the time, "I don't do any of the readings. I already understand the material completely." I went to a public high school during covid and have still never seen light drain from a teacher's eyes so quickly. Peak white boy behavior

maybe it’s just cuz i’m mainly involved in fandoms via tumblr but it’s always so strange when ppl outside of the cosmere fandom/brandon sanderson community are like “ahaha all brandon sanderson fans are cishet white dudes 😂” like. sorry what. what are you talking about. even the first few videos under the booktok tag on tiktok that are from non-white men are recommending sanderson’s books. what’s happening here

Nope! Keep in mind that all instances I've drawn him have been either patreon requests or from him winning patreon polls!

I personally have not viewed the series/media he's from and really have no desire to draw him outside of work; he's just 1 of many blonde white boys from The Medias that I've been paid to draw, as far as I'm concerned. :P So if you want a musclechub nick Nelson, you're gonna have to go the route that got him drawn those previous times: Request him for the stream doodles by supporting me, nominate him for the monthly polls or when WG sequences cycle around again, or straight up commission him (which will be a LONG wait).
