First Post!!!!!

Well hello,

So glad you decided to stop by and thank you for the follow. After recent multiple heartbreaks (because I’ve been a serial dater for the last idk 10 years), I’ve decided to focus on me and create a bucketlist of 101 (prolly more) things to do. I call it “Finding Jax Again”. I (Hello!) am Jax; currently a 26 year old, queer female Air Force Reservist, a little unhappy with the way my life is. I’m not quite ready to get into specifics about those heartbreaks, the individuals I’ve experienced them with, my personal life, or the deep psyche of the one known as Jax. I have elected to keep that side of me... in the dark for now. However, I promise to make up for the lack of juicey details by the addition of extra funny sarcassim my parents supplied me with. 

Please know that although this may seem like a kind of an outcry, it is. But I want anyone that is reading this, including my future self, that: I am ok, I am safe, I am surrounded by a large circle of love both from my friends and family (within some limitations of their own personal boundaries). I am in no part thinking of hurting myself, taking my life, or hurting anyone else. I can ensure you, I am and have been, going to therapy and working deeply on myself already. But with the new LARGE amount of time on my hands... well I need to soak it up with something or I will feel like I am literally wasting my life away.

So you can say I am functioning through depression and even sifting through the harder childhood issues by living out my deep hopes and dreams on this, soon to be posted, bucketlist. I would like to make 5 vows to the readers and myself throughout this journey. 

1. Everything on this bucketlist is attainable. With patience and the right resources, I can accomplish it all. It is a list, not a timeline. I CAN DO ANYTHING.

2. While on this journey I recoganize that my basic needs must be met first, so general safety, nurishment, and sense of comfort may be challenged; however, I am responsible for ensuring I am ok FOR MYSELF. BE YOUR OWN HERO.

3. Regardless of what anyone else says, this list, but more importantly, this journey is for ME. Some may think I am crazy, but I will not let that stop me. NO ONE CAN BRING ME DOWN.

4. My biggest fear during this journey is being alone, although I am a very social person, I fear that I cannot accomplish these tasks by myself. It is my duty to ensure, even if no one is “down” I must always be down for my own sake. I AM ALL THAT I NEED.

5. If I should stumble upon love along the way, I at the time have the choice to add the individual to experience my journey with me or I must allow the individual to be only in my life for a short amount of time. I cannot stop my journey just as I will not require someone to stay especially if my journey does not align. FILL UP MY CUP FIRST/COME WHAT MAY.

5. In the event my physical health should deterriorate, I challenge myself to finish as much as possible. However, if I should not be able to do so... I, Jax, challenge anyone following this blog to carry out the reminder of the journey/list or to make their own as a tribute to my life and those I left behind/those I crossed paths with. FOREVER SHALL OUR STORY REMAIN.
