"Oh? Back so soon?"

You step into the room cautiously, half-hoping the protections spells you've cast on yourself before visiting will hold up — half-hoping they won't. Being whisked away by a demon must have its perks.

"Excuse the mess. It's been a busy day." You nod as he leads you to the couch and wipes the rest of the blood off his lips and chin. You wonder how many people he tore apart today. You wonder how they felt in their last moments.

Victor sits down across from you, on the couch on the other side of the coffee table. He surveys your face, curious and amused.

"So... Unless you've managed to make a mortal enemy of someone in the past twelve hours, I assume you're not here for assassination services this time." He flashes you a smug grin. "Did you just want to see me again?"

He was still Immortal. He still somewhat had strength left in him, and already he'd proved difficult to handle. Nobody would be able to find him, but just because Foster had managed to wrangle him into their basement didn't mean they could relax; much less around him.

And now it is damaged, failing, dying. You are curled up in a ball of pain. You can't even think past the chokehold it has on your mind. You curse it for not listening to you when you try to stand or speak or calm down. You are afraid. Your body has caused you more pain and strife than anything or anyone else in this life. You hate it.

And you aren't ready to let it go.

For the character ask game, Helle and Beck’s opinion on my ocs Dew and Anton?

Anton is a mad scientist who does unethical experiments on people with the goal of eventually becoming immortal. he doesn’t exactly like hurting or torturing people, but he does it anyway if it's for science. he can be pretty scary and intimidating most of the time, but he’s also a silly goose and loves spending time with animals

Dew was kidnapped by Anton and experimented on a lot. He’s scared all the time but also defiant and never stops trying to escape. he likes drawing and playing video games. he misses his friends and just wants to go home :( he also has wings

i also have an au where Dew’s a vampire, where basically he hates being a vampire and he hates hurting people. he’s lonely and likes turning into a bat and flying around with other bats to feel included. he’s sooo defiant when he’s taken by Anton and is constantly muzzled, making him unable to use hypnosis

"A big no on Anton from me," Beck says immediately. "I just hope he stops that madness once he becomes immortal. I've had enough of immortal people messing with others forever. Also– literally just go get bitten by a vampire. That only hurts you! And I know one that loves to threaten turning others." He pauses for a moment, then sighs. "But at least he loves animals."

"Dew... god, I wish I could whisk him away from there. I don't even know what to say, that's so..." He's tearing up a little, and he's blinking rapidly to try and get rid of it. He eventually gives up and just wipes his eyes with the back of his hand. "I'm so sorry, Dew. That's messed up. I'd love to help, if... if only I could." He doesn't say it, but he knows he sounds ridiculous. He can't even help himself.

"Uh, hello?" Helle spreads their arms. "I am right here! I can give you immortality! Anton, you only have to ask! The sun is a small price to pay, really!" They don't mention barely being able to remember how the sun felt. "Jokes aside, I love a practical man. I wish him nothing but luck in his endeavours."

"Poor Dew," they say without any pity or sympathy. "It must be so hard. Really, my heart aches for him. About those wings, though... Are they fluffy? Soft? Great to bury my face in? Just asking out of curiosity, no particular reason. And about his vampire self– what a delight. The only good vampire is a muzzled one, or so I have been told by many over the years."

5 — How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

if we're talking pre-htkai, he would consider murder to get what he wants. or maybe manipulation, bribery, etc. but! post-htkai, or during it, I don't think he'd even want to go near a knife, let alone threaten to kill someone. he might bribe them, or persuade them perhaps

6 — How easily could your OC be convinced to do something that goes against their moral compass?

despite being Immortal and knowing he can't exactly die, just put a knife to his throat or the back of his neck and he'll do as you please :))

13 — If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?

mayhaps 👉👈 he was originally based off of me but he's changed a lot but we still have some similarities. but I think he'd get a little pissed off with how feral I can be, so maybe just acquaintances :33
