ive been in the pnat fandom since 2015/2016 :) because of this arguably ALL my favorite older fic/art is by inactive users lol, some people are still kicking around though. my fave fics of all time are:

umm what horrors were there. oh okay so apparently there was fandom drama a few weeks ago over the prose stuff or writing or whatever idk i wasnt paying attention- anyway i saw people posting about it like it was some massive fallout. literally it was baby leagues. in 2018ish mid-ch5 when isabel and isaac had their big fight? the fandom was in ACTUAL SHAMBLES. the tag was full and i mean FUL of people writing me-length essays on why isaac was right or isabel was right. people tried arguing isabel was gaslighting isaac. one person in the fandom was a psych major and wrote an entire response on how that was quite literally not the definition of gaslighting. several people quit the fandom for this it was their catalyst. also bullymagnets and imaaxes hated each others guts. actually pnat shipping only really got popular around 2016/2017- a lot of the fandom didnt like shipping the kids! we just hung out being like ‘what if max and isabel bet one could shove more cookies in their mouth and then they both threw up’ ‘what if the activity club played dnd’ ‘what if they were wizards’ it was super chill. rarepairs were more common. ppl were a lot more focused and interested in just having fun and trying new things than if those things made sense or if they liked them or not. OH PARASONAS WERE HUGE everyone loved parasonas. wait this is supposed to be about the horrors. ummmm i mentioned it before but there was a lot of isaac/isabel fandrama. by which i mean isaac enjoyers who tended to relate to him without understanding why the writing treats him like it does, woobified the shit out of him and were super obnoxious about it. imo this still happens but not nearly as much as it did in 2014-2019. there was this one guy who like HARDCORE shipped ed and isabel and did it with unabashed gusto. these were the horrors

my ol tablet is wacom bamboo fun cth-461, got it in 2011 and ... it works fine ever since, wont complain (except just one single flaw: at least two times per year drivers suddenly nope out and die. well this what happened back on windows 7, nowadays on windows 10; for like two years it never happened yet. other users say its a common issue for wacom tablets so oh welp x'))

a replacement with properties v alike: wacom intuos basic pen s ... probably the whole intuos series thing (?). statistics say they are cooler, i say my tablet would eat them all for breakfast-- i mean i don't think they would ever manage to live for as long as my ol pal. and you know i prefer nokia-like immortality in devices, even as i am a gentle type of user

other interestiing choices: - xp pen star 06. actually eyeing it?? it's a bit bigger, can do a wireless trick (whytho) and got all the buttons, and it's super alike (copy cat alike) wacom intuos pro, except it's cheaper ($420 vs $71 in classic ru stores- to think of, wacom stuff is nearly as ridiculously overpriced as apple shit. are they going to ban their stuff in my country? i bet they gonna) - xp pen artist 12 2nd gen (it's like second monitor type, which could be bad for the spine, but so far it seems a fine choice for wannabe animations / video editing and its price is not too expensive unlike others'- which could change any moment bcs man ruble falls faar down and craws up and falls again (and they cover it up by 'usd jumps usd fails, america this america that uwu' excuse) so idk yet)

a dream come true

last night i had a dream i was in a big studio in los angeles picking out songs for an album of mine with aidan, lucas, jesse, angie, my mom, my dad, and some other musicians. i'm not sure why jesse and angie were there. but either way, it was so real. the studio was a big square shape with really tall windows and a huge projector screen on the wall. honestly, it looked identical to my dads studio just bigger with those kind of like desks that are in chemistry classes in high school. random i know but i felt like i was learning and creating at the same time. jesse let me have "whytho" as a tomgirl song. that song is so good i hate that its not mine. i hate that he wrote it. anyways. one of the most eerily realistic dreams i've had in a while.

i say eerily only because of the people who were there. idk. i'm high. i just hope this year i get to do that. write music in fancy studios with my best friends. songs that we're so proud of. that we can't stop listening to on repeat.
