He sighed quietly in relief, falling back into the bed, catching his breath. You stared at him, pulling the covers back over you both. “Another nightmare?” You asked him quietly.

“I’m fine.” He nodded, turning onto his back, just staring at the ceiling until you spoke up.

“You want me to help you go to sleep?” You asked him, and he knew exactly what you meant with your words. He sent you a small smile, and you smiled at him softly, giving him a kiss as you moved down to inbetween his legs.

He looked down at you, moving the covers, watching you pull down the boxers he wore, his cock now hard against his stomach. You looked back up at him, giving a kiss to the tip, before giving it kitten licks.

He groaned, hand flying to the back of your head. “Stop teasing.” He muttered, voice laced with his exhaustion. He pushed your face down onto his cock, making you gag, before you took a breath out your nose, gripping onto his thighs.

“How did you even manage to do this to yourself?” Though you tried to sound annoyed and stern as you stared at JJ with your hands on your hips, your voice portrayed your clear amusement.

Your blond boyfriend looked up at you sheepishly and smiled shyly, “I dunno,” He mumbled, “It just happened.”

You shook your head, “How is it that you always manage to get yourself into these kinds of messes?”

His small smile turned into a wide, lopsided grin as he titled his head and looked at you, “I’d like to think it’s one of the traits you find most admirable about me.” JJ boasted.

That time, you couldn’t stop yourself from laughing as you stared at your boyfriend, who quite literally tangled up in the Christmas lights he was supposed to be untangling and placing on the tree.

The lights were wrapped around him in a way that was almost comically close to how a cartoon would look.

You made your way over to him, scanning the knots of lights to try and figure out the way to best release him.

Instead of searching to help you, he just smiled and leaned forward, placing a soft kiss on your lips.

A surprised laugh left you as you pulled back slightly, “What was that for?”

That endearing lopsided grin of his was back, “You're so cute when you try to act annoyed.”

You laughed again, “Shut up,” You shoved his chest lightly.

“It’s true,” Though his grin was still wide and boyish, his eyes were soft and true, “And I love that about you.”

“You’re nothing but trouble.” You playfully poked his chest, moving to try and untangle the lights.

“And you love that about me.” JJ teased.

That was a statement that you could not deny.

a smirk pulled at his lips. "i knew you'd come around," he shared with a chuckle as he reached into the cupboard for another glass for you.

once he had both cups ready and filled to the brim with marshmallows, he started making his way over to you, careful not to let a marshmallow fall over the edge—he had them piled on pretty high.

"you know, my dad was a piece of shit. we can all agree on that, but he did teach me one good thing," jj prefaced when handing you your beverage and taking a seat next to you. "you can never have too many marshmallows."

The way John B and Sarah from Outer Banks are (i just finished season 1) gives me Hunter/Andi vibes. Like Hunter isn't much of a touchie-feelie person, but he can't keep his hands off Andi. She's the person he reaches for when he just needs to feel something, whether that feeling is their fingers linking or him fully stepping up behind her and pressing his lips to the top of her head. Old people see them in the streets together, Hunter's arm usually slung around Andi's shoulders, and smile because "remember young love?" I don't know like especially the end of the last episode when they're just trying to get away and the guy on the boat sees how they are together, how John B refuses to leave Sarah's side and is always touching her somehow, really made me think of how i imagine Hunter Bradley to be with his girlfriend who he loves and knows he's going to marry within a few months of dating. OTPs, man.
