#im gonna do the interior tmrw but im pretty happy with how these turned out#i used the volvo laplander as reference for the front and the rest is based on a honda mini pickup truck#the bars around the chassis was an afterthought.. partly bc i thought it would look cool and partly because i thought#it would be good to add something to keep the trailer attachment in place.. i think theyre used more for offroad vehicles though idk#the folding screen is also partly to block out the view of sleights room and its painted with stars to act as a backdrop#idk if the stage is strong enough to support her weight with just thick wires keeping it suspended so.. maybe smth like#a table or chair gets wedged underneath to support it from the bottom too. i just couldnt fit it on there#myart#my art#my oc#oc#sleight#concept art#doodles#vehicles#sketches#wip#idk if im gonna color this i think ill just leave it like this

also i stayed in a hotel for the night because the drive to the show was like ~5 hours, so couldn't just come straight back after the show and i was almost sentenced to death, because in the room, there was like a little bedside radio / alarm clock setup, and it was putting out the most awful, subtle-until-you-notice-it electrical feedback noise
#just a high pitched buzzing whining sound#righttt by the bed#and it was like oh no problem we'll unplug it#but for like... theft-reduction? the plug was not accessible to me at all#and it didn't have a two way plug. like the wire didn't detach from the wall AND detach from the clock#we had to summon the help of the like. Hotel Handyman to unplug it. to merely unplug an alarm clock#and he was like psh easy#fast forward a couple minutes. he had to pull away the huge headboard + lamp setup against the wall#and move the mattress. and move the bedside table#to GET ACCESS TO THE DANG OUTLET#he saved my life.#I clapped when he unplugged it#sergle.txt

For a while I messed up some dates with regard to Oliver and Graham's break up. All the details we had was that Graham got replaced April of 2006 and that Oliver says he had broken up with him prior to 2007.
I had it in my head that Not!Graham had been the one broken up with.
Seeing as how Oliver was living with Graham until the break up, and Graham living alone at the time of the statement. Probably not the case, right.
Still, I'm stuck on this. Something feels not right about this situation and how it directly (or indirect, but Im sure it had some effect on Oliver) it all lead to Oliver becoming an avatar of The End.
Then on a relisten I catch it. Graham had been resorting that table for years. And remember that the table is an artifact of The Web. The Not!them is just bound to it.
Was it... was their break up The Web's fault (in part).
Can you imagine Graham missing important events, or meet ups. Forgetting to complete favors or deliver on his promises. Failing to give the time and affection need to maintain a relationship.
All because he got stuck, captivated, and enthralled by a hypnotic pattern on a table he invested so much time, money, and effort into.
Then, a few weeks, maybe months later. The other thing trapped in a web of it own lies. A creature bound by metaphor to an object meant to trap and enthral. Kills, and replaces even the very memory of him in all but a select few.
I have a strong suspicion that Oliver was not one of the (un)lucky few.
But I need to know.
Does Oliver remember the Real Graham?
Or can he only conjure the memory of the thing that replaced him.

Happy Secret Samol to 152Createz! They asked for Phrygian getting to meet Eclectic and Leap, and have a great time together! We are happy to announce that we have therefore written a novel about three guys that have never talked on screen.
There's Branched lore. There's a deep dive into Phrygian's situation and metal state. There are man-cannons. There is legit a mystery. There are multiple metal heists. There's aioli. It gets fucked up and political and sad. It gets gender. It gets weird. Shoutouts to Branched Man.
