It's fair to say that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was a mixed bag for most fans. Many people are rightly disappointed by the lack of polish this game has; others are still rightly justified to enjoy it even despite its shortcomings. This game has taken many steps forward in the right direction, yet is still going backward on others.

Ignoring the apparent devasting optimization the game sorely needs work on — they've even taken away a feature that players looking for a challenge enjoy using. 

Set mode.

For those who don't know, the set mode was a feature that allowed players to be unable to see what Pokémon a trainer would send out next during a battle. Now, while players can still technically play by the set mode rules by simply pressing 'no' on whether or not they want to switch their Pokémon — it's disappointing that the game is making it a little bit more of a nuisance by removing that quality of life feature for these players seeking a challenge.

But I digress.

While I could sit here naming all the flaws the game has that others undoubtedly already have done, I won't. I came here to say that, despite this game not being in its prime, I had so much fun playing it. One thing I absolutely adored about the game was the three storylines it had going on. I loved being able to see so many different characters and feel like I was forming genuine friendships (with these said characters), unlike in previous titles.

I loved helping Arven save his dog and feeling like a true best friend of his. Being able to stand there for his lows and see how he gradually warmed up more and more to the player was preciously wholesome. He was, personally, the best boy for me.

I loved experiencing Nemona's absolute joy about us beating her, just being a rival who loved to battle and nothing else that grand. Plus, it was precious that she had called us her treasure of the whole treasure hunt event.

And then I ended up liking Penny way more than I thought I would. At first, I thought she would be a shy character, needing help to break out of her shell. But she was, truthfully, someone with more sass than I was expecting, and it was hilarious to witness her interacting with someone like Nemona and Arven. And I personally found it very endearing how much she and Team Star cared about each other. It was heartwarming.

And then to be able to journey to the Great Crater with them? It felt like I was experiencing a real Pokémon anime adventure! And it only made me love the characters even more!

This game has its flaws, and I will never deny that — but I also won't deny that this game and the characters will have a place in my heart forever. And I know that I will definitely play this game over and over again in the future to revisit all the things I love in the Paldea region.

Those are the first words I hear as my head throbs with searing pain, and my body voices its soreness with an ache despite me not even moving a muscle yet. Despite this voice urging me into consciousness, I can scarcely will myself to even blink my eyes open. Everything about me has sealed with an overwhelming physical agony that even my daze mind rang alarm bells for.

Why am I in so much pain?

The Yanderes Prepare A Special Meal (Part One)

As promised, here are the headcanons @wirecree, I hope you enjoy them :)

Yanderes prepare some delicious treats for their crush, but the secret ingredient is actually that person their crush has been talking to.

Tamaki Suoh

Well, Tamaki is the type of guy who would probably pay someone to kill the rival. He wouldn't want to get bloody, so he would get the dirty work out of the way and then prepare the food. My guess is that he would probably prepare something that no one would suspect human meat in. Like cupcakes or pancakes or something sweet. Hayami probably wouldn't even suspect a thing as Tamaki approaches her with that cheerful smile. "Oh Darling, I've prepared you a delicious treat. Won't you try it? I'm sure you're going to love it just as much as I love you. It's to die for."

Mami Tsutsuko (Ouran Oc)

Mami is the type of girl who wouldn't strike you as the type who would kill someone. She's quiet and unassuming and she's always baking delicious treats for everyone, so what would be the difference in making something soley for Hayami? No one would see it coming. And if anyone were to confront her about it, well... All she would have to do is wet those big doe eyes of hers and go blubbering to Haruhi and everyone would be against whoever it was. Even if you didn't like the food she made, you would just want to see her smile. "Here you go, I made some food for you Hayami. This is especially for you, why? Oh because you're my friend and I would do anything for you... Anything."

Kyoya Ootori

Ah, where do we even start with Kyoya. He's definetly someone no one would suspect as a yandere. His mature and intelligent and would definetly make a very imposing yandere. Having a strict father, he is extremely touch starved; so Hayami is a breath of fresh air to him. He's not going to lose her to anyone; especially not someone he deams to be lower than him. He'll do whatever he can to make sure he keeps her. So he'll kill his rival through posion. Once he's made them into the dish of his choosing, he'll gift it to Hayami, all while acting like he normally would. Poor Hayami really has no idea what she's getting into. "This is for you, I sincirely hope it's to your liking." She won't even notice the devious grin on his face.

Killua Zoldyck

Well, because of Killua's past, I think it's no surprise that he's a yandere. I don't think he would really care whether Mari discovered the truth about the secret to the food. In fact, he would probably tell her that he killed his love rival and cooked them up. Though that depends really because I think a part of him wouldn't want her to find out in case she left him. But really I think he would be able to prevent her from escaping, given his liniage of course. All and all he's a pretty dangerous yandere to have. "Hey, I made you some food. I hope you appreciate it."

Senku Taiwagiri (Hunter x Hunter Oc)

Senku is a very maternal figure, especially towards Mari. Considering how she lost her own children, of course she would want to be a mother once again. Now unlike other yanderes, not only is she a plutonic yandere, but she also wouldn't feed Mari the person she killed. And rather than it be a rival, it would be someone who tried to hurt her. She would kill people to protect Mari, but she would never get her to eat them unless she voiced that to her. "Oh, would you look at that. The man who tried to kill you dissappeared. Well good riddance."

I have finally decided to watch Helluva Boss for the first time since it was released a couple years ago. And let me just say: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!

I think I adore literally every character in this show. And if I don't like the character, I certainly at least love their design (seriously, the art style of this show is amazing). And I'm absolutely invested in Stoltiz. I sincerely hope the best for these depressed boys. 💕

But aside from that, since I got into the show, I couldn't help but want to make an OC for it. So meet Calista! Aka, Sila. I'm actually planning on writing one-shots about her, so I'm not going to divulge too much information about her in this post since I want to write well-written stories about her. One thing I will say is she actually doesn't go by the name Calista anymore, much like how Blitzø doesn't go by Blitzo. She's only known as Sila in Hell.

Speaking of one-shots, though, I would happily take recommendations of one-shots to write for Helluva Boss if anyone requests some! I'll put links below of my minor rules for one-shots/fanfictions, and the Picrew I used to make this lovely OC of mine~!

Miroku

Well, no one would anticipate this guy to be a yandere. He's such a goofball. No one would predict him to ever want to kill someone. However, after meeting Hisao, something snapped inside him. Just seeing him with people made him angry. While he would never have the guts to kill Kagome because... Inuyasha and shit. However, if it's someone he can get away with killing, he will do it. "I made some food for you. Eat up, you've earned it."

Lilith

What a predicement she's found herself in. Lilith could never feel genuine love until she met Hisao. However, he changed something within her. Now she wants him for more than just sex; she wants him to fall for her in body, soul and mind. She wants him to truly love her. So, she'll get rid of anyone she needs to. As a powerful demon, it'll be easy for her to dispose of anyone. "Oh baby, you look so exhausted~ Let Lilith take care of you. Try this food I made for you, I'm sure you'll love it."

Izuku Midoriya

Izuku is just precious. I'm sorry but I find it very hard to imagine him doing this. Izuku as a yandere would be the sweetest thing still. With others, I can at least picture them in some way doing what they're doing, but with izuku, I just can't. He would be a protective yandere, protect, Arisu from the dangers of the outside world and from the villains, but he wouldn't kill anyone and he would especially not cook them up and get Arisu to eat them. "I'm going to be the hero you deserve. I promise."

Katsuki Bakugou

Oh, killing and cooking the person would be the least of the rival's worries. Katsuki would beat the crap out of them until they were begging for death. Now, Katsuki is not the gifting and loving type, so no one can blame Arisu for being suspicious of the boy. "Just eat it, I put a lot of effort into making the food. Or are you just scared?"

Kyoko Ichibyoku (My Hero Academia Oc)

Yeah, again she's someone hard to picture being a yandere, she's extremely sweet and cares for everyone around her. Especially her friends. So while I picture her being protective and having the desire to protect Airsu; I don't think she would cook anyone up. Killing isn't completely off the table, as she might kill someone to protect Arisu. However, the thing that would prevent her from killing someone is that she wouldn't want Arisu to be upset with her or disappointed in her. It would break her heart. "Lean on me if you're tired. Don't worry, I'm here for you."

Sasuke Uchiha

What can I say, boy is crazy. He would strike me as the type to do worse than just cook them up and have his lover, Michiko eat them. He's a possessive control freak who is mostly spurred by revenge and if he believed that someone was moving in on the person he loves, he would definetly kill them or give them a fate worse than death. "Huh? Where did [Insert Name] go? You don't need to worry. Just eat your food."

Shikamaru Nara

Though lazy, he is extremely intelligent, which allows him to get away with the stuff that he did. He wanted to be useful to his lover Michiko, so he kills anyone who causes her trouble. He's a mix between Izuku and Lilith and will cause harm to those who hurt or mess with Michiko. However, he wouldn't go as far as to cook them, mainly because it's easier to pretend they died on a mission gone wrong. "It's the way of life; not everyone survives these missions. You understand that, right?"

Hatsume-Lee Jounouchi (Naruto Oc)

She's someone who I picture never killing anyone before her death; but after her death... Sweet Heavens, don't go near Michiko. Hatsume would not only kill and cook them but if Michiko refused to eat, she would force feed her and make sure she ate the food. All while proclaiming she was doing it for her own good. "I'm doing this for your own good, so please... Stop fighting and let me adore you."

Norman

Being the smart and resorceful boy he is, he would be able to protect Celine from harm. However, I don't think he would cook someone and make them into a meal. If he actually had the chance, he probably would. It's more of a situational yandere thing where he can't make food out of his rivals. But that doesn't mean to say he can't kill them and make it look like an accident. He is a very smart boy after all, he could easily get away with murder. "Oh, him? Don't worry, he just took a small fall, I'm sure he's fine."

Rachel

Rachel and her husband are not as innocent as they seem. They work with Isabella, so what are you expecting. Her and her husband are both false prophets who constantly talk about the promised land and religion with the children. While Jacob doesn't care for Celine, Rachel develops a motherly attatchment towards them, like she had with her sons, Joseph and Benjamin. She will go against anyone to protect her new found treasure. Of course, she tries to keep Celine in the dark about her true identity, but it's hard. "Please, eat up, I prepared your favourite food. After all, you need to keep big and strong for when I adopt you."
