About a year after she was pulled from Haven, Kemuri went on her first Solo hunt as a bit of a “rite of passage” among her family. Her goal was to wipe out a pack of Beowolf that were getting progressively closer and closer to Mistral the longer they were around.
She tore through the most of them with pretty great ease between her Semblance-made mist distracting them with Aura signatures, and her overall skill from years and years of near constant practice. The Alpha, however. proved to be a massive problem. It was a much older Grimm, more experienced, and wasn’t fazed by her mist at all. It was able to tell the difference between the Semblance falsehood and her Aura proper, and pursued her with great experience and power behind every move it made
The fight eventually got to a point that Kemuri was exhausted, her Aura had gotten dangerously low, and the Alpha had gotten the drop on Kemuri. A claw at the face, thankfully missed most of her, but the farthest extended claw did catch her eye. The attack cost Kemuri her right eye, a scar faintly still visible at the outer corner going out and back a couple inches.
After the loss of her eye, things got really close between life and death against the Alpha. With some perseverance and quick thinking, Kemuri managed to stab her Katana through the Alpha Beowolf’s throat, but in the process, she was unable to keep it’s claws from digging into her right side. The weight of it’s body as it’s legs gave out in it’s death made the arm drag down her body, carving a couple closely-packed wounds down her right side from a few inches below her armpit, down to her mid-thigh.
Thankfully, Kemuri’s Aura was at a point that it was able to at least keep the claws from getting anywhere too deep, but she was losing blood rather rapidly. Between the distance she made toward Mistral, and having activated an SoS signal for a pick-up from a medical shuttle, she survived. Though it took a few months for her to fully recover, physically being faster, but mentally and emotionally taking longer.
It would be Gotin taking up glass-work to learn how to make a fake-eye to replace the one she lost that would help Kemuri finish up recovery. Working alongside him to make the eye itself, watching as he used his Semblance to enchant it to allow it to see Aura, and allowing him to put it in for her. The amount of time they spent together during this process, and years of having been close friends,  the proximity lead to emotions reaching an all time high. The result being the two sharing their first time, and entering into a brief romance for the next few months.
To this day, down the right side of Kemuri’s body, there is one big, jagged, messy scar that marks where the three claws of the Alpha Beowolf had carved into her. A reminder of her lowest point as a Huntress, though also the beginning of her climb as Wisperer. Taking up her Huntress title after she recovered, and starting to Hunt as a regular job.

Nightmares
So....one of you suggested that I wrote LimboxHarrow fanfic^^ Since Limbo and Harrow are both already in a relationship and I don’t want to confuse anyone with an alternative reality or universe, I simply thought what if both of them where together before Limbos death? So here ya go^^
"Limbo?", Harrow looks surprised at the Warframe, that sit in the corner of the room, shaking and his arms aournd himself, like he wants to shield himself from something. The Helmet of the white-golden Frame snaps around and he looks at the Void Priest, then he says with a gravely voice: "You want to leave me too?" "What are you talking about...?", asks Harrow and kneels down in front of the other frame. Limbo laughs dry and then just says: "Margulis...she just..." Harrow softly takes the helmet of the other frame in his hands and then says: "You know...Margulis had loved us. She wouldn't never abandon us" Limbo nods and then Harrow taps him softly on the Helmet. "So come one, we just got an bounty for a cult" "For real?!", Limbo looks up to Harrow, who has stood up. The grey-red-orange Frame laughs and then nods. "I wouldn't lie to you, wouldn't I?", he then says and Limbo laughs, then nods and stands up. "You would never", hey says and Harrow laughs. When there is one thing besides Math to cheer his boyfriend up, it is the promise of a bounty or a mission that requires intellect. Lately Limbo has done a lot of spy missions, and he is even better than Ivara with those. And Harrow is slightly curious, how Limbo can be so succesfull.
Limbo dugs behind a tower made from a white material and then looks to Harrow, who then sighs and says: "We can't go through there...there are lasers everywhere..." "Well...in the rift we aen't affected by the lasers and we don't trigger the alarm", Limbo then says and Harrow tils his head. "The...what?", he asks then confused. "The Rift. A dimension between the Void and this dimension. Where only a few can walk and a few can master it's powers. And currently I'm the only one to know about it. While in the rift you aren't affected by lasers or any damage, that would normaly happen to affect you. How do you think I was able to do all those spy missions in the past?", the other explains and Harrow sighs, then asks: "You have been experimenting again, haven't you?" "I can't be helped, my love, I'm just curious. But it is save, I promise. You must simply follow me and if you wish to leave the rift, then simple slide fast forward, it'll trhwo you back into this dimension. And you gain energy while your in the rift" Harrow sighes then states: "If we both explode, then it is your fault....but I'm trusting you on this one. While I pray that the void protects us..." Limbo laughs, then he softly leans his helmet against Harrows, whipsers: "I love you..." "I love you too, you crazy mathematic sientist", Harrow says in a lovely tone and Limob luaghs. "Then let's go!", Harrow says encouraged and their helmets are sperating from each other. It felt good to kiss his boyfriend, the only one who understands him and helps him trough his nightmares, that he sometimes has. Strapped down to a rock, motionless and in constant pain, while fighting off a deep wispering madness. Limbo jumps forward, his white Syandana blows up from the momentum, he lays into the acion and then a blue shimmering portal appears in front of Harrow, Limbo stands in the Rift, laughing and then he turns around to Harrow, spreading out both arms and then he states: "This is beautiful! Oh you should come in here!" The Void Frame just shakes his head and laughing he jumps right after his friend, his entire body jolts, as he mades first contact with the rift dimension, like a cold blanket the rift strechtes out around him and he looks to limbo, who is enoying this more than he should do. "So...and now we just walk past the lasers?", he asks and Limbo nods, then he is just sprinting to the lasers, and Harrow was about to warn him, but the lasers just pass right through the frame, Harrow tilts his head, curious about this, so Limbo wasn't hallucinatin, when he told him this. He shrugs and then runs after his boyfriend. "Limbo! Wait for me!", he yells and just als easily as Limbo, he's passing through the lasers. This will come in handy, when they are doing some other things, like guarding an important figure of the orokin reign. Limbo could take the person in the rift and the whole process would be much more easier. Laughing, Limbo leans against a wall, his entire pose is just relaxed and at ease with himself. "I have to thank you, you have showed me, that there is more than Margulis to care about", he says and Harrow leaves the Void with a quick dash, both are now standing before the console, where they should extract the Data, that there client is needing to make some further plans against the uprising cult, that worships profit. While Harrow is breaking into the systems, he talks to Limbo. "So...how did you find this Rift Dimension of yours?", he asks him curio and Limbo giggles, then while he answers, he let's his Dual Cestras swirl around his hands like the pistols are some kind of discus. "Well...it was a lot of calcutalion and field tests, but I've noticed that in the Void itself where...pockets. Little cracks in the air and when I've taken some probes of the Energy there I've come to make a marvelous discovery! That his energy isn't the same as in the Void, but it isn't the same as the energy from this dimension. So I figured it must have been another dimension. And as I had equipped myself with enough energy from this dimension I could enter it. And then the real fun begun! It is breathtaking how much the laws of physic and sience are variable if you have the key for that. For example, I can stop bullets in the Rift or movement itself with a single movement of my hands! I can demonstrate it later for you if you wish" "That would be awesome my dear", Harrow says and then he gives out a cry of joy. "Done it! We have the data!" And then all went to hell, when the alarm goes off. "We...should get out of here! And what did you do?!", screamed Limbo, while tey where running down the corridor, behind them are a few drones. "I did reset the course of the ship to the Orokin, so they can take care of this ship!", Harrow informs him and shoots a drone down with his vectis. "You should have told me that!", Limbo screams and he springs behind a corner, Harrow right behind him, crashing into him, both tumble to the ground, Harrow on top of Limbo. "Well...normaly I wouldn't mind this position, but I'm not a fan of Voyeurism, so you better stand up, my dear", Limbo states and Harrow only laughs at this statement, then he gets up and nods. "I've got it. But oh...then I should cancel the meeting with Nekros, right?" Limbo just sighs and then he says: "Why am I together with you?" "'Cause you love me? And I'm the only one that is brave enough to go near you?", Harrow says and shoots down another drone. "Oh yeah...because I'm the mad scientist, I forgot", Limbo then says and he sighes, looking up to Harrow. "Equinox was with me a few hours ago...she has warned me that the Rift is dangerous and that you shouldn't allow me to do something that dangerous. I told her to mind her own buisness and that it is not off her concern what I am doing and what we both are doing or not in our relationship" "Limbo...we are on a mission", Harrow reminds him. Limbo nods and then he stands up, the bullets of his Dual-Cestras are ripping apart all of the drones, that had followed them. "I know...I just wanted to say you that...", he says and Harrow grabs him by his shoulders, then he get's slam into the wall, Harrows Body presses against his and their helmet collides in a wild manner. Harrows Hands roaming over Limbos body and he whispsers: "As long as you are safe I don't care what you do...I just want you to be safe an whole, okay?" Limbo moans and then nods. "O-Okay...", he then says and Harrow nods, stepping back and then he teases Limbo: "How was that statement about Voyeurism again?" Limbo launches himself at Harrow, his arms come around the other and then they are both in the rift, the cold energy around Harrow and the warmth of Limbos body is sending a shiver down Harrows entire body. "Just shut up will you?", Limbo then says and both freeze, as a rumble goes through the entire ship. "What...was that?", Limbo asks and Harrow shurgs. "I don't know...but we should get going. Our Orbiters are waiting for us", he says and Limbo nods, then they both are running to the extraktion point, where their ships are waiting for them. Harrow kisses Limbo and then says: "We'll meat at the training hall, and then you show me what you can do with that Rift Stuff of yours, allright?" "Yes~", Limbo says and Harrow chuckels, then both of them hear a loud explosion and Harrow screams, as he watches how the ships get's torn apart, Limbo jumps into the rift, and tries to reach his Orbiter. "LIMBO! NO!!!", Harrow screams, the gap is to wide, Limbo won't make it! Then he watches with horrow, as the other Frame trys exactly that, he jumps, his entire body reaches out and he tries to riftwalk in the air, then energy swirls around him and Limbos gaze shifts to Harrow, he can hear his last wors: "I love you..." Then the frame itself explodes, blood sprays everywhere and Harrow can just scream in horror, as he sees his boyfriend and partner dieing right in front of his eyes.
With a sharp breath Harrow jolts awake, above him is Nekros, a worried expression with his voice, that calls his name constantly. "Harrow! Wake up...! Hey...! Are you...allright?", his boyfriend asks him and Harrow shakes his helment, then he just embraces Nekros in a hug, hides his helmet in his collarbone and cries. He was there when Limbo died...if he would have been more careful with the data, then Limbo might be alive and wouldn't be ashamed of his own death. "Harrow...", Nekros just holds him, then he sighs and cuddles closer to him. "Schhhhh....I'm here....I'm here for your my love....", he whispers full of love and Harrow just cries, mourning the death of Limbo, who died so many years ago. He was rebuilt, but it wasn't the same...Limbo has lost all of his memorys before his death. So there wasn't any point in trying to be together with him again. Harrow himself now has Nekros and Limbo has Equinox. You can't change the feelings of someone, just because you still have feelings for them. "I'm here....", Nekros whipsers and repeats it again, until he whispers it like a mantra, his hands comforting Harrow and he's trying his best to ease the pain that Harrow has right now. It must have been a very emotional nightmare, that the other frame had. "You want to tell me about it?", he then asks and Harrow nods, has calmed down a bit and then he starts to tell Nekros what he dreamed about. At the end of his story, Nekros sighs and then just hugs Harrow, pulls him closer to his chest. "Come here....I still love you, no matter what has happend in your past. And Limbo has Equinox now, so I'm not mad at you either. It was in the past. And the past doesn't matter anymore, because we can't change it. It still is horryfing to hear that you have whitnessed Limbos death...but please, don't make yourself accusations for what has happend. You couldn't prevent it...and Limbo does more than enough accusations for all of us", the Necromancer says and then he presses his helmet softly against that off Harrow. "I love you, Harrow...", he whispers. "I love you too....and thank you...", Harrow says, replying the same soft presure to Nekros Helmet.

Fear of Self
Orianna steps out of a portal into Yahti’s study. Flying through the pages of a book sits Drakar, the marshals sword at his side. Only on the note of Yahti’s voice does he stop. “Ori, you came. Thank you!” He speaks, not awaiting an answer: “The matter may not be live or death, but… it’s important.” “I can see that.” Orianna replies, “what is it?” “Names, doomed names!” he curses. Oriannas expression prompts him to continue: “Before the attack on maguma, Yahti told me about theories on the nature of the eternal alchemy. One of them was… How do I explain it.” He continues: “The idea is, our world is nothing more than the setting of a story. They explained it as a simulation. Like a book that you don’t read but... live through.” “And names change that idea in how far?” She leads, which strings Drakar along: “Your name. Orianna Dion, already tells your story. Janna, in an old human dialect, meant as much as ‘gift’ and Orr is the palace you gave back to the world. Dion as well, Dion...” “Of god and man.” She interrupts. Thrown back Drakar stares. “You know?” Orianna nods: “The priests at Queens Heart were almost as interested in my familie’s history as I was. But, what did you want to say.” Now calmer, Drakar continues: “You remember the bloodstone remnant?” Orianna nods again. “Yes, I believe” Drakar explains, “what happened that night. It turned you into what could have been considered a god.”
The hand of the Mursaat pushes into the gouging wound of her chest to grasp a shard of red glass. With a twist of his arm she jolts ins quiet pain. Before she falls unconscious, the bloodstone heart had taken to his will.
Yahti speaks up behind her: “The fact that your name mirrors your live so directly could speak as hypothesis for the idea of you being the protagonist of this worlds story.” Drakar nods, looking somewhat disturbed. To another question for explanation Yahti explains: “It could mean that we are, in effect, puppets with no agency. But that would also state that we are not conscious either, making that fact rather meaningless. But…” Orianna interrupts him: “Only what I need to know, please.” “Of course,” he replies, “on how you should act, or see the world, this question is entirely irrelevant.”
Hot beats her heart, pumping blood near violently, pulsing flows still hardening as they creep upon her skin. The Forgotten still leaning over her now speaks. “I have given you a chance. Do not waste it.” Shook Drakar runs back towards his friend, ripping the jacket from his back to press it into the wound. “I’m gonna fix this. Don’t worry.” Tears flow from his eyes as he feels the wet pressure pump, “Yahti’s getting help. Stay with me.” Moments flow, painfully, but then her hand lifts. A heartbeat of quiet stands between them, but Drakar cannot help but doubt.
“No! Nonono! No story is perfectly continuous. Most of the experiences of the characters never actually happen!” Drakar rants, but Yahti interrupts him: “That is irrelevant, because for the brief instances of their existence, they perceive their memories as real.” “But,” Drakar begins, yet Orianna interrupts him: “My name already has a story.” He looks on asking. “Yes, it does.” She continues, “They did call me Orianna, because my ancestros were one of the few families to escape Orr. To the priests at Queens Heart I was Orrs gift.” Drakars face paints a startled look, as she speaks, “And my family name, when Abaddon died, and Kormir ascended. Not all of Abaddons magic was absorbed by her. My” she’s unrolling her fingers as she counts “great great great grandfather had fallen only moments before Abaddons death. He believed he died that day. But the surge of magic must have revived him. And in, what my family history calls monumental hybris, he took the name Dion.” A smirk grows over Drakars face as silence falls over the room.
From the shadows a known face unveils. A warping sound. Then three run past, to the dying woman. “A pulse is there.” One speaks, “Commander? Can you hear me?” the other asks. “Good,” he continues, “we’ll stabilize you, the wound needs to stop bleeding both inside and out. Then we can get you out of here and fix you up.” A hand lays softly on Drakars shoulder, pulling him backwards. For a moment he hesitates. until a charr paw takes place besides his, on the cloth. “Good job. We got ’er. Keep the way clear.” She commands, breathing life into his heart for just a moment. Then he turns.
After a moment of silence, Drakar speaks up: “I,” “I will need to think about this one more time.” Orianna nods. “But,” Drakar speaks, “can I share a fear with you?” She answers: “Of course. It’s safe with me.” The Asura at her side nods too. “My name.” Drakar says, “it means as much as ‘dragon’ or ‘scaled beast’ and…” he gulps, “If the name theory is correct, that would mean…” But Orianna speaks up to interrupt him: “You’ve got to know Aurene, she’s a dragon.” “She might not be full-grown yet, but she’s not evil. So even if this theory is correct, there is no reason to believe you’ll turn evil.” But his anguish doesn’t fade. “I’ve done some bad things already.” He says, “I worked for the inquest. And Traherns death. And I was it, who lead you to the Fragment! Who had this monumentally dumbfounding idea!” “But It worked.” Orianna states “No one needs to worry about this shard anymore. And I didn’t die.” She receives a questioning look, “Not for long.. And Trahern. Mordremoth turned him into a vessel. You were just able to do what I couldn’t!” Silence moves in. Then she states: “You haven’t had bad intentions since your days at the inquest. Don’t think of yourself as anything but heroic. Please.” “I.” he looks back. “I will take that as an order, Commander.”
“Colour. It is truely good to see you!” Drakar states, still shivering with fear. The woman nods: “So it was worth keeping an eye on you.” she turns, “Don’t worry, she’s survived the hardest part already.” At the entrance of the cave Yahti waits. Pacing he speaks in a low voice: “This whole stealth thing makes me anxious. How do I know he” pointing at a construct “doesn’t hear me?” In reaction Drakar lays an arm onto his shoulder. Jokingly, the man wispers, “This does help.” “You aren’t hurt?” Drakar asks, being answered by a shaking head: “A few bruises. I’m surprised about it myself, but exordium was between me and the shard.” Drakars reply rings “Good.” before he turns towards the mesmer. “You have plans on how to get Ori out?” But his partner interrupts: “Not willing to talk about yourself?” More ashamed than irritated, Drakar answers: “That’s not it. Just nothing to report.” After a heartbeat Yahti replies: “That’s good news. Exactly what I hoped to hear.” Moments later the Mesmer answers his question: “A portal is prepared. Two others will bring us to the camp in the mountains. But Orianna will need better aid.”
Yahti reaches for Oriannas hand: “I will have a talk with Taimi, do you want to see what she’s up to this time?” “Of course.” She answers, “Hopefully not working herself to the bone again?” Moments after they exit the portal, Yahti speaks: “Thank you.” Orianna looks towards him. “I mean it!” He states. “I love this man from the depths of my heart, but he can’t stand on his own legs sometimes.” “He was asking pretty big questions there.” Orianna replies, “And… I can’t imagine how it must be, to believe you’re turning into one of your own people’s enemies.” “So you believe him?” Yahti asks. Yet Orianna rejects, “No. But I understand his fear.”
