Cons of pop culture witchcraft: None of this has really been done before, so you're basically on your own making things from scratch or trying to adapt something out of old stuff that doesn't quite fit, and also there's nobody you can really turn to if you have questions because you're all trying to figure it out as you go along.

something I personally struggle with is PTSD nightmares which often include a cycle of incomprehensible flashbacks and bizarre scenarios centered around my traumatic past

this has been getting better lately, thanks to a mix of antipsychotics, sedative PTSD meds, witchcraft, a bay leaf in my pillow case, and prayer.

I pray to both Hades + Persephone every night and then pray to The Morrigan until I fall asleep, usually mid-prayer.

well, last night, I had my new-normal dreams (a blend of equally incoherent- but less harmful- scenarios based in my past) with one new set of characters: policemen with crows’ heads where their human heads should be.

the very last thing that happened before I woke up was one policeman looking to the other and saying/screeching “you’re not a very good CAWWWp, are you?”, after which they both looked at me like Jim looks at the camera. and then I was awake

I like to think this is The Morrigan’s attempt at humor

This is a perfect example of my cat not letting me be a witch and do my witchy things. When I move her off my grimoire she just plops down on it again. Yes it’s probably time for bed, but I’m an adult and I should get to decide, damnit! Also when I get up to get tea or use the bathroom, she pushes my fountain pens off the desk.

I’m feeling especially isolated and I’d like to follow some new people

Every time when something happens.

Yesterday I got some herbs to do a ritual in the bath. A cleansing if you will.. something I desperately need. I am harboring a lot of negative energy in my heart over the death of my significant other.. and many others I’ve lost this past year due to substance abuse. Today, I am almost 40 days sober. but they were not so lucky. I remain heartbroken and weighed down.

If anyone else has any other suggestions for on what type of rituals or such I should do to wash this energy away I am open.

Since the past years I was always struggling with not enough pages in a notebook I've searched for a thicker one.

I... I might have too many pages now.

I didn't even imagine that could ever be the case but it seems like I need to think about more topics to include. Huh.

spent a VERY long time on making some sigils for someone’s sibling’s health today. which felt nice! except for that I’m disabled, I hurt myself by bending over for that long, and now I need someone to make sigils for MY health 😅
