That episode wouldve been perfect if the pacing was a liiiitle bit slower
#look i liked it i loved it i think there was a lot of dear work put in it it was genuinely a very cool episode and all#BUT i cant get it outta my head since j watched it that it was so QUICK#i know they had to fit it all in 20 minutes or so#but it was SO rushed to me#the first part was okay#and then we move to court and it was a biit fast and i have not processed what happening yet#we dwell a bit on the court thing so by now my emotions have properly landed#although i still wish it was a little longer#and then BAM blitz being executed that part is pretty cool#but the part where he sacrifices himself also let me wishing for a longer time#although i they probably did the best on that one#and then stolas arrives and starts singing out of the blue#which okay fair thats the point he jumps to singing#but i really wish they took a bit longer on A. him stopping the axe and B. he taking in all of the situation and trying to clear things up#and THEN starting his song#the song was *also* a bit quick to me and the transitions from one layer to the other felt a bit rushed#but who am i to tell the music professionals how to music#i mean i as the audience kind of can. but i feel like its not rlly that bad or anything its just that the WHOLE episode passed in a blink#didnt give time for my emotions to keep up with everything#helluva boss#helluva boss spoilers#helluva boss s2#helluva boss mastermind#mastermind#hb spoilers

#Alright I got tragically interrupted while watching it but I'm finally finished watching the episode!!#It's really really good both the animation and drawings are very detailed compared to the rest of the anime but...#The pace is so off :((( Like it's not the end of the world but ugh. It's unfortunate...#So many things just don't hit off as deeply because everything is moving so fast all the time and there's no time to process anything.#They won't allow you one second for the last line of a scene to sink in that the next scene's ost is already playing.#And like it's not even the worst crime an anime can commit I guess but still...#I wish they didn't. Like rather than make a 13 episodes season and squeeze the Sky Casino arc in merely two episodes it would have been–#a lot better to finish the season at the previous episode and make 12 episodes out of everything (so that everything could be better paced)#Like yeah maybe it's not the best season ending that there can be but... It's not terrible either‚ you have Atsushi saying the line–#“there's still hope” and the season ending there‚ that's pretty cool#I don't know why everyone feels like they have to rush all the time.#Guys do I have to be the one to remind you you make more money if more season come out.#Like how can the knowledge of Sigma being made by the book have any kind of impact when we've only known him for ten minutes.#Teruko's looking mad AND looking cutesy AND blowing up the landing zone didn't have the same comedic effect they did in the manga because..#It just happened all together! I picked chestnuts today :D
#this time of year is lovely...#cool mornings and hot afternoons#the tomatoes and squash are still producing yet things are starting to wind down and transition to nuts and winter squash etc#i have so many fond memories of harvesting chestnuts#my sisters and i would take our neon pink and orange plastic pumpkin buckets down to the woods#wearing bicycle helmets#laughing and singing and making weird vocalizations to scare the chipmunks (and supposedly bears) away#kicking through the leaf litter searching for the glistening chestnuts#or breaking open the burrs with our shoes and using metal tongs to get the nuts lol#but this morning i realized suddenly i had sweat dripping down my forehead and i felt sad#it's ridiculously hot#and everything feels different now#the seasons i knew as a kid are becoming unrecognizable#and beyond that. im sad that I am alone in this joyful labor#anyway yall chestnutsssssss

i mean, i know i present very feminine, and im okay with she/her pronouns, so it doesnt seem like im genderqueer, but i am. and i know that can seem kinda alarming to a lot of people because how are you supposed to know? you don't know, and thats okay with me, im not going to be upset if you get it wrong. but there are people in my life that i've told a thousand times and they still dont get it.
the truth is, it's not hard to respect my gender identity. im fine with pretty much anything, so you cant really get it wrong.
but then youre visibly uncomfortable with how I live my life.
i dont dress feminine enough
i dont shave
i dont plan on getting married and im not sure how i feel about having kids.
you dont judge my brothers about these things. but you judge me.
and i think you should respect any woman or man or genderqueer person for all of the criteria above and more.
but when you judge me, i feel like you don't actually take me seriously when i say im genderqueer. i dont think you get it. i think you just see a girl who is not good enough and you only love me despite these things.
you said it was fine when i said i was genderqueer. i dont think you meant it.
