Ordis goes, "Getting blood all Over my codex table, he has a ROOM you know," Then, "If you weren't here to help..." then, "This is acceptable" as he's snuggled by a dozing drifter.

At the bottom, Hunhow says, "Shadow, what the hell took you so long?" And stalker responds, "Our drifter is an idiot."

Next panel, Hunhow goes, "So... its our drifter, now?" And stalker goes "DONT."

    The moment you hit the force field, nothing mattered to Finnick anymore.

    He was supposed to care about the Mockingjay and her lover. He was supposed to care about getting them out of the arena safely. He was not supposed to care about some girl he met at the Capitol. He was not supposed to care about this previous Victor who had been forced into prostitution just as he had been.

    The moment you hit the force field, nothing mattered to Finnick anymore except getting you to breathe again.

    He pushed Peeta out of the way as soon as he said your heart had stopped. Finnick started CPR.

    “Come on, sweet girl.” Finnick encouraged between filling your lungs with his breath. “You’re not gonna quit on me that easy, right...? We still have so much to do...I have so much to tell you...Come on, baby...Come on...Come on, come on!”

    As Finnick was pumping your chest hard to try to get something to happen, something did.

    You took a big gulp of air, and slowly opened your eyes. “Finn...?”

    He didn’t know what to do with himself. “Y/n?” He took you in his arms and hugged you. “Thank you, thank you.” He didn’t know who or what he was thanking. Finnick pulled you back to look at you, and he saw that you were still a little out of it. He cupped the side of your face with his hand. “Keep your eyes open,” he softly pleaded. “Just keep them open.”

    “...me,” you mumbled.

    “What?”

    “Why did you save me?” you spoke a little clearer. “I’m...I’m not planning on making it out of here a second time.”

    Those words tore a hole through Finnick’s heart. He put on a smirk to hid the pain and leaned down to whisper in your ear. “Well, I have a plan that’ll get us all out of here. You, me, Peeta, Mags, and Katniss. Just keep going for me, okay?” His words were low enough that the people around him didn’t hear, he doubted that a single camera picked up what he had said.

    You had no reason to believe him. Not without some follow up questions, at least. But Finnick knew you would believe his words. It was the same reason you believed him in the Capitol when he said that holding each other would protect you both from nightmares. And it did. So that was why you got up, without question, and continued leading your small pack through the jungle.

*Extended Ending*

    Almost as soon as the sliding door on the hovercraft opened,  Finnick was rounding the table to get to you. “Y/n.”

    “Finnick?”

    He explained, “We’re going to District 13. We all got out. You, me, Peeta, Katniss. It’s all okay.” He hugged you as tight as he could, then pulled back so he could rest his forehead on yours. “Can I kiss you?” It had been all he wanted to do since you had gotten free.

    “There’s no more cameras around?” was all you asked in return.

    Finnick shook his head.

    Without another word, you pulled him in by the shirt he was wearing. You kissed Finnick for the first time.

    He lost all control and all but slammed you against a nearby wall in his desperate attempt to get closer to you.

    That was as far as you and Finnick before Haymitch broke the two of you up, claiming he wanted to “shield the eyes of the young.”
