*Emerges from the research mines* Hey, did you know that Miss Fisher would have had to take a driving test in Melbourne before (or right after) collecting her Hispano? And driving exams were conducted by the police.

Imagine Jack being informed that there's someone at the station for a driving test, and when he finds out that it's Miss Fisher in a hired car he tells the poor constable allotted to the task that he'll handle it. He's not inflicting this woman's inevitably terrifying driving on anyone else.

And goddamnit, she's actually very competent.

A: Of the fanfic you��ve written, which is your favorite and why?

I have a particular soft spot for In the City Where the Sun Don't Set and it's sequels, but I am loving What a Difference a Day Makes. (And I PROMISE. I'm updating it soon!)

B:  What was the first fandom you read fic in?  Which was the first you wrote fic for?

I am like, 99% sure that it was for Newsies (both musical and film) and the first fanfic is for that as well. It's not up anymore, but I'm SURE that I can find it.

Two souls

Like the stars, we come out at night. gleaming smiles full of light, we dance around under stars and I think to myself how lucky we are, two souls so close in proximity and as happy as can be. A love so life full and glee, had a dark side. Weary and cold like the rings of Saturn, that love that we had followed a distinct pattern. We bitter and bark at each other, spewing words of toxin. Back and forth we go, more and more until we explode. We tell each other we need a break but that deal had sealed our fate. On with our life’s we go, but our memories will sit until we forget what made us so mad and then we’d dive head first back into the bad.
