Whispers of Stars in the Meadow

I am standing alone in the meadow, Gazing at the starry sky, Where the stars twinkle, soft and low, And the moon whispers a gentle sigh.

The green expanse with flowers bright, Dances with the wind, so free, Yet in my heart, there’s no delight, A storm inside, unknown to see.

Life is hard, like a tidal wave, Crashing down, pulling me deep, I try to rise, but I feel the grave, Lost in thoughts, no peace to keep.

O dear star, O dear moon, Guide me through this endless night, Lead me to a life in bloom, Where warmth and joy are shining bright.

As the days pass, I wonder still, Am I a shadow, fading fast? But no, I will not bend to ill, For I am here, and I will last.

No, I do exist, with strength untold, A journey not yet written whole.

I wish the world and especially schools had more acceptance for all kinds of people and more respect for everyone's individuality. I wish adults modeled that for us kids to learn the same. I do have some good memories too (will probably write about them in another post). I'm very grateful to know some people I met in school. They have been genuinely kind and loving to me. 🌼 I'll miss the building, I'll miss the routine. School had become a habit, and habits are hard to do away with. But a major part of my memories of school are the ones that I didn't deserve. But they’ll always remain with me. My Thoughts on.. №16: History. It's the one thing we have to learn from. It's the only evidence there is as for how certain actions and events can or will turn out. It also is impossible to rewrite, no matter how much and how many people have tried. History itself doesn't change. Discoveries about it, how it's being perceived, and the lessons we take from it will change, all the time. Let's not get stuck in the past, and let's not try to erase it also. Let's use it to get and do better.

My Thoughts on.. №15: Social media. I think it's a great thing that we have so much of the world at our fingertips at any given moment. And we can shape and use the platform however we like, as long as it's within its constraints. But this also means that you will inevitably create and stay within your own bubble, inside the bubble that is the platform itself. The more you use social media, the more narrow your bubble tends to become, while you may feel like it's expanding but all that you discover is probably more of the same. I find that too many people think their bubble represents the world and that therefore it is the be-all and end-all. Please be aware that the same exact social media that makes you feel whole, will tear you apart one way or another. Proceed with caution.
