A weekend spent exploring the woods
Many people say that in autumn, the forest is at its most beautiful. And I must agree. More so, when the golden light of sunset shines. Walking amidst the calmness and gold, on crunching leaves. Mushrooms rising from yesterday's rain.
We were exploring a nearby site, where there used to be a medieval castle, but it was burned in world war II. Some structure remained. And you can see there was once a building by the elevated grass. It is situated at the top of the hill with a wide view. Perfect for viewing incoming enemies. The castle had at its back a mighty forest, that runs deep into the mountains. All kinds of myths were told about this place. Some are even haunted. We plan on going exploring more, near Halloween, through branches and golden paths.
