Continuing my summarizing of Project 2025. Chapter 6 deals with the Department of State and plans to:

1) Exert pressure on the Senate to place appointees directly into their positions, pending confirmation.

2) Place political appointees in positions that do not require Senate confirmation

3) Replace all current appointees by the end of the first day of the new president’s term

4) The next Administration should …”both accept the resignations of all political ambassadors and quickly review and reassess all career ambassadors” well before the new Administration’s first day.

5) Provide financial support only to nations or organizations which benefit the US and reinstate Trump’s withdrawal of funds from the UN Human Rights Council, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, and the WHO.

6) Prohibit the use of taxpayer dollars to promote abortion or population control with a view to withholding U.S. funds

7) Treat international organizations as vehicles for promoting American interests or withdraw from those organizations

8) Ensure that future foreign assistance unambiguously supports the President’s foreign policy agenda
