Started reading The Bad Wingmen by @topazshadowwolf and @paddie-ut and it utterly possessed me for a few days so I needed to draw some of my favourite bits
#UTDR#UTMV#Dadmare#Dust Sans#Killer Sans#Nightmare Sans#Balance Toriel#You ever read a fanfic so good you have to draw 4 pages worth of moments from it?#I think I probably could have done more but I needed to have some self control so this post wouldn't be enormous lol#I didn't expect to get so invested in this one but the Dust and Killer interactions really fascinate me#They're so chaotic and they get at each other's throats even though they're not that different but they have each other's backs deep down#I'm just. They're brothers your honour and I love to see it#Almost all of these are from one chapter but the whole thing is so good#Fuzzynight is growing on me I'm excited to see more of these two#And don't get me started on Nightmare's unruly kids trying to set him up because they want him to be happy#It's eternally sweet but also hilarious#The real question is are they still grounded now that Nightmare and Lyra have agreed to date?#The answer is almost certainly yes but I feel like they'll still argue they should get a reduced punishment for being right (and helping)#Also I tried to do the dappled sunlight effect you described with the last picture because it was so vivid to me#And I love to see a rare moment of Dust and Killer at peace with each other#Oh my god there are four million tags I'm sorry tldr I love this fic I want to print it out and eat it okay goodbye!!#My Art

i am a horrible driver because my anxiety is so bad that my brain shuts off and so i just stop driving in the middle of crowded intersections, etc. i have a history of this. it's not good!
however, sometimes i'm like, "i'm an adult! (in years only.) i can drive! (i can't.) i don't need to always be an inconvenience to everyone i know! (i do.) i'll just drive this short distance, like a normal!" and then suddenly i'm on the road zoned out from terror not realizing the light is and HAS BEEN green and people are honking angrily as they pass by, staring at me with deep concern and rage.
I HATE DRIVING! I'M NOT MADE FOR IT!

hellooo!! i lovelovelove your art so much and you were one of the people that inspired me to start drawing a couple years ago, so thanks for that.
i was wondering if you have an opinion on Roy/Wolt or Woy i guess (dumbest ship name ever lololol) and if you do, do you have any art or comics with them together?
Aww, that’s so sweet, thank you for sending me this! It’s heartening to know I’ve had that kind of impact on others. 🥹
IMO Roy and Wolt effectively see themselves as brothers, so no, I don’t ship them. I get why it’s a thing— not a lot of characters close in age if you want a m/m ship for either of them— but idk, Klein is right there??
At any rate my main takeaway from their relationship in-game is the heartbreaking drama of Wolt having to watch his little brother be hardened into part of the war machine from a middle distance, lest he (per his own flawed understanding of the hierarchy) be demoted or discharged and lose his only means of doing something to help Roy survive… which I don’t feel my style of comic would be very effective at capturing LOL. I do like writing stuff with them, though, including more lighthearted pre- and post-game fare; Wolt features a good amount in this fic I wrote a few years ago that I’m still really proud of. the rest of it is in WIP limbo with the other 95% of my fanfic, oops

I'm not sure how to put this exactly, but. In some episodes, we really get to see Stan show some qualities, we get to see why Dorothy still had some good times with him, and that makes the whole 38-year-marriage-turned-bitter-divorce worse to me. Because it means he had it in him to be a good person and a good husband all that time and he just didn't choose to be.
#once again thinking about dorothy's marriage. it truly is my roman empire#this thought was sparked by watching s4e10: stan takes a wife#and he is genuinely not that bad in that episode! he's cheap and wears a girdle#but he's also supportive of dorothy. sweet. he helps her get much needed information on sophia. (though he did get her favorite food wrong)#and his fiancée seems to genuinely love him so he can't be that bad to her#but then this is the same man that made 38 years of dorothy's life horrible#cheated on her all throughout their marriage#insults her often and happily#left her for a young girl without even having the decency to tell her in person#and it's just. if he was horrid all the time it would be one thing#but *some* times he actually behaves like a decent person. so he knows how to do it!#he just doesn't think it was worth it to be that person for dorothy#and that feels so much worse to me#anyway. kudos to blanche and rose for stopping dorothy from making the biggest mistake of her life in the most hilarious possible way#they were a pleasure to watch#(this is also why the s6 plot where dorothy almost marries him again was always so strange to me?? like. i don't think they'd let her)#(or they'd at least try to convince her otherwise)#the golden girls
