i have more conspiracies about MASH that may or may not be true, but ive decided they are. they also just might have been explained, but im dumb, and cant remember. heres your sequel.
in 7x3 where hawkeye tackles bj, bj goes "AAH!' and hawkeye says 'WRONG! THAT STARTS WITH AN H!'. this is because mike farrell's line was 'hey!' but due to the force and drama of the scene, just Yelped instead.
All the dogs that turned up that never appeared again [like the one bj and hawk "ate" when they were trying to scare a visitor, dogs seen in 1 shot, etc] were just dogs that the production crew/cast owned and wanted to bring to work/volunteered their animal for acting duty
in the handful if scenes where hawkeye is actually knitting [and not using the red yarn, for the reason given in the previous edition], hes making a blankie for erin. [co-credit my sibling]
klinger got his ears pierced during the course of the show, starting with clearly just clip-ons and then later declares he doesnt want his ears to close up. some say continuity error, I say commitment (and also it would probably be easier to find real earrings instead of clip-ons)
in s7e2 Peace on Us, no one told bill christopher to tie that red streamer around his neck, he just thought it would be silly
in s7e2 Peace on Us, again, no one told alan alda to drive the jeep back to camp with his leg up like that. he just knows the character well enough to make that call. which he's correct about
the scar on hawkeye's lip was caused by a fishhook in his youth. got called Troutboy a long time afterward because of it.
bj is a vaseline girlie and takes good care of his hair as well.
hawkeye sniffs food because, having grown up partly during the depression, eating spoiled food was a real risk, so giving it a good ol' sniff-test was a given
fr mulcahy cares deeply about his appearance and engages in more grooming activities than any other guy in camp [the shower cap, always looking perfect, owning gardening gloves, manicured hands and feet, etc]. he even irons his stole on a bi-weekly basis and launders his clerical collars
hawkeye's issues with people leaving and not saying goodbye began with his mother after she passed, since his father didnt want him to worry
on nights where charles goes to bed after the other two, he will occasionally clean up a little bit. this contributes to why he's so pissed in 'Pressure Points'- he's been doing his own cleaning and some of theirs without them noticing or caring.
once again these are all just things that came to mind while watching, i didnt think too hard on them. the only one 'researched' on was the food sniffing, solely because i needed to do Year Math lol

okay so ages ago on the Bird Hellsite I saw someone make a coat entirely out of worm on a strings so now we have that incredibly cursed mental image right. My question to you is who in the TTA cast would be most likely to wear that thing and why is it Steve?
Oh, I met someone who did that a few years ago! Might have been the same person tbh.
I think a number of the minor characters would happily wear it, but the one most likely to make it would be Ash from the ghost hunting arc. Steve would wear it too, but Adam could make it work.
I had a grudge for years against worm on a string though... It was 2014. Flying across the country with my art class for the final judging of a competition. New York City, baby. Every day was constant activity; always going to a different event, a different activity, a different project...
And the stage was set: A small budget for the ILNY tourist store, two exhausted teenagers, and a misleading ad. The sound was off, and without captions we were left to assume... And we believed if the worms got wet, they would squirm. It made sense why they were $20 with technology like that.
Me and my best friend bought the worm on a string. We named him... Hal. It was all we talked about that day, the anticipation of getting back to the hotel.
Finally we get to our room. I was more excited about this than about being in the top 5 for a contest with a $50,000 prize. We opened the package, deterred by none of the signs, confirmation bias in full force... What's this string? Oh, it must be so they don't squirm away and get lost!
Fools.
Two fools standing over the bathroom sink, Hal in ones hands, and the other turning on the faucet. Nothing. A gentle shake of the lifeless soggy body. Still nothing.
And then the dawning realization: The worm was never gonna squirm around. We were duped.
How could we let that go... For years, I didn't.
I've since developed a fondness. It was never Hal's fault. We were exhausted, not thinking straight, and we blamed him for our own failure. I can only try to make amends... But I truly believe Hal never held resentment in his fuzzy blue heart.
Anyways we got second place and then the next year we won but that's less important.

okay here's a mini-rabbit hole cuz my mind is being blown rn
so there was this cartoon called wow wow wubbzy on nick jr. it never aired where i live but i did play a bunch of the flash games they had on their website.
they were cool games but i think just the aesthetic with this simple shapes and all that is why it stuck out to me as a child. today i was bored and decided to revist them and because now i can actually understand english, i went to the wiki. one of the articles was about the artbook "The Art of Wubbzy" and it had this:
this sounded super weird. i assumed it was maybe some creepypasta nonsense cuz i was a Wikia Kid myself and most of the users were probably children. but it did elaborate on it later in the article.
(im just putting a 'read more' so your dash isnt too cluttered, there isn't anything super disturbing here or anything like that)
now if it was just the second picture, i would doubt that, but the other two sound too specific and not overtly scary enough for children to make up. luckily, the article had a link to a free pdf on scribd. so i scrolled through like 50 pages of normal artwork, and sure enough, the pictures were actually there!
i expected them to be at the end or something but no, each of them is scattered among tens of pages of usual production artwork. there's like no warning or anything, it's jarring, and would probably spook an 8-year old me. but the pictures do look a bit shoddy so i tried to see if there was some Physical evidence in the printed version.
that's the first picture they described! it's here! from a concerned parent it seems! and there's a youtube video of someone flipping through the book! you can see the "creepy art" next to the usual production artwork.
so here's the question... why would you put this in a book about a lil kid show? and why am i finding out about this just now? "vent art" like this isn't that rare, you've probably seen the very gory edit of "The Enchiridion" title card or heard of the edgy rugrats storyboards the animators made. these are relatively well-known, so i really feel i should've seen it. well, i don't have an answer, but i have a hunch.
recall the note that started it all. the SECOND edition. so it's not like it was removed due to backlash, it was Added later! you'll have an easier time buying the creepypasta version. but here are the dates:
that's a 14 year gap! that's long enough that anyone who watched wubbzy in its day is at least a teenager now! so my theory is, that since wubbzy is way past its cultural relevance and people with familiar with the show are Older, bob boyle (the creator) or the publisher at frederator decided to have some fun and show the world a lil peak behind the scenes. though, the pictures appearing with no context or explanation between storyboards and backgrounds makes it feel more like a sort of prank. idk how to end posts but thx 4 readin

i don't have a lot of fame and i probably shouldn't ever, given how much surreal joy i get from seeing the kenstewy community on twitter refer to me as a guardian angel or some other kind of mythical being, thanking me for making an apparently legendary edit that was my only tweet ever, all while calling me my full name that i just made my twitter handle like a dumbass. yes i do sometimes search my full name on twitter purely to see these posts. and i squeal and kick my legs up and down on the bed. fuck off

i’m still not talking about the game i’m playing and obsessing over (sorry, one look at the fandom means it’s typically the type of games i don’t want to connect with people over unless they’re people i already trust) but i’m laughing so hard
because, there’s one chara i was obsessing over so hard that when i found his figurine in the manga store i somewhat bought it right away while i was still very early in the game, and i knew people hates this chara because of something he did later in game (i’m calling, betrayal and murders) and i had vague spoilers about what his deal was about but i couldn’t completely put those spoilers back in context
so there was a moment of fear of, was buying the figurine a good idea? would i finish the game thinking his crimes are too much for me to bear? (i mean i do have figurines for characters i don’t really like so i doubt i would really resent the buy since it’s a pretty figurine, but yaknow?)
But now i’m at a point where, they didn’t reveal what his deal is yet, but i have most of the pieces to know more or less what his crime is, and most of all, he’s currently lying extremely blatantly to everyone while going very 😇 about it (lies i only can totally figure out because of the spoilers i know), and i’m absolutely hysterical because it actually makes him even more my type than he was at the start of the game where he just seemed cheeky yaknow?
i was told everywhere this character’s twist is enough to have people hate him and instead the more i’m building to the twist the more i’m absolutely hysterical because he’s taking all the steps to be an Ultimate Fav Of Mine by checking all the boxes for my dubious fav character type (Sweet Talker, Criminal, and Massive Hypocrite Liar). I’m living.
