hey ange! how would the ros take care of a sick mc? totally not asking this because i have a nasty cold and can barely get out of bed and need the comfort, not at all 😔👉👈

Aw I'm sorry it took me time to answer, hope you got better!! (i had a cold for a few days as well and even bending over was tiring 🥲)

Xander would try to look up some grandma remedies or little things to help make it better. Like chamomile, honey... He'd fluff up the pillows and make sure you rest, taking over the chores and work. He'd be even more attentive to notice any sign of discomfort and ready to go out in the middle of the night for a specific thing you want.

Charlotte is a worry wart, she'd constantly put her hand on your forehead to see if you've got a fever. She'd give you snacks to hide the taste of meds (she personally hates it), and she'd stick by your side so much she'd catch whatever illness you had. Role reversal! <3

Dione is making sure you follow the doctor's orders to a T. Who cares if she has to force you down and tuck you in bed. She'd avoid physical contact-- because even the idea of being ill pisses her off. Still, she'd be comforting, watching over you, silently bringing tissues or water or heating pads. If you insist enough, she'll rub soothing circles on your back when you're about to sleep.

Perceval becomes a househusband. Cooking warm meals, preparing a soapy perfumed bath, letting you hang your head on xyr shoulders and complain. Xe would give you some annotated copies of xyr favorite books to distract you as well. Would def make a cocoon with xyr wings to keep you all safe and warm. Litteraly at your beck and call.

Crescent takes days off and spends them lying with you, cuddling in bed. They'd ask a friend to drop by some food. They're like a cat, stretching around the sheets and curling up against you, a warm solid presence. They wouldn't do much else, letting you take your meds and rest and wait it out. They'd think you look kinda cute even if you're tired, with teary eyes from coughing and a runny nose. Peppers you with kisses.

At the sight of his Buffy holding a stake against Spike chest Angel is shocked and horrified for a fraction of a section before he reacts, running into the apartment, breaking the door open as he goes.

“Buffy? What do you think you’re doing?” Angel asks angrily, focused on her but noticing that Xander, Willow, Giles, and Anya who he recognizes from thanksgiving, are watching him.

“Angel?” Buffy asks shocked. “What do you mean what am I doing? It’s Spike!” Buffy says, not moving the stake from close to Spike’s chest.

“And from what I understand he can’t defend himself right now,” Angel says, noticing the signs that tell him that Spike hasn’t been eating enough, though he suspects the humans either haven’t realised or don’t care enough to realise, as he walks over and knocks the stake out of Buffy’s hand as he isn’t going to let a stake be that close to Spike when he has proven to be suicidal, especially when Buffy is the one holding it.

“Okay, who went blabbing to Daddy?” Spike asks irritated, his voice sounding too much like Drusilla’s voice when she is completely out of it for Angel’s liking.

“Daddy?” Xander asks confused, and a little amused.

“You mean who did what you should have done and called me, Boy?” Angel asks, giving Spike a look he recognizes from his fledgling days.

“Didn’t think you’d care,” Spike mutters, his voice only loud enough for Angel to hear, as he looks down at the ground, all his bravo and defensiveness falling away as it is clear he is just too tired to hold up that persona when Angel is acting the way he is.

“You were wrong,” Angel says, and Spike looks up at him, “You were wrong,” Angel repeats, as they lock eyes and an understanding passes between them, and understanding so strong that Spike looks down at the ground again, before he gets caught up in possibilities.

“Spike? You’re here for Spike?” Buffy asks shocked, feeling incredibly confused.

“Someone has to be! He clearly isn’t looking after himself,” Angel says, and it says a lot to him that Spike doesn’t argue that point.

“He’s a mass murderer he doesn’t need looking after,” Xander says, feeling pretty sure that he made a big mistake by calling Angel.

“Then why did you call me?” Angel asks, trying to tell if Spike just hasn’t been eating or if there is more going on with him.

“You called Angel?” Buffy asks shocked, looking at Xander.

“Willow insisted,” Xander explains, trying to get attention of him.

“Hey!” Willow exclaims, not liking the fact that all attention is now on her.

“Will?” Buffy asks, looking almost betrayed.

“He tried to stake himself, Buffy,” Willow reminds her. “And you’ve seen it, Spike hasn’t been alright since he escaped from the Initiative,” Willow admits. “And I just thought Angel could help,” Willow reveals.

“And you didn’t think to ask what I bloody wanted?” Spike asks, looking around at the group, most of whom are looking at Ange and not him.

“What do you want, Spike?” Giles asks him, truly caring about the answer.

“This sodding chip removed, and if that is not going to happen then a quick dusty end,” Spike tells everyone.

“That’s not going to happen,” Angel tells him.

“And why not, Angelus?” Spike asks, clearly trying to bait Angel into hurting him. “I’m useless, weak, pathetic, everything you made me not to be,” Spike reminds him, and various people around the room exchange looks at the ‘you made me,’. “If Darla was here….”

“She’s not,” Angel says, an edge to his voice, as he knows exactly what Spike is about to say. “I am, and I’m not going to let you just die,” Angel tells Spike, clearly speaking to just him at that and Spike isn’t sure how to feel as after over a hundred years Spike is certain that showing care like this is something he has only seen from Angelus twice before, and the first time he can barely remember.

“Angel, if Spike…” Buffy starts to say.

“NO!” Angel raws. “Spike is under my protection, even if I have to protect him from himself, he’s not going to die!” Angel explains and Buffy realises that she has never, ever, seen him so forceful about something and she can’t believe that the first time she is seeing this is because of Spike.

“Okay,” Buffy says, to everyone’s shock. “Then he can’t stay in Sunnydale, we can’t be with him all the time, too many demons know him, and the initiative is here,” Buffy says, trying desperately not to think about Riley and all the complications he presents right now as she has to focus on what is currently going on.

“I know,” Angel says, taking a step close to Spike, resisting the urge to reach out and touch him. “William,” Angel says, and Spike avoids looking at him. “William look at me,” Angel requests, and Spike continues to avoid him and honestly he would rather Buffy and the Scoobies not be around for this, but he knows what he has to do. “William please, look at me,” Angel says and the simple use of please is enough for Spike to look at Angel. “I want you to come back to LA with me, I will help you, we’ll figure out how you can live with this chip,” Angel promises Spike.

“I don’t want to live, Sire, not like this,” Spike admits, as everyone other than Angel look confused at Spike calling Angel sire as, from what they know, Drusilla sired him.  

“Well, I want you to,” Angel tells him. “William, please, come back with me, let me help you figure out how to live like this,” Angel says to him, an undertone of pleading to his voice.

“Like before?” Spike asks, both of them knowing what he is talking about.  

“Better than before,” Angel says. “I’m not Angelus anymore, it won’t be like he was,” Angel says to Spike, making him a promise.

“I don’t know who I am anymore,” Spike admits, as ever since he was turned he was a fighter, now he can’t do that, and he doesn’t know what that will mean.

“Then let me help you figure it out,” Angel says to him, reaching out and putting his hand against Spike’s cheek. “Dusting yourself, or baiting someone else into doing it for you, isn’t the answer,” Angel tells his, making everyone realise exactly what Spike has been doing the last few days.

“Then what is?” Spike asks, sounding so defeated that Angel just wants to wrap his arms around him and keep him safe.  

“I don’t know, but we’ll figure it out, together,” Angel tells him, and Spike nods, it’s a small nod, but it’s enough for Angel, so he moves his hand away from Spike’s cheek. “Where’s your jacket?” Angel asks, realising that Spike looks so much smaller without his duster on.

“Here,” Buffy says, picking up Spike’s duster of the chair and handing it to Angel. “Guess you’re going already,” Buffy says, feeling a lot of conflicting emotions.

“Yeah, I just came for Spike,” Angel explains, and he turns to Willow, not seeing the look of hurt on Buffy’s face. “Thank you,” he says to her.

“You’re welcome,” Willow responds.

“Well, can’t say it’s been fun,” Spike says, looking around at everyone “Let’s go,” Spike says and with a gentle hand on the small of Spike’s back Angel leads him out of the apartment.

“Angel,” Giles says once Spike and Angel are outside, and Angel turns around. “If Spike reveals anything else about the group that held him…” Giles starts to say.

“I’ll let you know,” Angel responds, as he and Spike continue to head to the car.

“Is there anything else you need to get?” Angel asks Spike as they get to the car.

“No, let’s just get out of here,” Spike responds and they both get into the car and drive away from Giles’s apartment.

Cordy has a teddy bear back pack and it's adorable.

Ange freezing up at Buffy mentioning children because he can't have any. Well buddy, do I have news for you. But you're going to have to wait about 4 years for that surprise.

Future talk. All they see is each other and that is not all that healthy. It's nice to think that someone maybe in your life for a long time, but you also need to have your own wants, needs and goals outside of them. They will have this conversation again in season 7 but it will be much different as they will have grown as people.

Oh look, Mr Whitmore. He's been excavating all day

Buffy got home at 2:45am. Oh shit, no wonder she is in trouble.

Willow got turned by the Bezoar xenomorph.

Xander wanted to try and eat it. It's a good thing he notices what it was before he bit into it.

Giles and Joyce talk about their co-parenting of Buffy, before Giles put a Bezoar baby on her to turn her.

At least Giles did the research before going into drone mode. That was good of him.

He says it's over but will be back again next season for 'Homecoming'

Buffy is not technically breaking any rules by kissing Angel at her window. though she better get as many of those as she can as the next two episodes are going to be rough.

Next episode, Buffy turns 17 and starts the tradition of things going wrong around or on her birthday. Fun.

She sighed, tucking her hair behind her ear as another investor approached her. Her lips twisted to a small smile, faking her happiness when her father followed. "Hello dear," Her father greeted, "This is Mr. Martin, one of our biggest investors." Hazelle reached out to shake his hand, grimacing as she thanked the investor. "My daughter, Hazelle." Her father motioned to her, a smile playing on his lips. The man started another talk about how thankful the company must be, she could see the tiredness behind her father's smile. "If you don't mind, I'll be accompanying other guests." She interrupted, quickly walking away before Mr. Martin could open his mouth to complain. She exhaled a breath she didn't notice she held, her hold on the stem of glass slowly loosening. She hid in the balcony, huffing from the sudden cold. She knew the room was stuffy but didn't think it was that bad.

The view was majestic. The clouds painting the sky, the rolling mountains dotted with lights from the city below. Her peaceful silence was soon interrupted as another entered. He was breathing heavily, sighing as he leaned onto the railing. Hazelle sucked in a breath, subtly moving away from him. The boy gazed at his phone before looking up, making their eyes meet. The boy's face dropped, all color fading away. "I am so, so sorry! Di ko napansin na may ibang tao pala dito-" (I didn't notice that someone else is here-) He exclaimed, nervously running his hand through his hair. "No- no, it's um. It's alright." She reassured. "Kaya kong umalis kung gusto mo," (I can leave if you want) He suggested. Hazelle shook her head, placing her drink on the railing. "No it's alright, I really don't mind."

"It's uh- it's a lovely view isn't it?" He added, his eyes looking out on the landscape. Hazelle hummed, gazing and admiring. "Nandito ka rin ba to escape from the bustle inside?" (Are you also here to escape from the bustle inside?) She asked, turning to look at Xander. He slowly nodded, subtlety fiddling with a button on his coat. The way his unkempt hair framed his face, it was.. mesmerizing. The light pink shade on his cheeks, and how the golden sunlight shined on him. She blushed as she caught herself staring, diverting her gaze back to the scenery below. He smiled when he sneaked glances at her, marveling at her beauty. "So what brought you here?" He began.

The red sunset faded behind them as they laughed, their drinks have long gone warm. He gazed at her earnestly, studying her features and committing them to memory. Her warm smile, the soft tint of pink tainting her cheeks from the cold, the bright shine in her eyes. Even the world's greatest painter could never bring justice to her beauty. "Ay, I never asked for your name." She chuckled, placing her drink on the railing. She tilted her head in confusion, Xander blinked. "Ah! I- it's um, Xander! Xander Cuison" He exclaimed, a bright red blush spreading across his face. "What- Ano ang sayo?" (What's yours?) He stuttered, she chuckled. Gods he can listen to that laugh till the end of time. "Hazelle." She replied, a soft smile painting her face. "What a lovely name."

The two continued their conversation until a notification rang from her phone. She glanced, her smile dissolving to a frown. "What's wrong?" Xander asked, concern washing over his face. "I- I have to go." Hazelle exclaimed, scrolling through the conversation. She hurriedly fixed her appearance before rushing towards the door, halting as she opened it. "Have a good night.", she smiled at him and he could only smile back as she disappeared into the room.

I don't like Evolution so far...

You know, I've been watching evolution and I gotta say... I don't like i so far, at least not the start I'm at ep 16. People keep hyping it up as the greatest season ever but I feel like it's just blind fanatism for Free and Silas. I made a whole ass thread on Twitter about why I don't like it, but I still want to share my thoughts here, so buckle up people.

Also like, please remember I've only gotten to when they go to México, so I can't take into account any kind of character moments or character development that happens after that 'cause I obviously haven't seen any of that yet unless I got spoiled.

It's actually a single very simple issue, but it bothers me a lot 'cause this wasn't a problem in season 1, or at least it wasn't so big; I feel they misuse so much of their time, like, let me explain. They had like 15 episodes of a whole arc, to introduce around 12 new characters and I don't even know who half of them are supposed to be (counting only the guys back at BC Sol).

Season one had also 15 eps of the first arc, but around numeber 5 you already know the basics about every big player in that arc and even most side characters. Those being the main 6, plus Hoji, Orochi, Xander, and both Valt and Daigo's families.

Wakiya and Daigo had more impact in this arc than most of the new characters on Valt’s side, I care more for the French team than the new supposed deuteragonists. Why do you make so many new characters if you won’t do shit with almost any of them? How do you make me care more about the secondary characters more than the main gang?.

Most of these eps were incredibly boring to me because they just got rid of the thing I loved so much about season one, every character had something that made them different from the rest or a reason to care about them, but during this arc most characters are "literally who"s.

Like, I might for example not care about Zac or Ukio that much, but I have friends who do. But Honey? Django? I don’t know a single person who even remembers them. And there was no improvement to anything else from Season 1, so there’s nothing to make up for this issue.

They should have actually taken the time to introduce everyone and show you just who they are. Who’s Django for example? Because right now he’s literally just a walking stereotype, not even a character, give me a reason to care about the fact he’s leaving. Stan got incredibly upset when that happened, clearly it was supposed to be an important thing, specially looking at how much it changed Stan's own character into an abrasive and resentful shit stain of a guy for a while.

Like I said, I think they should use the first few episodes to properly introduce Valt’s new friends. Show Django and Stan’s supposed friendship and how they were supposed to be among the strongest bladers besides Free, show me Valt befriending the new people, show them Honey interacting with her sister, HOW does she not have any chemistry with HER SISTER. Just make them feel like actual characters instead of replacing already loved and established characters with boring different nationality versions of themselves.

THEN you bring the plot. They don’t even need that many eps, they’ve clearly proved they can give them that treatment with just one, look at Cuza or Gashem, for example. They established them perfectly, why can't they do that with the characters you're supposed to see every episode? The story would be so much better if they made you actually care about these people, but they just didn't.

So many moments in the later half of these few first eps would be vastly improved, the few times someone decided to leave, that one time everyone got mad at Valt and Rantaro after meeting with Daigo, Silas rejoining, the little conversations Kris and Trad often have.

I just wanna care about whatever is happening, like I did in season 1. Kris and Ange's conversation in that one ep, Kit following Valt to the royal's place, everything Free did, those are great examples, I needed more of that, just give me character moments, tell me who these people are, please, I wanna care.

I do write Bangel fanfic, but I'm very lazy. I haven't my updated my stories in ages. I have loads of unfinished stories on my laptop.

Funniest Bangel/Buffyverse moment?

In Earshot when Angel says, "I'm a funny guy". Deadpan.

What Buffyverse opinion would have you chased through the village with pitchforks?

When I mention to other Bangel fans that although I'm not a fan of Spuffy, I don't really mind them and I quite like Spike.

Share a headcanon you have about Bangel or the Buffyverse?

I always think IWRY spawned an AU where Angel stayed human, moved back to Sunnydale and helped Buffy fight the good fight in a more Xander type role. Whilst they had lots of smoochies and great sex in between apocalypses obviously.

How would you have given Buffy and Angel their Happily Ever After?

There's a few ways I'd give them a HEA but my absolute fave is Xena Avenger's The Journey, not the Destination take on how they build a life and a family together after NFA.
