Someone described Katsuki’s thoughts on their future as this “catch and chase” esc game and I can’t stop thinking about catch-a-Kacchan now. The symbolism of that now is so telling with Katsuki’s new admission. Oh my god.

Like of course izuku could never catch Kacchan: that was the game. The hope that their rivalry and therefore their new found relationship could stay this way forever. He would never lose Izuku because they were always trying to catch each other—chase, grab, hold, let go, and chase again.

IT EVEN PUTS A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON KATSUKI’S PHRASING OF CALLING OFA A “CURSED POWER”

Honestly it almost feels like the end to this statement, one he never quite articulated to himself, and especially not to the world. Ofa gives power, ofa gives hope, and ofa ties itself to the people it interacts with. Ofa breathes the life into the game of their lives, catch and release.

And it’s such a small detail of symbolism, and idec if it’s purposeful, it’s just the fact that it exists at all that I love it so god damn much.

As Izuku tries to comfort him in the only way he really knows how (“well I still have the embers! It was a nice dream while it lasted! Please don’t cry you’re just overly sensitive right now, I’m sure you won’t feel this way later..”), and as Katsuki believes that the only way he’s allowed into Izuku’s life is this small glimpse into their rivalry—and, in spite of it all, allmight reminds them that they have changed.

The world, it has changed. The winds still blow high across the country, and we are reminded that the most important part of despair is the connection we have with each other. They are not just heroes, they are the greatest heroes—together.

The world will never be the same—and isn’t that the most beautiful part of it all? That we have changed, together?

Have a WIP of Loop throwing a massive bitch fit in a forest. This is a page from a project of mine that has at this point expanded into a whole massive multi-chapter thing, because i can’t be trusted with small and doable projects. This particular installment, working title “Loop Is Emo In The Woods,” is now TWELVE PAGES long and fully written and storyboarded. I’m gonna start posting WIPs from it because I really really want people to see it, and I genuinely do not know when its gonna be fully finished. I’m still trying to decide the level of detail and the style of the finished piece.

ANYWAY this piece is pretty much one big Loop soliloquy on how sad and unwanted and out of place they are and how its all their big dumb fault (and how terrible it is that they caught feelings for Siffrin and how no one must ever know). But I really like this action sequence because I’m both very satisfied with it, and it KILLED me to draw it this good. It’s my first action sequence y’all 🥺

Rhys and Cass and them are like 😟uh.. They won’t admit it but she scares them a bit. In a very different way than Nesta though. Elain is just..unnerving. ESPECIALLY because she’s the gentle one. so soft spoken. ribbons and smiles but also long stares with too few blinks

Nessa and Feyre are mostly used to her strange vibes. After the Cauldron she definitely got more unhinged with it but its just feeding off of what was already there.

He spends three years just hanging out in the Zone, partially amnesiac and everything. He gets a place in the King's Court (literally just the Official Friend Group of people Danny likes) and fully builds a new life in the Zone.

And then, one day, the Justice League has to travel to the Infinite Realms to meet with the Ghost King (their summoning portals wouldn't work). They travel all the way up to the castle and are told to enter the king's receiving chambers

Imagine their surprise when the king isn't the otherworldly eldrich monster they were expecting but a glowing ghost kid hanging out on a throne messing with his friends

And then the king and the ghosts+court notice the League and settle down, arranging themselves to look more Official(tm). The League approaches, and Superman is laying out the reasons the League wanted to meet with the Ghost King. And Batman, who has been looking around, cataloguing everything in the room, finally gets a good look at one of the Knights of the King's Court

- you didn’t hear anything from them until hours later, your brows furrowing at the series of notifications popping up at the top of your screen
