It has been so long that people have been interested in an Au so i got excited lol

Rin meets Kakashi and Yamato in their human disguises and gets this really familiar feeling about Kakashi, but can’t tell why.

She works as a doctor in the local hospital and Kakashi ends up dragging Gai there after he injured himself doing some chores (tears a muscle really bad and there’s no medical clinic so hospital is the only place to go)

She actually realizes who Kakashi is when she see’s him holding the book she gave him when they were kids. The memories just flood her mind and she has to hold herself together because she wants to cry with happyness

She actually thought that whole adventure was a dream after some time and mourned the fact that the friends she made weren’t ‘real’

She doesn’t approach Kakashi at first because she doesn’t know how it will go. Will he remmember? Will he recognize her? Will he think she lost her mind?

One day while hanging out with Gai at the cafe at work she makes an off handed comment about aliens and with the most serious face she has ever seen on his face Gai leans over and tells her ‘He won’t shut up about you. Please set him free and tell him you know’

Kakashi spends at least three hours a day reading books. Gai has to take him to the book shop once a week to buy new books, and even helped Tenzo build a bookshelf just for Kakashi’s books. It was full within a month (another reason Kakashi needs his own damned djob XD he spends so much on books)

Headcannons of Yamato finding out s/o is pregnant

Yamato probably wasn’t expecting the news when his s/o had to tell him that they were pregnant. The reason I say that is because I can picture Yamato living with his s/o before marrying them. They would be well established in their relationship, careers, and living together and the thought of kids was probably farther off plan. 

Yamato would have liked to have kids. He’s always thought of having kids but he gets nervous at the thought of having to raise those kids because he’s afraid of failing his kids in some way, like not being there for them or not knowing what to do. So again, he’s thought of having kids but he thought he would settle for like one kid when he’s in his near forties. 

However, his s/o probably got pregnant by accident. Either they skipped the pill, their body got used to the pill, or their condom broke and somehow they got pregnant. Yamato is absolutely shocked. He grows completely still and his s/o has to escort him to a chair to sit down. His s/o probably gets really worried that this kid might not be what he wants but that’s not the case. Yamato makes sure he has heard correctly and asks his s/o to repeat themselves while he’s stuttering. 

When the news is confirmed, Yamato asks the next question that's on his mind which is how far along they are or how long have they known. Once he has the basic information, he kind of sighs as shock leaves him and he is in acceptance. He’ll grab his s/o and kiss them and hold them. He’ll say “we’re having a baby” with a smile on his face and his s/o will know he’s not mad or having second thoughts. Later, he’ll explain to them how he was feeling and how he’s literally just thinking of what are the next steps he needs to take to be a father. 

His s/o will realize the dedication that Yamato has for them and how he just processes the news more slowly and practically. When the child arrives, there’s no question in his s/o’s mind how much Yamato loves their child. Yamato is, of course, nervous at the thought of holding his child for the first time, but once he gets that baby in his hands, suddenly the butterflies fly away and nothing could come between the love he has for his kid. 

Yamato fears melt away while looking at his baby’s face and he knows he's going to do his best to provide and love his child. He’s with his s/o every step of the way with whatever help or support they need. He’ll carry the diaper bag, he’ll run a bath, he’ll make dinner, he’ll change diapers, and he’ll get up in the middle of the night. He’s very tentative and is completely prepared to be a father.

Naruto has been growing marijuana on his apartment balcony. He spends so much time on the swing is where he meets buyers. Mans gotta pay rent, and buy ramen somehow, yeah?

Okay listen you’re onto something here,, Growing weed was Naruto’s original plan for being loved by the village, being Hokage was only his back up plan. (Imagine him scratching “having a massive weed empire so Konoha will love me” on a list and sighing, guess I’m gonna have to become the Hokage)

You see I now headcannon that Naruto grew the weed, and Shikamaru was his #1 customer, he basically kept the business alive. Naruto took it to school and sold it there until Iruka found out and took it away from him (Naruto kept some of the plants, can’t let the business die) (Iruka kept the plants he took and gets high every friday evening).

So Shikamaru is his main client, but Chouji gets edibles sometimes, Shino tried it but his bugs nearly died, Lee started straight up eating it bc he thought it was like oregano or some shit, Ino said she tried it for the sake of science and her family’s business and Sasuke tried it once but had such a bad trip that he cried to Itachi for three hours. Itachi of course has done weed, he gets it from Shisui.

I also headcannon that it all started when Jiraiya brought weed to Konoha, he passed it down to Minato who kept the family business alive (it was mostly Kushina’s doing). Kakashi, now, he wanted nothing to do with it because he was depressed ™ and so the third Hokage lowkey passed the business to Naruto when he gave him some plants for Naruto’s apartment. The Third is also a regular client (but shh, no one has to know)

Kakashi once tried it, and said that he liked Yamato’s weed better. Yamato’s weed business is Naruto’s competition. Shikamaru has Naruto’s weed while Asuma buys Yamato’s, they get together once a month to compare.

It’s a fact that whenever Naruto finds a bad guy he’s like “pssst. Ya want some of the good stuff?”. That’s why they always end up being his friends.

First and foremost, I feel like Yamato is bi, and people can disagree, but those be the vibes he’s giving off

So not only can he relate to you and not make you feel like an odd duck, but talking about you “Hollywood” crushes is a lot easier (probably popular ninja instead of actors tho, lol)

And Yamato too is an ambivert! (A mix between extrovert and introvert :) )

For we see him being open and direct, especially when on missions, but we also see him get flustered easily at times in public

Be it because he’s overwhelmed or just because someone told a embarrassing story about him, he makes an effort to be there for his team and his friends. He will happily share a meal and endure that embarrassing story if it means being with the people he loves

And sometimes he just needs a break away from everyone and everything to gather his thoughts, after all, he was part of the ANBU and we’ve seen how that changes people, there’s no doubt he needs to lock away and find his peace again

Because of this, he probably does well with your intense emotions as you mentioned

Yamato obviously feels, we see that, he’s actually rather open about his feelings even being in the ANBU at once, so he can help you gather your thoughts as well during these times

Be it from something on the outside or something on the inside, he knows anxiety, has dealt with it before, and though it may not be the same as yours he will be very understanding the whole time

And because he’s so supportive, would love to listen to you play the violin, it’s actually rather grounding for him

As for video games? He may not understand them all that much but he’ll happily sit with you as you play, just don’t try to get him to play because he’ll suck lol

Loves going on nature walks with you, especially being a wood style user, will happily forge your own trail even, because he wants to impress you!

Also loves how open minded and studious you are regarding other religions

Loves your curiosity and will listen to you talk about gods, rituals, or the culture surrounding the religion

Every Member of Team 7 is like. Strangely literal. And it  fucks people up all the time.

Like, Kakashi has been living in the real adult world for years and thus has at least pretended to pick up sarcasm, but he also uses it mainly to overcompensate for the fact that a lot of sarcasm goes over his head oops. Luckily he got the reputation of a no-fun-no-nonsense ANBU captain, so when he has deadpan reactions to sarcastic comments or jokes it’s seen as him being an asshole who doesn’t want to indulge his subordinates instead of a dumbass that doesn’t even know when sarcasm is being used half the time. To this day, he always gets a pang of pride when he recognizes and returns Sarcasm.

This is actually a big part of why Gai and Tenzo are the easiest people by far for him to get along with! Gai exagerates things, sure, but that’s comperitively really easy to follow, and the man can be just as bad about getting Sarcasm as Kakshi is. Same goes for Tenzo, the ROOT baby that was never properly socialized and doesn’t get idioms because he was never exposed to them. Tenzo’s face lights up every time he gets a sarcastic comment, and Kakashi can’t stop himself from smiling under his mask every time because he so gets that feel.

Anyway, getting Team Seven is a damn weight off of his shoulders in this way. 

Sasuke, poor kid, was born and raised an Uchiha until he was 8, and the only humor most Uchiha have is dry, sarcastic wit. Some of the Uchiha kids would laugh at him and call him dumb when he didn’t get a joke and he’d run crying to Itachi, who outright banned Shisui and Izumi from being sarcastic around Sasuke. Because of this, Sasuke can’t make a joke to save his life half of the time, and raising himself in basically-isolation with a major hyperfixation on fratricide and nothing else did Not help him here either.

Then we have Naruto, who did raise himself, and who kids wouldn’t talk to anyway. Not getting sarcasm was really just another drop in the bucket of things he was called dumb for, and he didn’t care all that much- he just thought Sarcasm was dumb and blew raspberries at people whenever they mocked him for not getting it.

Sakura, being a total perfectionist, is the best out of the four of them- she made flashcards.she developed a cirriculum. She understood sarcasm out of spite, and it might take her a few seconds to process it and run it through her 12 mental checklists, but she will understand and respond to sarcasm and idioms 78% of the time. She still finds them tedious and annoying and frustrating when she’s not making the jokes, but she’s the teams Sarcasm Translator. and has also made back up flash cards for them if/when they’re interested (Kakashi shares his set with Tenzo)

But, anyway, they all feed off of each other here. Sarcasm is basically banned on Team Seven as an unwritten and unspoken rule that they all eagerly obey. This makes them lowkey unbearable to other teams, because when they’re in a team setting they aren’t used to even trying to look for sarcasm, so the likes of Shikamaru and Neji can’t say a damn thing to mock them that works because their second language is Sarcasm, and they all think that Team 7 does it on purpose.

Shikamaru: Wow, you three really are attached at the hip. Do you brush each other’s teeth too?

Sakura: What? no, why would we? 

Naruto: ....what’s brushing your teeth.

Sakura, screeching: Ok So Maybe I Should Start Brushing Naruto’s Teeth What The Fuck Thanks Shikamaru.

Cause it's self protection hours I am gonna toss you the headcannon the Kakashi is hyper-mobile and just didn't realize humans aren't supposed to bend that much for, a good portion of his life. On that matter Tenzo also is hyper-mobile. This is fine until Kakashi like stretchs or smt and team seven is just like "Kakashi-sensei what the fuck??". And Yamato's illusion of being normal is shattered again cause, he thought if there was one thing normal about Kakashi it would be his stretchyness. However both are wrong

It doesn't help that most ninja are just stretchy anyways cause they kinda?? have to be stretchy.

Hmmm see i always thought that the way Kakashi is animated made him seem like someone who is kinda stiff and inflexible. He moves like someone who has been dealing with joint pain their whole life and didn't realize that wasn't normal (hi that's me too)

BUT if I'm not mistaken, being hyper-mobile can cause its own special kind of joint pain. And can lead to joints popping outta place pretty easily. So his stiffness with movement could just be him trying to keep his joints in order.

Poor yam tho 😭 one thing he thought was definitely normal isn't. He should have seen it coming tho if it's something in common he has with Kakashi ajsjdkdldj

Kakashi will breakout the extra stretchyness when it suits his needs tho.

Pregnancy and Baby Headcannons for Yamato

This turned out a lot longer than I planned lol. Also, I HC that there is birth control for both male and female ninja.

- After the two of you got married it was time to start making plans for trying for a child.

- Yamato is particularly excited to start a family, he had always been alone for holidays and celebrations before you. The idea of having a family with you sometimes brings him to tears, not that anyone but you know this about him

- First the both of you came off of your birth control and second you got ready to transition to a desk job

- When you finally discover you are pregnant, he is away on a quick mission and should be back in a few days, the wait for him to walk in the door is unbearable - When you do see him and tell him that he’s going to be a father, he is overcome with many emotions. Fear, love, excitement, nervousness and unbridled happiness.

- During your pregnancy he’s like a mother hen. He rids the house of anything that sets off your morning sickness, he makes sure you take your pregnancy supplements, kisses away your tears and handles your mood swings like a champ - You’re now about 6 months into your pregnancy and he no longer takes missions that have him away from you for more than a day unless it is deeply important to the sake of the mission - He has created several dozen cribs for your child. He cant decide on what kind of one will be best for the baby. One is too ornate, the other is too plain. Early on you realised this was an outlet for his anxiety

-During late night cuddles with him curled up against your stomach he admits to his anxiety about being a good father. His upbringing was not loving nor kind. He worries that he wont be able give him the love they need. - Has several routes to the hospital planned for when you go into labor. He also has several bags ready for you to choose from to take.

- He has to be touching you the entire birth. Be it holding your hand or stroking your hair.

- Is very worried about how much pain you are in and questions the nurses a few too many times if you are ok.

- When your daughter is born he cuts the umbilical cord and is a mess of tears.

- As you hold the baby for the first time he is kissing and stroking your head, telling you how proud of you he is.

- He tries to hold back his tears, but he cant. When he gets to hold your little girl he is a mess of ugly sobs. - Names her Ume (Apricot Blossom, meaning “Pure Heart”)

- Is very wary of letting his friends come visit the three of you in hospital. He trusts his senpai Kakashi with his life but worries he wont be careful with your new born. He straight up refuses to let Gai hold her until he sits down, is quiet and calm.

- Has 6 months paternal leave to spend with you and baby - Is very protective of the two of you. He doesn’t like the two of you going out of the house in case you both get sick. After an argument and doctor reassurance he settles down but neither you or the baby are more than a step away from him when out of the house - Spends as much time holding or watching the baby as he can without making you feel lonely nsfw under the cut

NSFW - The two of you started trying for a baby as soon as you stopped taking the birthcontrol, even though it takes a month or two to get out of your systems

- You guys fucked like rabbits every day you were able, even when you weren’t ovulating

- He developed a breeding kink after one night where you begged him to “breed you”. After that he always moaned and groaned about how he was going to fill you with his cum and breed you.

- After you’re pregnant and the pregnancy horniness kicks in he straight up says no to having sex with you. That is until you get cleared from the doctor. - Even then he is gentle, but still makes you see stars - When you start lactating he asks to taste your milk. Sorry! i'm the touch and sound sensitive anon ask earlier i made a mistake and accidently send the earlier one without finishing T.T I feel like i worded it wrong- i meant not just sounds but also touch and numerous other general things like how Kakashi wouldn't like people grabbing his hands suddenly even if their close friends, Or maybe how Kurenai hates it when people even go near her face without warning, Asuma doesn't like hands on his hair period. Raidou actually hates even just the sounds of knives chopping or the scent of something burning, or even Anko getting very nervous whenever she hears fingers tapping loudly- simple things like that that are so simple and meaningless to other people but affect them so much T.T

Ok so i think… given the context of the characters

Kakashi definitly hates people grabbing his hands or touching him without permission in any way. No hugs, shoulder grabs, arm touches or anything. It sets him on edge and guarantees he won’t be able to relax for the rest of the day.

He is also set off by food textures (peeling the white bits off of oranges and not liking Tempura) though it’s just a matter of avoiding those foods even if they’re served to him.

Too much sound can also get on his nerves but his tolerance for that is much higher because he has had loud friends and his job sometimes involves being around crowds.

Asuma i think gets annoyed bu pipe smoke. It sounds weird i know since he is a smoker, but the way pipe smoke lingers in the air and smells is different and reminds him of his father, and not the good memories. So being around people who use pipes is very hard for him. He also doesn’t like people grabbing his hands without warning because to him those are his weapons. He wears his blades on them and uses them to fight, so feeling skin contact on them doesn’t sit well with him. Arm touches or shoulder touches are fine, just not hands.

Anko can’t stand long stretches of silence. Training under Orochimaru there would often be a lot of silence and she cane to associate that with discomfort and bad feelings. If she’s working a long time in the lab there is always music on or an open window so there’s some sort of background noise

On the opposite side Tenzo can’t stand long stretches of noise. He lives in silence and enjoys it. Too much noise can very easily over stimulate him.

Gai can’t stand the smell of burnt flesh. I think this would be accossiated with seeing Kakashi cut lightning, and the fact that Kakashi no doubt burned himself with lightning doing that. Gai probably smelt burnt flesh standing over Kakashi hoping he had somehow lived that stupid stunt, and now the smell of cooking meat or burning flesh makes him sick to his stomach

Headcannons of Yamatotaking in a Child with Wood-Style

When the Village found the child whether fromreports from the citizens or from happenstance, the Anbu were dispatched tocollect the child. They were ordered to bring the child to the Hokage’s Tower.The child was an orphan more than likely and wouldn’t have certain basic socialskills depending upon how long the child was housed for experimental purposes.The child will most likely be leery of adults and not trust them.

When the child is in custody, the Hokage willsend for Yamato. He is immediately asked to come to the Hokage’s office and is debriefon the situation. The Hokage would like his expertise on the matter as to whathe thinks would be best for the child.

Yamato was rather surprised to learn that therewas another wood-style user like himself out there and was even more shocked tolearn that the user was a child. He was further shocked, because he had thoughtthat experiments from Orochimaru were shut down. Orochimaru had too many failedattempts and had moved on.

Yamato had been left to die and he thought he wasthe only survivor. So the question on Yamato’s mind is how long have theseexperiments been running again. He is filled with anguish at the thought,wondering how many more had died that he couldn’t help. His next question iswho was running the experiments as he wanted to put a stop to them once again.

Seeing the wood-style user child alone andscared, brings Yamato flash backs from when he was a child. He didn’t know howmany more wood-style experiments were out there but for now, he had to helpthis child. He’ll offer to take care of the kid and to question them. TheHokage will agree after seeing the determined look in Yamato’s eyes.

Getting the kid to warm up and accept Yamatowill take a few months. Yamato is rather patient and always speaks to the kidwith a warm voice. He introduces himself slowly and doesn’t make any quick movementsand doesn’t try to reach out and touch the kid. During their introductionprocess, Yamato will inquire about their abilities like he has been asked todo. Once the kid shows him, Yamato will display his own. He might gift the kid witha flower from his own hand and encourage them to take it. By the kid seeingYamato have the same abilities as them, they will learn to trust him faster.

Eventually, Yamato will be able to take the kidhome. Yamato wasn’t expecting to become a dad so soon, but that is essentiallywhat happened. He makes sure the child feels safe and that they are well caredfor. He makes sure they are eating and sleeping regularly as that is his priority.

He is not surprised to find the child up late atnight because they don’t want to sleep or that they have already woke up from aterrible dream. Yamato is there when the child starts to cry or is freakingout. He’ll have to hold them to keep them from hurting themselves or escaping.He’ll rub his hand up and down their back while rocking them. He’ll reassurethem that they’re safe and that he won’t let anything hurt them again.

When the kid calms down and falls asleep, Yamatowill tuck the blankets over the kid. He’ll leave a flower he created from hishand at their bed. He does so to remind them of their first encounter and it isa symbol of his promise that he won’t let no one hurt them.

Yamato knows there is no immediate cure from theflashbacks that can haunt you and he does not blame the child for having panicattacks. He knows the child will have to learn to trust in him and learn ontheir own that they can’t change the past, but they can control how it affectstheir future.

When the child is ready and if the child wantsto, Yamato will help the child master wood style ninjutsu. Yamato is somewhatexcited to have someone to train and marvels at how fast the child can pick upthe tricks he teaches them. The child becomes a great user because his masterwas a good teacher

Thank you! Hmmm, I do like Trans Tenzo headcannons and there are a select few trans characters I can see choosing to have a child (Tenzo is on the fence. Really depends who he's with I think)

But it could be an instance if 'we were using protection and it just didn't do the job this time because it broke' or Tenzo could be be getting the T shot and while chances of pregnancy greatly decrease, it's never zero.

I think it would involve a very long, slightly uncomfertable conversation for the both of them. One that neither of them really want to have, but they know they need to.

In the end, I think they would decide to keep the baby though. Tenzo has always wanted a kid, but his sense of duty always came first. Plus he always thought he would adopt anyways (which they still think about doing), so having a kid of his own when it seemed impossible is kind of like a little gift for all the things he has suffered through and survived against.

Kakashi's very on the fence about it. He's not really sure he'd make a good dad, or if he'd even want to be a dad. What he does know is that he loves the way Tenzo lights up, and he remembers the few moments he had with his father, and he hopes despite everything he could be a father like his own.

Kind and goofy and so very supportive. But he'll stick around. He'll be there for his child as long as he can be.

Over the months, Kakashi finds himself getting excited to be a father. To play with a teach his little one whatever he knows. He can't wait to see their cute face and hear their silly little laugh.

Meanwhile, Tenzo is enjoying a pretty easy nine months. He thinks he got lucky in the pregnancy department, though he gladly wouldn't risk a second shot. If they decided to have another kid, it's adoption all the way for him and Kakashi is perfectly alright with that.

Kakashi

Kakashi is calling bs. How is it that Lord Third found the most gremlin-like children out of the classroom, slapped them all together, and handed them to him? Hasn’t he suffered enough? does he really have to be called names by his students?

He’s always asking Gai for pointers. How do you do it? How have you not committed murder yet?

Training is a minimum of three hours. Longer if the kid's arn’t panting by the end of it. If they’re not tired, they didn’t work hard enough. The kids learn pretty fast that while Sensei may have a tendency of being late, he is far from lazy. 

Kakashi would like one day, just one, where he does not have to have Ramen for lunch. This is not healthy. Naruto is not getting his veggies and Kakashi has issues with this.

Contrary to popular belief, Sasuke is not the favorite. He’s just the one Kakashi connects to the most. Sakura is the favorite. She’s not causing him headaches every day just for shits and giggles.

At the end of the day, he'd still die for them. Give anything to protect them from the world he had to grow up in.

Make's bentos for the team every training session. The team doesn't expect it after the bell test, but Kakashi knows that Naruto and Sasuke don't have anyone to make food for them so he's going to do it.

Yamato

Unlike his Senpai, Yamato is not going to stand by and be bullied. For every rude comment Naruto or Sakura toss his way, Yamato has a scary face in store for them.

He once thought Senpai was over-exaggerating about just how much Ramen Naruto would eat. He was not and Yamato is concerned. It's time to start force-feeding this kid his veggies.

At the same time, he's the best big brother. He'll check in on the kids if they're late for training, make soup for them if they're sick. He even likes to sit with Sai in silence and just watch him draw, talking only when Sai wants to talk.

Kakashi takes care of making sure the kids have Bento's to eat after a long training session, and Tenzo always makes sure to have extra clothes. Sometimes it starts to rain during training and as much as Sakura and Sai like to act like they're fine, they're not. He's not risking them getting sick because they want to be stubborn.

Another thing he does great as a big brother is that he's definitely the one to give any potential partners 'the talk'. Doesn't matter if they're stronger than him or not. He's going to make sure they know he can and will commit murder if they treat his new family poorly.

constantly scolds Sakura and Naruto for treating Sai poorly when he misses social cues or doesn't understand something they think is obvious. He has been there and he will not let anyone belittle Sai for trying to learn, just like Kakashi-senpai didn't let anyone belittle Yamato when he was struggling.

Would like a raise, please. He does not get paid enough for this shit.

Gai

Excited from the moment that he's told he's finally getting a genin team until the day he dies. He adores these kids and honestly if he could do it all over again he would.

Specifically asks Genma to help him with training so that Tenten can learn from a weapon's expert. Loves pairing the two and watching them destroy things together. Only slightly regrets it when Genma starts teaching her about Poison weapons.

Loves having the kids over for dinner. It's a good team bonding exercise and gives him an excuse to flex his cooking skills.

Is super supportive of each of his students finding their own rivals, or something that will push them to train hard and become the best that they can. He knows it works and if they need help figuring out how to push themselves to reach their maximum capabilities.

Will shamelessly use his students to ref competitions between Kakashi and Him.

Has specific training regiments for each of his students to maximize their personal skills, and then team training sessions to focus on their teamwork.

Proudest Jonin Sensei ever and will not hear anyone say that their team is better than his. He got the best team, end of discussion.

If his students are sick he brings them homemade soup, make's sure that they're getting rest, and lets them talk to him about anything they want. Just make's sure that he's there for them so that they know they're not alone.

Will fistfight Hiashi for custody of Neji.

Yamato

Yamato is always a stuttering and rambling messwhen he tries to confess his feelings. It’s only the longer he is with theperson that he can get less nervous talking about how he feels towards them. So,Yamato can understand that his s/o might have a hard time verbally expressingthemselves. He knows that it can be hard to string words together to describehow one feels, especially when they feel too much.

Yamato can be a bit of a worrier, so at thestart of the relationship he may think his s/o does not like him as much as helikes them. It will be some time in the relationship before Yamato will get goodat understanding his s/o’s nonverbal expression of love and he’ll be lessnervous. He’ll love if his s/o makes him anything such as if his s/o has ahobby of baking, drawing, cooking, sewing, or crafting. He will feel loved ifhe knows they spent a lot of time making a certain item for him.

Yamato can get rather embarrassed reading lovenotes from his s/o. He’ll want to read them when he is alone and will get upsetif anyone stumbles upon the notes. He doesn’t want any words that his s/o haswrote specifically for him being read by someone else. He cherishes every notevery deeply and would even keep his favorite note on him when he’s out onmission to look back on when he is feeling down.

Gaara

Gaara is not good with his words when it comesto verbally expressing his feelings, so he can relate heavily to a s/o that hasa hard time expressing their own.  He canappreciate any small or large gesture that his s/o does to show them that theycare. Whether the gesture is done with or without acknowledgement, Gaara alwaysnotices. For instance, if his s/o packs a lunch for him without him asking themto and puts it in the fridge with his name on it, he’ll smile at the thought.

Gaara knows the smallest of gestures can mean alot. Even his s/o reminding him of an event or helping him celebrate one of hisachievements, can bring him happiness. Gaara would also find it adorable if hiss/o put some of their attention and interest into one of his hobbies becausethey know how much it means to him. For instance, if they bought a littlecactus for their home and bought a little book on the upkeep of plants. Gaarawould smile inwardly at that because his s/o is trying to take an interest insomething he favors.

Gaara always finds his heart beating fast andhis cheeks reddening when reading one of his s/o’s letters. He can’t help butfeel the love from his s/o’s words whether the note is big or small. After hegets done reading the letters, he keeps them in one of his treasured boxes tosave and to read again some other time. He won’t directly mention reading theletter to his s/o, but his s/o can always tell when he has read their letterbecause he will be more romantic towards them. He’ll want to spend most of thenight holding them and caressing them with his fingertips or his lips.
