➼ Word Count » 0.7k ➼ Warnings » Isolation, and General Yandere Theme's ➼ Summary » Preston takes notice of your vulnerability after you leave the vault and does everything he can to keep you safe and protected.

Out of time, out of time. You kept repeating to yourself once you left the vault. Out of time to live, out of time to want, and out of time to spend with the people you loved. Your tears still left stains down your face as you wandered back to Sanctuary, your blurry vision focused on the mess of a house before you. Your eyes still hung heavy from the countless nights you had laid awake as you followed the path down to Concord. You would've just let the raiders slaughter you if it weren't for the voice that shouted at you from atop the balcony, and part of you wished you just ignored the man and gone through with your initial plan, but there must've been something still left within you as you rushed passed the museum doors.

Preston picked up on your vulnerability the second you marched into the upper room the Quincy group was staying in. He noticed how easy it would be to mold you—to damage you further. Every cut and flaw that clung to your conscious was out on full display to him, and he wanted to salvage it, to help you out as he did do many times before. He’d defend you from the outside dangers of the Commonwealth, and he’d be there when you had no one else left.

Life in Sanctuary went by slowly and was painfully boring as Preston always seemed to be there to do everything for you. It was nice in the beginning—you were still in mourning and hadn't any motivation to do much of anything—but you were doing better now and wanted to do anything other than sit in your old house and weep. It was time for you to move on. Preston wouldn't allow it, however, and every time you tried to leave he'd push you right back in and make you lay down. You'd complain and argue with him, but he was firm in everything he said and every time you found yourself following his orders.

"May I speak with you, (Y/N)?"

"Sure, Codsworth, come on in." You stepped back from the doorway to make room for him to follow, "Is everything alright?"

"I should say not," He responded, "Mister Preston is being quite a bother, locking you in here like this. It's just not right, (Y/N). If I could, I would've called the authorities already, it's just all gotten out of hand."

"What do you mean?"

"What do I mean?! You haven't left your house since you got back from Concord! This is no way to live!"

"I'm trying to help out around the place, Codsworth, I swear, he just—he just won't let me leave."

"Then I'll put an end to it promptly. Don't you worry, (Y/N)! I can be quite steady in an argument!"

That was the last time Codsworth came to visit, and the first time Preston suggested keeping your blinds closed. You were now completely isolated.

The sudden knock on your door startled you, but you still went to answer it.

"Good morning, (Y/N)! Are you feeling better today?" Preston greeted from the doorway.

"I've been feeling better for a while." You said. "How's Sanctuary looking? And the others? Are they fitting in nicely?" You tried peeking around the man to see what the progress was but he only stepped to block your line of sight.

"Don't worry yourself with all that! May I come in?"

"When can I leave?" You questioned, moving to give him room to come in. "I still have a son to find."

"Don't worry, it'll all be taken care of, I promise. Just stay locked in here and I'll handle everything else, ok?"

And just like that, you were out of time to exist. Preston was there to make all your decisions for you. You wouldn’t have to worry anymore as he was there to take care of everything. He even ended up moving in with you to ensure you were doing all that he asked.

It wasn't at all what you had hoped for, Preston was way too doting and you were starting to hate the sight of your home's old walls. Maybe one day he'd let you go, but as he petted your head and locked the door behind him, you doubted he'd ever set you free.

⤷ Arvin Eugene Russell

-Arvin would probably first met you at school when he was waiting for Lenora. He saw you standing up for Lenora to her bullies which immediately made him curious about you.

-So he would ask Lenora about you, he'd also told her to befriend you so you can help her in school, definitely not to know more about you.

-POSSESSIVE

-He would stalk you, sometimes he'd be in his car, driving behind your walking figure on the street, or he would sneak to your house at night watching you sleep or shower or do literally anything.

-He will protect you more than he does Lenora. If anyone even look at you the wrong way, they will end up with several broken bones. And if someone tries to touch you without your permission or make you slightly uncomfortable, the person will end up dead.

-After some time he will approach you. Starting a conversation about how glad he is that Lenora has you, that he cannot be around her to protect her all the time.

-He would never hurt you. Maybe if you find out that he killed someone for you, he would try to manipulate you, but he would never punch your or something similar.

-He would kidnap you soon, just to make sure that you are safe with him. He would also take a good care of you, will give you some freedom when he trusts you enough that you won't run away.

-He would want to spend every minute with you and he won't ever let you go, he loves you so much.

⤷ Preston Teagardin

-Preston would meet you in church after your grandma took you there. You didn't believe in god (you were atheist) and just lived normal life but that was to your grandma a sin. Your grandpa didn't really care because he was atheist as well so you often made jokes about your granny's faith.

-When Preston saw you he knew that he wants you. Your beaty was unbelievable. Which made him curious about you. He saw in your eyes that you don't believe in god and that's what attracted him.

-Your grandma told him how sinful you are and asked him if he could talk to you, which he gladly accepted.

-He would manipulate your grandma to think that he needs more time with you, alone. So she will make you go to the church more often, than he could be alone with you.

-Possessive and obsessive, will also stalk you a lot. Probably in his car at night looking into your window at you.

-He wouldn't even try to convince you to believe in god because he himself doesn't believe in him. He is also atheist he's just doing it for the money and power.

-You two will be alone in the church or after some time in his house. He would be over the moon because he can have you all to himself. BUT he wouldn't do anything without your verbal consent, because he would never hurt you in any way.

-Your relationship will be a secret from the start, just few glances and his death stares at anyone who's talking to you.

-But after some time he wouldn't be able to control himself anymore. He just has to have you, all the time. He can't get enough of you.

-He will kidnap you unless you go voluntarily. If yes than you two will run away and live somewhere in countryside where no one will bother you. You will have freedom around the house and on the yard, but he's the one who will go for grocery OR he will go with you, just to make sure no one will talk nor touch his precious angel.

⤷ Lee Bodecker

-Lee will stop you while he was working because you drove too fast. When he pull you over he was too stunned to speak. You were beautiful and he saw fire in your eyes.

-He shook his head and flirt with you, but enough not to make it weird nor make you uncomfortable. At the end of the day he didn't give you the speed ticket and let you go under one condition, which was to give him your name and phone number.

-After that he will make excuses to talk to you, so he would either stop you at the driveway or call you or knock on your door for a talk (because he will found out where you live by stalking you or looking into your file at the police station)

-He is also a stalker but not that much like Arvin, Preston or Willard. He will call it 'looking out for you just in case some men will make you uncomfortable' because he's a policeman, after all it's his job ;)

-He will offer you his help to stay close to you, doesn't matter if you need help with grocery or drop you somewhere in his police car.

-If anyone touches you, make you uncomfortable OR dare to flirt with you, he will arrest them for a long time and make sure they will leave you alone.

-He won't be rude to you or harsh but he will be dominant (like every other characters except Lenora) because he is policeman, you will have to have some respect for him.

-He will kidnap you sooner rather than later, just in case no man will hurt you, this city is cruel...and he can have you for himself.

⤷ Willard Russell

-Willard couldn't take his eyes off of you, when he saw you at that bar. He will talk to you as long as possible and he will flirt with you. After your shift he will take you home to make sure you are fine, definitely not to find out where you live ;)

-He will come to that bar more often to see you and talk to you, will also protect you like that, because no man would even try to talk to you when they saw that Willard is near you.

-At night he will sneak into your house and sat next to your bed, watching you sleep for few hours, you now again just in case.

-He is the most possessive of them all, also the biggest stalker. If anyone will try to talk to you, he will wait on them somewhere in private so no one could see what he will do to that man, because i'm telling you the man that talked to you won't survive or he will have a REALLY hard time.

-He will kidnap you after just two months, this world is too dangerous for someone so beautiful and precious like you.

-He also wouldn't hurt you but he will manipulate you if you won't listen to him. He is also the most dominant, he is veteran so he has some discipline and will 'teach' you how to listen to him.

-Won't let you out of the house but otherwise you have freedom and if you need anything from the shop, he will either go with you or buy anything you need. Most of the time you will stay home tho.

⤷ Lenora Laftery 

-Lenora will meet you at school, you were her new classmate. She is the purest of them all but don't let her innocence fool you. She might be pure and innocent but she's not dumb, she can use it.

-From the start she will pray to god every night so he make her emotions for you vanish. But she will get use to them after some time.

-She will make herself a victim more than she already is to make you protect her from her bullies.

-She is more like your worshiper. Let's say you will became her new 'god' more like goddess, she will worship the ground you walk on, will pray every night for you and your love.

-She will also be a bit confused how much emotions she feels towards you, unhealthy emotions like lust, obsession, desire,... which she finds sinful and horrible but she cannot help herself.

-She won't stalk you... lot, but will kind of spend as much time with you as possible, which means sleepover or study dates (like she likes to call it, even tho they aren't)

-She also won't kidnap you made she will make herself look like a victim even more so you will stay by her side, if you talk to other guys she will act hurt and will say that the guys has been bullying her so you will eventually stop talking to him. She loves you and won't let you leave her side.

Preston is conflicted. He fell in love with a sweet loving person who helped everyone and restored peace. Having that peace come through violent acts when no one was looking made him feel weird. But he was doing the same thing, just on a small scale. After a while he grows used to it and doesn't blink an eye.

McCready is kind of into it. Your ability to kill someone and move on really does it for him, especially to make a point with only one warning. Fuck around and find out.

Hancock is the same. The fact you beat him to it only confirms you were meant to be together. He melts as he watches you go to town, breaking bones and cursing wildly, in complete awe. After, while your blood is still running and the victim isn't moving, he comes up behind you and hugs you, laying his head on your shoulder.

Nick wouldn't be a very good detective if you didn't know your tendencies before he decided to follow you. Or at least he would say so. When you have your little snaps you don't need to say anything, he hands you a weapon, any weapon. When your done he wipes your hands and gives you a long deep kiss.

Bill would be classified as an overprotective yandere. 

In order for Bill to have a crush on you it would be if you were nice to him and/or helped him with something he was struggling with. 

Then, he’s hooked. 

Unlike Ted, Bill would actually be engaging with you and try to learn more about you in a direct way. 

He would slowly start becoming friends with you but after a while he would need more. 

Again, he's a protective yandere and if you were being bullied, he would already be throwing his fists to defend you. 

Would that result in him getting his ass kicked? Probably, but he still tries and he had won a couple. 

Don't underestimate his strength, he definitely has some.

For months he has planned on kidnapping you after what happened at school but given his living situation, it would be impossible. 

As long as nothing major happens, Bill is content with waiting until he can get his own apartment. 

There are times when Bill would need Ted's help with planning on kidnapping you and he trusts his best friend to keep it a secret. 

When Bill finally takes you, he prefers to have you cuffed instead of ropes because you managed to almost escape because he thought double-knotting was enough. 

When it comes to punishments, the worst Bill would ever do would be removing your privileges to listen to music or watch television. 

When you finally adapt to the relationship, Bill would be an amazing boyfriend.

He could constantly make you laugh and play some of his favorite albums for you. 

He's not very big on PDA but since he doesn't let you leave anyway, there's nothing for him to worry about. 

His favorite place to kiss you would be your forehead and cheek.

Ted Theodore Logan

I classify Ted as being an obsessive yandere.

When he first saw you as a new student at San Dimas, he was immediately harboring a massive crush on you. 

However, in comparison to Bill, Ted would be more shy in approaching you and engaging in a conversation. 

This is where stalking would come into play and he really doesn’t play when it comes to finding out anything about you. 

If he owned a camera, he would take pictures of you from a distance and have them hidden somewhere in his room so his dad doesn’t find them. If he was ever caught, Ted doesn’t even want to imagine it.

Furthermore, Ted is not against sneaking love letters into your locker to proclaim how gorgeous you were and how much he thought about you.

Don’t ever ask him how much though, he literally thinks about you all the time and it’s extremely unhealthy where his grades were starting to slip because he was too busy imagining a life with you. 

One time he wasn’t paying attention and wrote both of your initials on his math test and it took almost a whole eraser to erase it from how hard he had the lead pressed against the paper. 

If something were to happen to you involving bullying, Ted would find a way to make sure that person was incredibly injured or better, dead.

He would need Bill’s help though because he wouldn’t be able to do it on his own and he knows his best friend wouldn’t tattle because Bill has been feeling the same way about his own crush!

Unfortunately, due to his living situation with literally living with his father being a police officer he would be unable to kidnap you. 

However, the time where he gets an apartment would be your downfall. He would not hesitate to kidnap you in order to have you to himself. 

One time you managed to escape because Ted didn’t tighten the ropes very well and one time he tied the rope like you would a shoelace. Please, help him. 

Ted doesn’t like giving punishments and he honestly doesn’t know how to do so. The only thing he would do to ‘punish’ you would be to strip you from your favorite snacks or something. 

In a relationship with him, he would be the sweetest yandere. 

Always complimenting you and playing some songs for you, even if it wasn't really that good but the sentiment was still there!

He’s extremely affectionate and loves kissing you and will kiss you anywhere.

His favorite place to kiss you are your lips and neck, he just finds you so attractive that he can’t help it.

With him, he must have a nice darling, [you] may be nice out of pity or out of the kindness of your heart, but he thinks it's the latter. Hopefully.

David is someone who could not bring himself to kill. David would rather die than hurt one of the campers, but it doesn't stop him from treating them rudely. [And by rudely, we mean that he wouldn't do as many activities the camper liked, such as he wouldn't make it mandatory for the campers like Max to show up at Preston's play, or something of the like.]

Gwen may notice this weird obsession with you, and how he babies you, but her worries are dispelled by the knowledge that David wouldn't do that. Right?

David [and any others observant enough] finds himself often giving you special treatment; going with what you suggest instead of what was planned, walking or otherwise sticking by you during activities, refusal to swap the channel [episode 8, season 4, After hours, for those wondering] from what you chose. And Max, being the little shit that he is, is quick to pick up on this and capitalize on it.

David and Max quickly find that it's an impasse between the two. David refuses to let you get roped in with the trio, and Max is adamant to use his obsession with you to get what he wants.

So, suddenly Max had to take a trip to the wood scouts.

It is unlike David to kidnap, however, he wouldn't mind if you got stuck, or lost, and missed the bus to go home and all of a sudden you have to stick with him until the bus arrives, but the bus won't arrive.

He's emotionally dependent on you, relying on your kindness to keep him afloat in this emotional world of his. Depending on the time, he may fall farthest into his obsession than ever, or he may be the lightest.

He wouldn't be afraid of becoming more confident in the terms of you, though. David would fight back if the Wood Scouts wanted to grab ahold of you, or even letting them just so that he could save you and have an excuse to hold you in the cabin instead of out with the other campers...

Although, he does realize that this is selfish of him, so it's a loop on whether or not he acts on that impulse of letting it happen, or if his sense of justice outweighs his sense of parental concern. If at the time where he knows that Jasper is dead, then he would act on it, letting it happen only to burst into the Wood Scouts and demand that you come back, his need to protect overpowering his urge of peace.

No matter what, you just have to get on the bus to go home. He would never follow you home! What's David doing at your school? Well, silly, he needs a job after the summer! Too bad he's your teacher.

I couldn’t think of anything else other than to run. Run to safety. Run to a nearby gas station or police station, I just needed to run. It was their fault I escaped, they left the bathroom window unlocked. I didn’t know if that was a test or not but I dared to take a chance. I knew they could kill me, they had killed everyone else.

            I could hear the leaves crunching behind me, they were getting closer. I could hear my blood rushing in my ears, I could feel myself slowing down and getting tired. I could most likely outrun Uno, but if I knew them, they would’ve sent Ten after me, he’s the strongest of them. Anna’s the fastest so it would be all too easy for her to catch up to me.

            I let out a squeal when I tripped over an exposed tree root and groaned when I tried to get up and my ankle twinged. This wasn’t good. Not at all. Without question they would find me now. I managed to drag myself behind a tree before trying to steady my breathing. My panting would surely give me away.

            The footsteps got impossibly closer and I put my hand over my mouth as if to silence my breathing. Then it got quiet, too quiet. “Here kitty, kitty.” A voice cooed. Anna. She was always the smartest of the lot, and I knew she would be the one to catch up first. “Here kitty, kitty.” She called again, this time her voice was closer. Too close for comfort. I placed my other hand over my heart as if to silence the pounding beat that I’m sure everyone could hear. “Come on kitten, that wasn’t very nice. We’ve been so good to you and this is how you repay us? By running away?” Her voice was way too close now, she was within feet of me and I could feel myself trying to mold into the tree, hoping she would turn and leave.

            It got quiet again, the kind of quiet that you can hear a pin drop, the kind of quiet that you could hear the thrumming of a rapid heartbeat. I couldn’t help the shriek that rose out of my throat when someone yanked me from the side. Even in the darkness, and even though he wore a mask, I could see the unforgiving eyes of Ten. I was right, they sent their smartest and strongest after me, knowing they would catch me. Anna’s silhouette was soon in my line of vision and there was no mistaking the smirk that was on her face.

            “Silly little kitten, making us chase you. You know we like games, this one might be our favorite yet now. But you cheated, Kitten,” I swallowed slightly, I knew they didn’t like cheaters, especially during a game. “And cheaters never win.” Ten said in that deep baritone voice that made me shiver. He rarely spoke but when he did, I was certain to send a shiver down my spine.

            Ten tried to move me again but I let out a small yell when my ankle twinged again, the pain much sharper than the last.

            Anna opened her mouth to say something else but I quickly muttered “yellow” and the atmosphere shifted entirely. “What happened?” Anna immediately asked as she put her hands on my cheeks. “I tripped over a fucking tree root, I think I messed up my ankle.” Preston without question, hoisted me completely into his arms as if I weighed nothing. “We’ll put some ice on it back home. I’ll go ahead and let the others know we’ll pick this up another time.” My girlfriend said but before she could leave I grabbed her hand.

            “Sorry we couldn’t finish the scene.” I said, disappointedly. This was our first time trying this kind of kink and mother nature ruined it. “Don’t apologize, Princess. It happens, we’ll try again once you’re all healed up.” Preston said as we could see the lights of the house getting closer. I didn’t say anything but just snuggled deeper into Preston’s chest as we went back home, and prayed for the healing process to be quick.

            We had way too much fun to not try that again.

Cait would be much more possessive and sometimes she would show her affections. She wants you to know and remember that you are hers.

She hates when you are around the others. Especially sweet people like Curie or Preston. She believes that you might realize that she is not that great, and will try to run away from her.
