When I got these tix I realized I had never seen them outside of a festival or radio show setting. Best case scenario seeing them at home on their short run of dates last week. Karen O did not disappoint. I mean her outfit alone! This set had a few from the new album (notably my fave Lovebomb) and of course a smattering of their well loved songs. Really happy to have gotten Soft Shock. And Date With The Night to end it was fantastic.

WE DID IT JOE!!!

This month has been so crazy thank you everyone who has seen my art this month, its been alot drawing (almost) every day but its also the first drawing challenge ive fully finished, even though there were alot of pieces i wish i spent more time on i am so proud of myself for being able to get through this especially during such a busy time of year for me!!

I wanna especially thank the hermit a day account for their lovely messages when reblogging my art!! They are one of my fav things to read when coming back to post and have been a great motivation for me to continue

As for what now, i want to keep drawing every day if i can!! Ive never had more motivation to create and i hope i can continue to improve and draw more (also thinking of compiling all my timelapses together into a video if anyone wants that x)

As its the final day have a special sneak peak at a rig im about to work on for a little animation🤭 (very convinent it is etho day today too LOL)

its lost in my likes but there was this great post about female characters and motherhood and how it's never really explored as a nuanced thing - it's either portrayed as something ALL women inherently should aspire to or it's seen as something that makes a female character regressive

which is why I want to explore that with biyaya. you know when ppl say some people are just born to be a parent? well that's biyaya, she's always meant to be a mom, not because she's a woman but just because that's who she is as a person

and perfectly enough she falls in love w davrin who is basically a dad already
