So... I finally got around to read Sweet and Sour Dipplin (currently just finished reading Chapter 4) and I must say (this is going to be quite long):

1. I love the overall pacing you put in the story. The story flows really smoothly

2. You really put Ribombee's pokedex entry into good use and went all out with incorporating that into the fic and put a bit of your own twists into it (it really is astounding. I am now starting to understand the Ribombee lore hype)

3. The way you write Drayton. Sometimes I am tempted to give him a knuckle sandwich (so far it's delivered with love). Other times, I can't help but laugh at how funny some of his scenes are. Him x iconic slaps.

4. Kieran. You absolute MaDLaD of a SIMP. Hopefully he can get a good rest he so righfully deserved (in Juliana's arms).

5. I am so looking forward to the moment when the Area Zero crew makes their official appearance in BB Academy.

I would like to say more but I'll save it for another ask. And based on everyone's reactions on the latest chapters so far, I guess I'll have to prepare myself for one hell of a rollercoaster as I continue reading 😅

I'm sorry but when I get really chunky reviews like this, no matter where it is, I just feel so incredibly fuzzy & it really motivates me to keep writing.

I have missed drawing them!#Ah...the contrast between how the flashback ended (cold and distrustful) to how wwx wakes up (warm and watched over)...#The gap between the past and present is very important. Not just in this story but in our lives too.#The past can still hurt and it doesn't just go away with time as some say. It is the power of realizing that things have changed.#We can't get the good back. The bad memories have concluded. Those live somewhere else now.#It is hard to realize that you have to live for today and tomorrow. The past is so loud.#For WWX it is realizing that despite the mistrust in the past - He really does have faith that LWJ will be there for him.#It is the reflection of knowing that you changed and will keep changing and that change is good and kind sometimes.#But more importantly...and this I really do mean with all my heart:#It will all end up okay in the end. Even after the worst day. The most painful losses. You will get through it.#What feels like a breaking point is truthfully just another step you have to take. Mikey and Leo episode centered around Mikey wanting to push Leo and Draxum together since Leo’s the most reluctant to give Draxum any grace (for good reason!) But, thinking on the spot, Leo says he’s gotta go do something for Hueso and “just can’t hang out right now 😔” (yes, he says the emoji out loud.)

Mikey calls his bluff and now the three of them (Mikey having grabbed a weary Draxum along) go to Hueso’s to find that yes, he actually does have a job for him. Said job asks for Leo to go with Hueso to deliver multiple pizzas to this giant yokai quite a distance away, and Hueso figured it would probably go better with Leo’s help (emphasis on probably.)

Well, Mikey decides that this would be a great bonding opportunity for them and basically invites he and Draxum along. Unfortunately for Leo, Hueso doesn’t care enough to wave away more help, though he does side-eye the wanted criminal Baron Draxum coming with them. But who is he to judge? (This choice has consequences.)

The journey goes about as terribly as you’d expect, but at least the pizzas get delivered on time.
