And then you get to swap immediately to the other POV where the "suave" "cool" "effortlessly sexy" guy in question is panic-texting his ex-boss's wife begging her to tell him what to do because I fucked up Sarah I really like him Sarah I'm sorry I know it's 11pm Sarah I'm going to fling myself off the roof Sarah!!!!!

Anyway. None of you know what or who I'm talking about but that's okay, I'M having fun. And you all will too when I get you to read this fic and join me in rarepair hell.

Why couldn't Aloy just put the damn cannon on a charger's back and take it off at the Bulwark?? No, they had to make Kotallo get on his fucking knees and tells her he has a strong back. Honestly this is how I picture the devs while writing that scene down:

No no no, we have to make him carry the cannon for her

Why though? Normally she wouldn't accept it, and she could just strap it around the charger's back, they're not walking through any slopes

No, we need him to do this for her to show he can do it even after his injury

I would say the devs didn't intend to make their relationship like this in the first place, that it grew conscious and evolved into what it is. That maybe they just wanted Kotallo to be a relatable companion who understands her in a deeper level and still respects her for who she is instead of putting her on a pedestal, that both their respect for each other is earned and eventually growing to friendship and fondness. But all the hints of Elisabet not loving anyone, then Tilda's relationship with her, Varl and Zo, Talanah and Amadis, the Enduring, and a bunch of other things the game throws at you... I can't say that wasn't in the back of their minds the whole time...

And plus, the shameless flirting we got going on (god the VAs were in for it huh)
