Reliving dark experiences aside. Nope, not mad about you hating Spamano at all, I don't particular care about it myself so yourself. Completely agree about that, it's like what plague do you have that demands anyone in close proximity must be romantically involved. Friendships are a thing, we can do things couples do without romantic intent. I once rode the old mill ride with a friend for fun, no romance whatsoever. it’s odd that you felt threatened in 2016 b/c for me, most toxic shippers were gone by then. i mean once or twice i got someone yelling at me to ship gerita instead bc it’s better, but not often.

speaking of what you said, do you ever feel super threatened at other interps of your faves? like i get so fuckin anxious, enraged at the person, and get like an anxiety attack, so i have to be super careful to avoid certain interps, and generally avoid the hetalia tag all together to avoid an episode :/ oh mental illness is fun

i also feel rly threatened when ppl shit on less serious interps like fuck off? not everything has to involve the dark parts of history like war and shit? some ppl already deal w a lot of bad stuff irl and come to fiction to think abt good things? like me??? i already have trauma so why would i want 2 think about fictional characters doing bad things??? they can b realistic without having murdered 300 people and their uncles for funsies? and also just bc history is a thing doesnt mean the characters had to have willingly went along w things

i love my interps but im always 2 scared to do stuff with them bc people are mean :/ esp my italy interp b/c he’s very similar to canon and for some reason people act like canon = bad. i just like shipping and also dumb shit why am i less valid for not liking dark interps :where everyone’s willingly a power hungry murderous sex obsessed monster :/
