When Zoe joined the hunt, Artemis promised her many things : freedom, sisterhood, youth, support, a purpose, power and stars. Many stars. From all around the world.

But none of them could have guessed how stargazing could end up leading to so much more...

Random pjo/hoo college au headcanons:

Zoë Nightshade

Is an astronomy major but does take a GSWS class

(stands for Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies)

She's aroace and sex repulsed

Started a club for Aspec students to hangout

Met Artemis at the Aspec club, and was platonically mesmerised by her

Joined the Hunters of Artemis (a sort of sorority that Artemis started a while back) halfway through her first year

She joined because she loved the idea of a safe space for girls to do archery, live in the wild, etc.

(Also because she has a MASSIVE squish on Artemis)

Is currently the RA for their dorm

A lot of the girls come to her for advice or for comfort since Artemis isn't the most open person

Because of this, all the girls consider her as the dorm 'Mom'

Zoë knows this and doesn't mind (she actually really likes it)

Has to fix everyone's messes

“Zoë, I shot my teacher again”

“I am this close, Jesse”

Thalia is her problem child and Zoë can't talk to her without a cup of coffee in hand

“Want to join my punk-rock band?”

“I will literally jump off the roof of this building before that happens, Thalia”

Phoebe helps her here and there when Artemis can't

Bianca and Reyna are her favourites (too bad they don't live in the dorm with the rest of the Hunters)

Her sleep schedule is weird.

Sometimes she sleeps for eight hours, sometimes it's a full day and sometimes it's two hours

Regardless coffee is a necessity

The girls offer her different teas and she tries them all

Never attends college parties and avoids study groups like the plague

Is currently trying to convince the school faculty to work on the old university planetarium, instead of another football field

Artemis had a special jersey made for Zoë

It's silver, with star designs made to look like different constellations. The biggest one is a made up constellation of a female hunter using a bow and arrow.

It's Zoë's favourite thing in the world and she wears it everywhere.

She tends to give the hunters pats on the head when they've done good

Is torn between becoming an astronomy professor or a gender rights activist

“Do both.”

“Artemis… you have the best ideas”

Doesn't believe in aliens, but will listen to Bianca's theories all day

Do you guys think that Artemis/Diana ever sees Reyna and thinks of Zoë?

Ever sees Thalia and Reyna just doing daily chores and thinks of her life with Zoë?

Does her heart ache knowing how little time they'll get to spend together? Watching them unknowingly makes those beautiful memories

Knowing eternity wouldn't be enough for them, as it wasn't for her and Zoë

Does she find bittersweet comfort in knowing that at least they'll reach Elysium, that they'll be together while she is, once again left alone looking at the stars.

hey, thanks for asking! sorry for the delayed reply, i haven't been on tumblr lately. and to be honest, i really haven't been writing anything lately either. i think the last time i wrote something was months ago, and it was about caitlyn and vi from the show arcane...

i definitely do have some ideas for future zartemis fics, and zartemis will forever hold a special place in my heart, but i don't think I'll be writing about them anytime soon/during this summer. i just graduated high school and am headed to a college that's pretty far from home this fall, so i'm gonna be super busy prepping for that whole transition-to-college thing.

but who knows, maybe once everything starts to settle down again, you'll see some new fics under that ao3 zartemis tag :) thank you again for reading my works and reaching out, and it means to world to me that you enjoy my zartemis fics <3
