1948 Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series 1

Howard finally opens the S.H.I.E.L.D. agency and makes Peggy director. The SSR keep the Playground base and are absorbed into S.H.I.E.L.D. as their research division.

Howard's greater authority and larger amount of resources from the government (as well as his own) allow them to pull in more heroes.

S.H.I.E.L.D. will fight terrorist cells and non-state actors, investigate supernatural phenomena, also deal with and cover up powered people cos the general public "can't handle the truth". This is part of their mandate from the government and S.H.I.E.L.D. is threatened with closure or refusal of funding many times for trying to circumvent this aspect of their role within said government.

Director Carter is trying to maintain a long distance relationship with Sousa and has to investigate the "hit" on Agent Thomson.

Zodiac is the main story for this series.

Zodiac is behind the assassination attempt, with the council of 9 previously being under them. Vernon Masters returns to do their bidding (never saw a body right?). Peggy's brother has been alive all this time and it was his redacted file that Thomson was to smear Peggy with and not actually Peggy's (Michael's name and d.o.b. were redacted just leaving the surname Carter and informants that heavily implied that it was Peggy). With the smear failed, the Zodiac group want it back, for safe keeping. Thomson is the only one outside of the Zodiac or the council of 9 that has read it, so he was supposed to be killed, but they hired Dottie to do it and she was able to make it look like she was trying to kill him without killing him ("if I'd wanted to kill him he'd be dead"). She arranges a meet with Peggy in a subterfugey way, info dumps, insists she really was trying to be helpful by taking the hit job, and manages to wriggle away again.

Zodiac is led by Marcus Lassiter (A buff Milo Ventimiglia with a cool beard). Marcus has the codename Aries and wears ram horns at the meetings which seems silly at first till we realise they are functional and they all have silly costumes. Marcus has super-human strength, which we don't see initially.

All of the Zodiac members have themed powers/tech:

Taurus (Cornelius Van Lunt) has bought his seat on the board and isn't afraid to use that fact. He has a bull's head costume. He also has dangerous horns.

Gemini (Joshua and Damian Link) are identical twins have identical costumes and carry identical dual wielding pistols. They have an amazing synergy when they fight as a duo. They only get one vote between them. 

Cancer (Jack Kleveno) has a crab costume. That is all I have to say about that.

Leo (Daniel Radford) is a dude in a lion suit. It has a lion mask and an exoskeleton that gives the wearer enhanced strength, agility and durability. 

Virgo (Elaine McLaughlin) has an extraterrestrial material coating her suit which gives her great durability and shock absorption. It also allows her to heal/regenerate herself or others. In my head, crab man gets injured by S.H.I.E.L.D. and Elaine comes back and gets captured just to heal her secret crustacean lover.

Libra (Gustav Brandt) has a hi tec blindfold that allows him limited psychic abilities and a teleportation ring. Martial artist too.

Scorpio (Jake Fury) has a costume with venom blasts and neurotoxic sprays. Yes. That Fury. In the comics he is Nick's brother. Here he would have to be his dad. In the series he is only referred to as Jake initially to keep his identity a slight surprise.

Sagittarius (Harlan Vargas) has an eye mask that grants enhanced vision and tracking abilities. He is highly skilled with a bow and arrow.

Capricorn (Willard Weir) is green. I'm thinking they're an alien. This superpower ideas site says Capricorn might have shape shifting abilities so they could be a Skrull masquerading as a Willard Weir.

Aquarius (Michael Carter) has a water based costume and weapons. Michael was not happy with the smear on Peggy but went along with it for fear of repercussions.  But now her life is under threat, so he leaves warnings for her to help her avoid getting killed. Eventually Aries discovers the betrayal and beats Michael to death in his secret apartment. Peggy comes across the apartment as part of the S.H.I.E.L.D. investigation and discovers the body. She realises he was the one giving warnings (to help them avoid traps, ambushes etc) and finds a note he wrote for her when he knew Aries was coming for him. It's written in their shared childhood code. It explains his motivations (he was trying to change the world for the better) and gives some info about what Zodiac are going to do next. Zachary Drebb is the second Aquarius.

Piesces (Noah Perricone) is blue and looks like he'd be good in the water so I'm thinking Talokanil

S.H.I.E.L.D. discover there is an off-books SSR mole on the inside. They are furious with Flynn for not telling them straight away. Flynn thought it would compromise the mole's safety.

As the Zodiac members are arrested or killed during the S.H.I.E.L.D. investigation, Jake Fury is revealed as the SSR mole. He tries to escape with the actual Zodiac key but it corrupts him and he tries to incite rebellion within the remaining Zodiac council members to effect social change. This just causes everyone to squabble and fight. Aries finds this amusing, but comes for Jake nevertheless. Jake ends up losing the key back to Aries, but escapes with his life.

Aries reveals himself as an actual god at the end of the series. He was cast out by Zeus for causing too much trouble in Omnipotence City and bound to be peaceful. He has taken that to mean he can't fight personally and has been manipulating world events with extracts from the aforementioned Zodiac Key to cause as much conflict as possible. The S.H.I.E.L.D. team have been annoying him by thwarting his plans. He says he is tired of being subtle.

They need the whole team, including Dottie, Sousa, Thomson and the Howling commandos using Stark tech and the Human Torch (Jim), Union Jack II (Brian) and Spitfire (Jacqueline). Peggy also calls in a favour from California based Adam Brashear (aka Blue Marvel) to help take him down. As Adam was the love interest from the previous series, this risks embarrassment for Peggy and could possibly end her relationship with Sousa, but the stakes are too high not to.

Ultimately Jim is the only one not affected by the Zodiac key and has to go Supernova to knock him out. He knew he was becoming unstable and had been advised he might go supernova, he just decides to do it on purpose. Heroic sacrifice! The team is devastated at the loss.

A relationship between Jim and Jacqueline would be built up through the series so she would take this the hardest.

Zeus could come and actually bind Ares with power dampening bangles. This physically prevents him from conflict instead of just getting his word. He is captured and will not be seen again till Dark Avengers.

S.H.I.E.L.D. recommends Adam for a commendation and Jim for a posthumous one. The CIA intervene and say that not only will no one will be getting one but no one must hear of it. The existence of gods and aliens is very much covered up at the behest of the American government so as not to cause mass hysteria. No one outside of the President and the people who were at the final battle know anything about it.

Adam is told he cannot be publicly rewarded and is no longer allowed to fight crime (he has been fighting crime in a costume and mask to hide his identity) as the CIA believe the world is not ready for a black superhero. The President reluctantly confirms this. S.H.I.E.L.D. must assign him a handler (he is so going to fight crime).

As Jim was essentially a sentient weapon the CIA won't publicly acknowledge his existence and stipulate he must be buried in the desert in an indestructible airtight box. The President reluctantly confirms this too.

Dottie disappears after making a significant contribution and manages to stay off radar until the first Black Widow movie…

Peggy and Sousa decide to carry on with their long distance relationship.

Namor shows up when he finds out about Noah. He is not happy that his citizen was defeated and arrested and he vows never to return. He is also not happy with said citizen for acting without his consent and forces S.H.I.E.L.D. to release him into Talokanil custody. He is sorry about Jim Hammond's passing though and stays for the burial in a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. location in the desert.

Post credits:- Peggy calls Marlene Frazier and asks, as she has been with Adam this whole time anyway, if she'll be his handler. He comes home and gives her a kiss, they have developed a relationship while working together. She says she is happy to keep an eye on him.

I wish the wheel was numbered sequentially but it’s actually kinda crazy how thematically relevant each of these signs were for their character’s arc in krakoa. The replacement members also work too, touching on different aspects of their signs.

Castor isn't an Astral

So we know that Gemini controls duality, and is an entity of duality. The are made of two, one male, one female, one calm, one excited, two opposites but one together. But they are both made of star power.

Castor has mentioned that he gets headaches when people use star power, similar to Lunar getting nauseous in reaction to negative star power. It also seems odd because, from what we can see, Castor, and by extension Gemini, is one of the most disliked among the Zodiac council. Castor is the one assigned to warn people of the consequences of using star power, despite the fact that most of the people who use it have a moral compass that is not unwilling to kill anything in their way. Additionally, Castor has been weirdly insistent that he can die. It is not as though the other Astrals are all immortal, Gemini has mentioned that the Astrals reincarnate when they die, but not only is Castor insistent that he can die, Pollux has also expressed concern for his life. Now this is normal, what with them being siblings and their apparent life-link, but we do find it odd that it has been pointed out multiple times. From what is seen it can be assumed that Castor is at least the weakest of the Astrals. But we think there's something more-

Lunar has mentioned that negative star power makes him feel nauseous but Castor has never mentioned feeling anything about negative energy, but has mentioned that the use of star power gives him a headache. So what would that lead us to?

Castor is a being of negative star power.

It explains why he is generally disliked by the Astrals, being what they are trying to stop. It explains why it is so implied he can die to a mortal being using star power, the method for getting rid of negative energy being to overpower it with positive energy. It explains the poor reaction to star power. AND it makes sense for the concept of duality Gemini represents!

Levy is the most "like that" out of the Fairy Kids. She has a glock and everything. When she was younger she always wanted the smoke.

Freed is the most "like that" out of the Thunder Legion. The Wizard Saints fear him. The Council fears him. Laxus loves him.

Bickslow's babies have deemed Lisanna as they mama. Bickslow doesn't mind.

All dragons have a "dragon thing." Wendy can stop storms in their tracks several countries away. Gajeel's a human metal detector and magnet. Sting's a human glowstick. Rogue can bend rooms to his will if they're pitch black. Natsu has the highest spice tolerance in all of Earthland, AND he sheds scales regularly that can be mini-bombs if used correctly.

All dragon slayers (THAT HAD DRAGON PARENTS) are 85% dragon and 15% human. I didn't make the rules. They all have tails and horns and visible scales.

Dragon Slayers have a hoard network where they share treasures (i'll elaborate on this later)

Interesting facts about the free comic book day MH book

It starts out with a letter from Bloodgood banning all normie interactions

We then cut to Frankie and their dad, who’s trying to perfect the reanimation process, which hasn’t been done before

Frankie’s dad hasn’t left his office in a while and Frankie is worried

Frankie’s also worried that they aren’t “perfect” and Dad specifies that they’re different from the reanimation thing, and calls them “An amalgamation of the world’s greatest minds and kindest souls” which is cute

Also Frankie’s dad is in shadow the whole time it’s very concerning

Frankie then leaves due to getting a call from Cleo, who seems mad about something Clawdeen did, but we don’t know what.

Then Clawdeen calls Frankie and it seems that Clawdeen doesn’t know what Cleo’s upset about, and that Frankie isn’t actually all that sure themselves. Also, neither of them have heard from Draculaura and last year was hard on her, though we don’t entirely know what happened.

Also the Bloodgood letter I mentioned earlier specifies that the rules were put in place due to an unspecified turn of events last year, which is possibly the same event that Draculaura was involved in

Back in the lab, Frankie’s dad suddenly has an idea as to the missing piece to the reanimation thing

However, his notes have vanished, and where stolen by a mysterious cloaked figure whose also in the lab.

Frankie’s dad begs for the notes back, saying he’d do anything. The hooded figure wants him to work with them on something

Back with Frankie, they’re still talking to Clawdeen (and also looking at a photo of the two of them + Draculaura and Cleo) and saying that they think the Cleo and Clawdeen incident was a big misunderstanding.

Then the To Be Continued hits, this is basically just a teaser

We then get some cute profiles of the four ghouls in this online profile style for the MonsterNet!

It mentions everyone’s zodiac signs so in case anyone’s curious: Frankie’s a cancer, Drac’s an aquarius, Clawdeen’s a taurus, and Cleo’s a virgo.

They also have usernames, Frankie’s “FrightfullyFr4nkie” Drac’s “Bl33dingHeart16” Clawdeen’s “ClawdeensClawset” and Cleo’s “QueenCleo”

While Toralei seems to have finished her redemption arc Meowlody and Purrsephone don’t seem very nice, specifically to Frankie

Drac’s apparently a student bloody council member and part of the monster ball planning committee, like in Gen3, so that’s cool.

Drac’s online diary entry (oh yeah they have online diary stuff up) gives some more information on The Incident. She didn’t have much free time, and couldn’t process her feelings on something. That something seems to be the thing that got human interaction banned, at least to me.

Drac also had to sit through a bunch of boring meetings, had to answer a lot of questions, and was forced to drink blood (what these meetings are for is unknown) and she’s doing it to make her dad proud

The phrase “I smile through it all though” really makes me think we have a “Drac is unhealthily repressing her emotions and is really sad under her skin” arc on our hands, which I would argue didn’t come out of nowhere? She did seem to have some serious self esteem issues in Frights Camera Action

Clawdeen does OOTDs and restyle tutorials on her blog and also has a link to her fashion catalog.

She’s been having a creativity boom, but her parents have been kinda distant lately.

So is Toralei who’s Clawdeen explicitly calls her girlfriend.

In all fairness Clawdeen says she only feels like her parents and Toralei have been distant and isn’t actually sure. She’s apparently throwing herself into her work

Clawdeen briefly considers calling Toralei to see if everything’s ok but decides against it, saying she thinks everything’s good

I haven’t mentioned it until now since it’s mostly information we already know but the profiles list the ghouls’ ages and Cleo’s age is finally fully specified, being 5,842 years old

She’s been reading a lot of romance scrolls, like, a lot of romance scrolls.

Her bio has what I think is an in-universe song lyric due to music note emojis surrounding it “the underworld’s princess, wrapped in the finest linen”

Nefera’s apparently been talking about her having a bunch of international suitors including a guy from another dimension

Cleo seems to be, and don’t yell at me for this next part cause it’s gonna make a lot of people upset, but she seems to be falling out of love with Deuce.

Like, she seems to still like him, he’s on her friends list, she just doesn’t feel like he’s being poetic enough.

There’s schedules for MH comics coming from 2024-2025. The Pride comics might actually come in May if this calendar is correct

Jacque Aye (the author who has an interview section at the end) describes the story as following the ghouls navigating major changes in their lives as students go missing. Sounds fun honestly

Also she mentions that while prior knowledge of the series is recommended, it’s not required.

This is a VERY SILLY idea I got earlier this week and it took over my brain so please enjoy the Fruits Basket characters as cats! (Bonus fun: see if you can guess who they are before scrolling down!)

Mabudachi Trio + Kureno

Hatori - I went back and forth with him on whether he'd be a black cat or a Siamese cat, but his eyes are so striking! It was hard to find photos of black cats with naturally blue eyes (I'm sure they exist!)

Shigure - a Russian Blue, obviously

Ayame - clearly an elegant white long-hair

Kureno - a derpy and sad-looking chocolate tortoiseshell

Yuki is the silver tabby who looks like he regrets all his life choices lol

he knows Joze's older sister name Rosy because she is a student council President in akademi and ichiko Saikou is use to be former secretary

How some things work in my GD Universe (mostly time and Demon related stuff)

Some are very old old facts I may have mentioned on Twitter over 2 years ago but it’s better to say those here because I can put as much text and explanation as I want

RobTop is some sort of mysterious entity

Each version corresponds to a decade: 1.0 was the 1900s, 1.9 was the 90s, 2.1 was 2010s (the 2010s were a very busy decade indeed).

I have a way too complicated way of calculating how events in a version happen in the decade. Example: Zodiac became number 1 on the Demonlist on March 9th 2019 in 2.1. In-universe that would be February 2nd 2013.

Also, with how I calculate things, I have no way of placing 2.2 events on a timeline yet (I’d have to wait until a 2.3 release date drops). (but going by 2.1 logic, we’d currently still be in 2020)

A levels isn’t necessarily born on the version/decade they were made in. Example: Cataclysm was born in the late 60s even tho he is a 1.9 level, he was in his early 20s in the early 90s.

I am very attached to the Demonlist which means most events/character ages are tied to it (demons are usually around 18-35 when they get a placement in the list)

The main levels are pretty much immortal thanks to RobTop

Demons aren't really demons, they're just people with horns and tails and they're usually very strong. Nobody really knows how they appeared. They also have longer lifespans.

Humans and Demons live with each other no problem (at least currently), however, Insane and Extreme Demons (some Hard too) tend to stay together.

A demon's power is (obviously) classified by how their horns look.

A demon's placement in the Demonlist isn't necessarily determined by who they can beat in a battle. A council-thing decides (list mods basically). That's why it's very rare for a placement to be changed by a lot.

Demons may want a high placement because of the influence it could give them (or just for fun)

Obito Headcanons

(These are from my old blog).

These headcanons are usually about Obito being a shinobi of Konoha or as a Hokage:

-Obito is able to unlock Susanoo even with one eye. (If Shisui can do it in the game, so can he.)

-Even if he returns to Konoha from Madara's hideout and grows up and becomes the Hokage, Obito still suffers from PTSD. His PTSD is what fuels his desire to put an end to fighting and maintain deep bonds in the village.

-Obito is a Cat Dad. As we all know, it's the one-eyed black cat whom he names Tobi.

-Obito is one of the scariest shinobis that enemies have ever come across, because of how stealthy and unpredictable he is. Sometimes they call him "the cheater of death" because he always manages to fool his enemies into thinking that they got him, but nope.

-Obito would be a member of the Konoha Military Police Force in an AU where he returns to Konoha or if he survives the boulder. :)

-As he matures, his personality is more reserved and collected. There are times when he gets reactive, like when Kakashi gets all snarky on him, but other than that, he becomes less of the stubborn boy he was (depends on the circumstance, because he does get hardheaded at times) and more focused.

-This may not be a headcanon, but when I first saw that Obito is an Aquarius, I couldn't think of anything more right for him. I'm no expert in zodiacs, and I don't know if it's a coincidence, but honestly, I think Obito being an Aquarius is a completely fitting horoscope, especially for the type of character that he is. Ambitious, clever, and also rebellious - he refuses to be a sheep to the norm of society, in this case the shinobi world.

-Obito incorporates his Akatsuki leadership skills into his role as the Hokage. He is a good leader. He gives off a rather intimidating vibe (despite his friendliness), and he definitely cannot stand anything that falls out of order. He is ruthless when he needs to be. His enemies are definitely afraid of him, because once he's provoked, it's over.

-Obito would be the one to lead Danzo's termination (or execution) because he's the one that sees through Danzo's bullshit, and Obito would influence the Konoha Council and Hokage to see through Danzo and expose him as a traitor of the Leaf that wants to annihilate the Uchiha and overthrow Minato as the Hokage.

-Obito would actually be the bridge of peace between the Uchiha Clan and Konoha. At the starting, the Uchiha Clan considered him to be the "black sheep" because of the fact that Kakashi achieved more than he did. But Obito is simply a late bloomer. As he grows up, he would eventually surpass Kakashi. Hell, his Sharingan had 2 tomoe when he first unlocked it, and that's already a stepping stone to becoming a stronger shinobi of his clan. And when he does, Obito becomes more respected by the clan, and in a way, he can influence the underlying political tension between the Uchiha and Konoha. Obito would be the one who is capable of dispelling the unrest and allow the village and the clan to form a better truce.

-Obito loves to stay in shape, so he exercises every day. It's one of his best hobbies.

-Obito would actually be really good friends with Shisui and Itachi, and the three of them working together as a team makes them one of Konoha's strongest trio of the Uchiha Clan. They're the first people in his clan to acknowledge him.

-Most people would see that Obito would have a close relationship with Naruto, but he would actually have a close relationship with both, Sasuke and Naruto. He helps train Sasuke when Itachi is off on a mission, and when Sasuke gets upset with Itachi, Obito would comfort him and only tell him that his brother loves him very much and not take things too personally. He makes sure Sasuke understands the importance of comrades and teamwork. He and Naruto are too alike, so they tend to clash with their ideals. They are both hardheaded and stubborn, so they rile each other up. But Obito would usually be the one to treat Naruto to Ichiraku when Naruto succeeds in something.

-In a post-war AU, Obito would be a fun uncle to Sarada. He'd be her favorite person to spend time with. He's protective of her, and he's always there to comfort her when she starts to miss Sasuke, or if she starts to doubt herself, and he would train her regularly and teach her certain Uchiha techniques. Obito would usually tell her how much she is like her father, which makes Sarada happy and excited. He would sometimes teleport Sarada and Sakura to see Sasuke on the occasion that Sasuke is able to see them. There are times when only Obito is able to see Sasuke, and he'd update him on everything about Sarada.

-Obito's sense of humor only gets darker as he grows up. It just does.

-As the Hokage, he'd be the one to bring the 5 villages together and establish peaceful diplomatic relations with their nations. He'd also give Amegakure the support and protection that it needs, and it would be off-limits and no longer be used as a battleground. The original Akatsuki, the ones that Yahiko, Konan and Nagato established to strive for peace, would actually gain Obito's support when Hanzo starts to only chase after power and disrupt peace. Obito would be the first to establish proper diplomatic relations between Ame and Konoha.

-Obito sometimes brings out his Tobi personality during infiltration or spy missions. xD

-(this is sort of canon but it can be incorporated into an AU where Obito is a Konoha shinobi) Since Obito is a very intelligent shinobi, he's often relied on to read through enemies and he'd be the team's tactician. He has exceptional observational skills, which makes him reliable in knowing what's the best approach to pursue. He's good at predicting outcomes too, so the element of surprise doesn't get to him. He's a master manipulator when he has to infiltrate his enemies; he's the one that knows how to get closer without being harmed, and get the intel that he needs in order to complete the mission.

-Obito isn't afraid to get his hands dirty when it comes to extracting information from his enemies. His genjutsu techniques are brutal, and he scares them in his Kamui dimension, since they can't get out. Konoha's Interrogation and Torture Squad would rely on him sometimes when suspects want to be difficult and when there's no time to waste.

-His favorite weapon is anything involved with chains.

-Obito would take out his frustrations and emotional turmoil in his Kamui dimension, because he hates being vulnerable in front of anyone. He would cry alone over there if he has to.

-He stops being a crybaby after the age of 16.

-Even if he becomes the Hokage, he resides in the Uchiha compounds so he can be close to the Uchiha Clan. They all love him and respect him like crazy. Shisui would be his right-hand man along with Kakashi, even though Shisui is also Itachi's right-hand man (Itachi would be the clan head by the time Obito is the Hokage).

-The system of allowing children to choose a ninja life or civilian life would be established by Obito, and carried on later by Naruto.

-I said this before and I'll say it again, Obito has a yandere streak.

-Just like Itachi, Obito has a sweet tooth and loves desserts and dango. Sometimes he and Itachi would hang out together at the dango cafe or just by a lake or riverside with a bag of their favorite sweets. His least favorite food is anything liver-based.
