This is a PSA to the void to the masses:

All those AI-read videos you see that read out stories of heroes and other fictional characters? Pro tip! The ones that give a character's REAL NAME in situations where it shouldn't be used? IE: they say "Bruce Wayne" instead of "Batman" in front of civilians or members of the League who don't know his identity? The ones that openly connect Clark Kent and Superman in a story's internet sphere? Yeah. Those are AI generated posts, too.

AI can not understand perspective, in the same way young children can't. When you tell it to keep secrets from those who shouldn't know a secret identity, it will act like it understands, because its trained to do that, for reasons like marketing and customer satisfaction, but it won't actually understand and follow through. This mirrors how very young children won't understand that other people might not know something that they do. This is to say, toddlers up to the age of about 4. For a short explanation: here is a video on research of children's psychology and the "false-belief" test that is used to demonstrate this inability to understand perspective in children. I've linked it again at the end.

So. While AI may have advanced language skills, it falls behind in other key areas of human cognitive development, which makes it seem inhuman. An AI does not understand the concept of different perspectives and may not understand that it does not know everything or that others don't know everything.
