Gravity falls headcanons(?)

dipper and Mabel have ptsd, probably. Like, imagine in math class Dipper sees a triangle and all he's reminded of is the overwhelming fear of no control and being possess, not knowing what will happen next. A reminder, an alluring presence of evil?

And Mabel has such a hard time adjusting after Armageddon thing, all the things she enjoys just throws her off. She has to remind herself that it's real, that she is actually in school surrounded by friends and not lying to herself.

Every slightly odd thing that happens, Mabel and Dipper are both hyper-aware of. They have to notice because if it doesn't, it could kill them.

But they go back each summer until they can't because apart of them. It's their youth, their dignity, their fun. Dipper obsesses, and Mabel deflects with optimism.

The trauma these children hold. It's like Steven universe all over again, too much pressure on LITERAL children.

House is definitely autistic, right?

Gregory House from the show Houss M.D i'm pretty sure is autistic. Although, he's a huge ass blah blah blah.

He consistently breaks rules and is rude, knowing what they are. Given his background with his dad, he most likely suffered some sort of abuse and rules were shoved down his throat. Don't listen or survive.

This resulted in house somewhat understanding what the rules/norms are but not why.

He's an asshole because relationships are overrated to him, harder. Not having to talk to people is bliss.

He has problems with change, as if it is an itch. This was shown (spolier) when House was shot and wanted "his" carpet back.

Vicodin addiction is almost a defensive mechanism against people, also being a self destructive habit. Plus, addiction is addiction. House probably has clinical depression tbh.

The way House obsesses over cases is like solving a puzzle for him, he needs to do it. His job is his life. When he's brazenly honest, it's due to his philosophy of 'everybody lies'. They do, but making it your core belief is extreme. House honors honesty, yet doubts it. The truth is important to him, the complex relationship of lying is his truth.

In conclusion, Greg probably has ptsd, ODD(operational defiance disorder), and depression, autism, or all of the above.

Looking at that friend you had in elementary, you were inseparable, friends for no reason other than love, only to look at them and realize you're no longer best friends, only acquaintances.

Being 13 and looking at your best friend who got you through the shitstorm you called yourself, watching as you both either grow or stay behind, knowing your paths will soon part.

Having fun at 17, scared for the future together, only to be the opposites later on.

Finding that one video or meme, or reference you know that one person would get. That they would laugh with you and add on, making you laugh. Except, you no longer talk and now it's just a stranger making a stranger laugh.

I think I just had a realization about my brain. My father, a pretty average and likable guy has recently picked up another job, working 16 hours a day for the majority of the week. And the sleep deprivation is hitting him.

Along with this, there's been an upcoming joke in my house about my dad acting more like me and my mother(we both have adhd and junk) and I find it really funny.

My brain is like being sleep deprived, confused, and anxious all day.

society, I'm actually begging you. Let men wear dresses. They look pretty and handsome, so please. And dresses were originally made for men anyway, it's way more comfortable than pants where you have to constantly shift and adjust for comfort. It doesn't even have to be about gender identity (that is the individual's decision) it can just be about feeling good and nice. Nor does it have to be about sexuality.

Straight men, wear a dress, it's nice, ok? (If you want to of course) i swear it's the hottest thing ever. So, please, please, please, let men wear dresses without fear of being judged.

As a child, my ass would actually pass out because there were too many people/a lot of socializing.

I'd get overstimulated and then....pass out, dead ass pass out. Not sleeping but passing out.

writing advice

when you're writing from a certain character's view, they're not going to be the character.

For example, character A's perspective won't see character B as you do. This also doesn't just count as 'a misunderstanding' trope.

It can be simple mundane things because not everyone is going to know your character like you do.

My parents are really weird and ironic when parenting because me and my siblings are definitely neurodivergent and have a lot of anxiety.

So, when they give us instructions we need specifics. And when it's about something more serious than grabbing the remote, they'll get mad and yell.

And it is still a running gag in my household that we need specific directions. But I guess that doesn't apply in other situations 😕
