this is so far by far my most popular post but most people who interact with it probably don't know that at the time i wrote this i was just beginning to recover from a mental crisis and learning how to cope with and navigate my illness. i feel conflicted about this post knowing that i may have unintentionally trivialized mental illness, specifically psychotic and schizophrenia-spectrum illnesses (like the one i am dianosed with). still not gonna delete it tho.

tldr: nooooo i didn't mean to post this in a 'coquette girlboss romanticization of mental illness' way i posted it in a 'attempting to cope with mental illness and reclaim its terms' way
