Don’t look away. Every second matters. Children in Gaza are not just starving — they are dying from hunger. This heartbreaking photo shows just one of the many innocent lives wasting away in silence. My own baby, little Qais, is suffering the same fate. He’s just a small child, too weak to walk, too empty to cry. I’m pleading with you to donate anything you can — even the smallest amount could help save his life and the lives of others like him.

The famine in Gaza is a human-made catastrophe, driven by unbearable conditions:

1. Total blockade: Food, medicine, and aid are deliberately prevented from reaching millions of civilians.

2. Destruction of agriculture: Airstrikes have wiped out farms, bakeries, and water systems, cutting off local sources of survival.

3. Collapse of healthcare: With hospitals under attack and no supplies left, malnourished children like Qais are left with no treatment, no care, and no chance to recover.

Together, these three forces are killing Gaza’s children. Hunger is no longer just a crisis — it’s an execution.

I’m just a mother holding onto hope with bleeding hands. I cannot feed my son. I cannot keep him warm. I watch him slip away — not because I failed him, but because the world abandoned us. Please, I’m begging you from the depths of my shattered heart: don’t let Qais be another nameless victim. Don’t let hunger erase him. Give whatever you can. Share this. Speak up. Hearing about their struggles may be painful, but you and I can help provide them a little relief during this nightmare! Knowing I can help even a little is what keeps me going!

Israel has caused a man-made famine, hurting people who were already struggling to survive. Many Palestinians are struggling to hold onto hope.

But the kind people at @palestine-charity-kitchen are trying to provide food for them!

Ahmad Al-Gharabli & Abdulsalam are running a fundraiser to help them feed as many people as possible in Northern Gaza. They previously ran a larger operation, but were forced to start over because of bombing from Israel.

This charity was brought to my attention by my good friend living in Gaza right now @abdalsalam2000 , who's fundraiser to save his family is vetted #4 on @gazavetters list.

Please share this and give what you can, to help lessen the burden of this man-made famine on the people of Gaza 💚 Thank you for your help, and thank you @palestine-charity-kitchen for what you do!

samah @ammar-family24 was neighbours with an elderly man who was kind enough to provide her with transport in his car and share food that he bought with her and her baby, without asking for anything at all in return

unfortunately, this man was martyred just a few days ago and samah is now without anyone who is willing to help her with this

this is a big problem as ammar requires 4 cartons of milk and 1 pack of diapers per week. one carton of milk now costs $110 $150 in gaza, and 1 pack of diapers costs $170

this means altogether, ammar would need $610 $770 per week for these daily needs

this sounds like a relatively manageable amount, but unfortunately all merchants currently take all of payments in physical cash, and the people who change paypal money into physical cash demand a 48% fee

between this, a 25% paypal fee, and a 5% ko-fi fee, the end amount we end up needing to send to samah is $1623 $2079 instead. please do what you can to help keep ammar fed as well

samah’s original campaign and account are shared by 90-ghost, but it was shut down as her organiser’s bank account was deactivated

proof samah asked me to use my paypal / ko-fi account here - this is the second one i have made. i have also attached a screenshot proving that i checked with her that it'd be okay to use another ko-fi i made under the cut

9. Try becoming a beggar for 48 hours.

10. Try sleeping somewhere and waking up to find yourself standing amidst rubble and smoke everywhere.

11. Try being shocked every day by news of a friend or relative.

12. Try walking everywhere in torn shoes.

13. Try drinking tea that tastes like plastic.

14. Try sleeping under all types of warplanes and drones.

15. Try sleeping while the sound of shelling and explosions is just a few hundred meters away.

16. Try eating your food while sharing it with flies.

17. Try sleeping and waking up to mosquito bites all over your body.

18. Don’t try all of that—just imagine it… just imagine.

19. Try sleeping in a tent, freezing at night, stung by ants and insects, and waking with the birds as the sun roasts you like shish tawook.

20. Try entering the tent at noon or leaving it in this kind of weather.
