you know what? im gonna dc post on main

so i was thinking abt a thing my friend said a while back abt kids in gotham that made me kinda :/. he was like “you know if gotham were really a place in our world today and those kids heard abt school shootings in other places in the united states they’d be kinda unphased. they’d be like ‘a school shooting? thats it?’” and i just wanna say…….. thats wrong?

if anything, gotham kids would be so sympathetic towards the victims. they’d probably be thinking stuff like “that’s supposed be something that happens in OUR city, not anywhere else” because they’re used to tragedy and dont want other kids to live thru it too.

gotham kids would be fighting for more gun control and school safety so much, too, and they’d have so many walk outs and ralleys and marches you wouldn’t believe. i can almost hear a gotham kid saying “these events are the perfect chance for one of gotham’s criminals to murder us all but if thats the risk we have to take to make a change, we’ll do it”. i can see some wayne kids participating in these too, since they’re often fighting to keep gotham safe and know that this would be an important step.

gotham kids would be reaching out to the victims, standing with them, supporting them, just like we do but probably more because they live thru sh*t like that all the time and its just not fair that anyone has to go thru it, especially not their fellow kids
